Every other year got to sit on benches but my school seemed to hate me bc I'm disabled they hated anyone disabled so my year group didn't get to they ducked I'm glad I'm in a nice college
My school has a award where if you have the highest attendance (>95%) you’d get to sit on the bench. So sometimes Year 5s do get to sit on the benches 😊 But the Year 6s rarely get the award 😅
Omg they were so much more comfy than the floorrrrrrr!!!! And yh the whole before u sadly leave us thing is very inaccurate for me cause they didn't care, our leaving to primary was being lined up in the hall and being told to leave lol
I started year 7 a few weeks ago 😭 I miss the benches so much! We used to invite parents in who’s children won awards. Everyone would look back to see if their parents were there and I would just stare into their soul 😅
In my school there wasn’t enough benches so halfway through the year they told the prefects they could sit on the benches. Someone got so annoyed and there were multiple fights about it this. This happened every year I was there
I like the fact that you start school on the floor, then level up to benches and then upgrade to actual chairs in secodnary school
