Hey Duke, couldn't find a contact for you but I bought a faux-antique metal bench in the summer and when it rains not too heavily, the rain makes this gorgeous plinking sound as it hits the slats of the bench. Think of a rain version of a wind chime. Strongly suggest you seek out a similar bench to record, or at a real push, I could probably take a recording for you that you could have the copyright to. It's England - rain is one certainty! :-) I only have 1080P though but my sound gear is not bad. I could send you the raw footage via google or something.
