I just fell love with the series and now it would be a dream to have a place where all the games are set up next to each other and you could play any of them, including the arcade game(s). I only have the DS game and the PS4 game so far but I'm on the hunt for more from the series. I already won a couple of auctions on the N64, Neogeo Pocket Color and PSP version.
Hope the next generation of Densha de Go arcade cabinet would have real analog speedometer dial & door state indicator as well as physical knob switches for headlights and rain wipers. Models with separate throttle and brake levers might also be welcomed.
I love the PS4 version of this game. The original Densha mode is amazing! I love to see how these cabinets get assembled and the behind the scenes aspects of them. Thank you for posting this and now I will go binge the rest of your channel!
Switch version isn't too bad either. I actually got my first near zero on the cab today, random, but nice feel nonetheless! Some day I want to run PSVR in the cab just to make the experience as ridiculous as possible
@@GameSaru haha! Please do and post video! The VR inclusion was a huge selling point of that game for me. By the way there are translation guides of the ps4 ddg if you need any additional guidance. Turn off your lights for passing trains for additional points!
@@GameSaru Also those crazy load times you experienced is that just an initial thing or is it all the time? For instance if you play the Yamanote Line and it does that long load, you get a game over, start a new game also choosing Yamanote Line, does it have the same long load time?
Thanks for doing this video! It's so awesome getting to see this thing so up close. I had no idea it had those ports of 1 and 2! The taito candies in the sides was freaking adorable! Hoping in a few years I'll have the space and funds to get one of these!
Hope that Taito would make it even cooler by having mechanical speedometers & pressure gauges, real indicator lights and circuit breakers (for headlights and wipers) and even some pneumatics (Realistic feel and sound for braking, whistles that sounds like real ones but with lower decibels, more precise vibration and G-force emulation) installed in later versions of this simulator deck.
Discovered your channel when I got curious about what Dissidia arcade cabinet looked like and now I’m infuriated we have never got a English language release of densha.
That is the most beautiful cab. So jealous.

It's initial. Same thing happens on Starwing Paradox, after the first time it's normal

It would be pretty bad ass to have, space wise..... yeah this thing would fill a room asap
haha lmk when you do! I got my arm twisted into buying a second one .-.
@@GameSaru here's hoping they're still available in 2023/2024 or so!
Densha 1 and 2 are fully playable in mame with imperfect graphics as of version 0.229 and up

It even has it's own theme song, so good.
This is spectacular wow!!
Kind of want one of these machines. But unsure how. Love the video and the game. Keep up the good work.
I think shipping would be outrageous, but I do sell them.
Discovered your channel when I got curious about what Dissidia arcade cabinet looked like and now I’m infuriated we have never got a English language release of densha.
We have actually. It was on location test at Dave & Busters in Dallas a month or two back. Not sure if it's still there or not.
I cannot wait to give it a try. And by give it a try, I mean buy it
Nerd
Lmao "What's a train?!?"
Look what potential this game would have if there was an American equivalent
Man this is cool
Sold three pinball machines (~$18,000) to save up to buy one of these in the future. What's the cost including freight for the compact?
Maybe around $6,500
@@GameSaru Not bad! Will definitely get one and a few candy cabs once shipping prices go down, if ever.
@@GameSaru What website do you go to if one wants to buy one and ship it to the US? Interested in the compact version. Great channel!
Mostly communicate through Discord/FB. Listings are at www.gamesaru.net/purchase
How much does this cabinet weigh? I imagine that was a nightmare in shipping.
Around 500kg

You cannot play the retro version because there are credits remaining.
Yeah, it's because the retro mode is an entirely separate program, so it doesn't transfer credits between them. Pretty silly.
YES!!! BEST GAME
Amazing! But how much does it cost?
It’d end up over $6,000
@@GameSaru that’s not as bad as I thought, was it second hand?
Yeah. It’s rare we can order anything new, though it has happened
lol how do i buy one
Not recommended right now, global freight costs are exorbitant. Price would be ridiculously high. I’m not importing any more for a while
Holy cow
What is the price of this monster
Varies. Cheapest I think around $5,500, right now definitely more like $6,000-$7,000
