Also Bella casts a shield on others, it takes concentration. Also age doesn't equal strength, especially since the Voltori haven't been openly challenged to a fight it, well, ever, really. They have skill and training, but while the Generals have more expirience, when was the last time they saw a battlefield firsthand? For the Officers, that was last week. Their hubiris was, and always would be their downfall

This ability, was called Force Storm (Not the Kotor one, that was just Force Lightning), and it was so destructive and dangerous in the hands of Sidious, that he literally destroyed entire fleets with it. He even had the potential to destroy entire planets with it. And Darth Malgus invented the ability. Not only that, Darth Malgus was an inspiration and role model for Darth Vader and Sidious in their idea of a strong enforcer. Especially since Malgus was one of if not the most dangerous Sith Marauder to ever exist. His death in the end took an entire team of Sith Lords to implement, and most of the team was slaughtered. He's definitely up there as one of the best Sith Lords of all time. Satele Shan eventually became one of the youngest Grandmasters because of her feats and efforts in the Great Galactic War. Helping to rebuild most of the order on Tython and other Jedi Outposts after the war. She was an awesome Jedi, and a good Grandmaster all things considering.

While Luke is widely considered to be the strongest, Jedi and Sith in the old republic had 1000s of years of training and battle experience vs when we first met Luke and Jedi were things of legend. Basically in their prime. JRPG Nation
I wouldn't agree with the notion that every Jedi and Sith are stronger, but when it comes down to the top tier, Luke doesn't really hold a candle to certain TOR characters. Sith wise, the Emperor is an entity that literally was able to transcend death through consumption of an entire planet's worth of life force. He does it twice, and is strong enough to turn nearly an entire Imperial occupied world into mindless puppets with his power. Not to mention the Dread Masters, who could destroy entire fleets and use similar feats of mind control as the Emperor and were capable of wiping out both the Republic and Empire until they met their match in PIS. In fact, same as Valkorian, both of those examples were defeated by PIS. Luke, on the other hand, couldn't even beat the budget version of Vitiate/Valkorian without help: Palpatine. In terms of raw power, the best I have ever seen from him is being able to destroy an object the size of a star destroyer and having that extensively tire him out. His speed and techniques are formidable, but they don't really compare to a guy that can literally siphon the life energy of an entire planet as well as six ancient Sith Lords able to turn an entire world to do their bidding with extensive power of the Force (The Dread Masters were capable of Bastila's Battle Meditation, albeit in a darker and destructive manner).
Hate to tell ya, but Legends ran in the word of God (Lucas). Luke was the most powerful Jedi ever. Period. You may disagree (I do) but Legends canon is Legends canon.

I know I'm 3 years late but after that battle Satele Shan and Malcom (that trooper who charged at malgus) had an after party in Malcoms tent ended up having a kid. Satele ended up as Grandmaster of the Jedi order and Malcom ended up as an important figure in the republic.
The way the dark side works is that they will use it to make their force powers stronger and their hits harder. It hardens their will to live and win it turns them into almost unstoppable beings.
Just so you guys know, the Sith in this cinematic and the last one is Darth Malgus, he was also the main Sith in the Deceived trailer, only at that point he was wearing a respirator, thanks to this battle here.

The Sith who got pounded is Darth Malgus. His master ( the one with the red face is called Vindican who got killed by the lady Jedi's master. He is the original Sith race. The term Sith was originally a name of a species of people with red skin ). The lady's master who died in returns at the hands of the Darth Malgus is called Kao Cen Darach. The cowboy pilot in returns is called Captain Nico Okar. The culprit behind all this is a 1000year old sith called Darth Vitiate. You never see him though.
Wish these guys were recommended to watch watch much earlier from now. Because of their interesting personalities. They are quite awesome to watch and listen to.

She is one of the only Jedi in the orders history (Legends) to ever stop a light saber with her hands, of course using the force.
Satele Shan is a Jedi Consular, and the bad guy is a Sith Warrior. Kamikaze dude is a Republic Trooper, hence the BFG.

I know I'm 3 years late but after that battle Satele Shan and Malcom (that trooper who charged at malgus) had an after party in Malcoms tent ended up having a kid. Satele ended up as Grandmaster of the Jedi order and Malcom ended up as an important figure in the republic.
