They've changed the harmony order. I know it's boring to sing the same part over and over but jessy really needs to do the lowest harmony. Her voice is too distinct to sing the melody and leigh voice is to soft to sing the lowest harmony.
+ggymstar It's actually Jade that is singing the lower harmony for the majority of the performance, not Leigh-Anne. Jesy switches to singing the lower harmony during the ''sha la-la-la'' section after the second chorus (1:56-2:12), and then switches back to singing the melody. You can really hear it between 2:33-2:36, when for a few seconds, it's just Leigh-Anne, Jade and Perrie singing the chorus. The sound is coming out differently due to the girls being varying distances from the mics as well. Jesy is very close which is why her voice is coming through loudest, whereas Leigh-Anne is quite far which is why, aside from her verse (0:27-0:44), you don't hear her too well in the mix (no pun intended!). - This essay was brought to you by 'Get Weird (Deluxe Edition)'

Jade's ease in her head voice/falsetto means she is best suited to singing the higher harmonies. I think Leigh-Anne sounds best singing either the melody or the higher harmony (à la 'DNA', 'Little Me', 'Move'). Having said that, one of the (many) reasons I love these girls so much is because, all of their voices are so versatile and solid top to bottom. Sometimes it just comes down to the feel/vibe of the song as to which member is assigned the corresponding vocal harmony part, which is great because the girls get to ''jump around'', aren't stuck with one part and get to continually challenge themselves vocally.
+Ashley Crystal Perrie doesnt need to sing high low or middle harmonies because she could try it all. She is the power voice of the group. Which means she gives backup for the singers to make the song more catchy.....Backup voices can be low high or middle. Since she's a power voice of the group. She could try it all.
