Hence I'm not expecting sane deal to go through. Also if we got paqueta will we still get tielemens

I've been an Arsenal fan since 98, and I can't remember a time when I've been so impressed by the signings and apparent ambition. Full stop, it blows my mind that the media is blowing Spuds for signing a 31 year old wing back, a backup winger good for 10 goals a season, and a defensive midfielder (admittedly, Yves had a great season and looks a solid player), yet they act like Arsenal is signing table scraps and failures from city. I think we have signed some excellent players, with a clear plan for where we strengthen. Players I was impressed by for a couple years. I'm excited for the season to start

Zinchenko is premier league proven, won't be playing in World Cup, can play in the midfield and cover for Tierney at leftback -- should turn out to be an amazing signing -- plus he's already been at a club with Arteta and Jesus

@@patchh15 Am Arsenal funny I did care where we finished in the previous season and my was the improvement of the team and how Arteta wanted the team play and everything they is more to football then just the position and now look how attractive our club as become to players even if we are playing Europa players are interested to come all the because the project is good the vision of the manager is clear

@@patchh15 what’s weird is not acknowledging the shitshow he came into to try and reverse. I don’t think you realise just how much he had to do during a pandemic no less, and completely minimising all they’ve done in terms of long term vision only to focus on league position. Rebuilding clubs can’t care about league positions because long term thinking won’t bring immediate results. This season is make or break though. If he falls outside top 4 it’s a no go for me. But to disregard what he’s achieved so far makes me think you’re the spurs fan.

I have been your fan man. So I think Arsenal has done a great job so far in this transfer window by systematically (right profiles without over paying) address our squad issues and also increasing the depth of the squad. I know the job isn't done yet and in that I will say I will love us to get Leroy Sane to provide more treat from the left wing and I believe it will help Gabi, plus the fact that that's more experience and winning mentality added to the team. Then I will also love for to get Teilesman as his a good feet and has EPL expirience as well and kinda loves our club which will breed commitment. If we have got Zen from City who can cover for left back osition and Teilesman as midfield cover while that happens, Then finally I still think we need a cover defender for Gab (LCB). Now that's what I think!!!

Cannot wait for the Zinchenko announcement soon! I think getting Paqueta and Tielemans would be nice, because depth and Sane - if Edu can get Bayern in talks for a move - as well.
You want Tielemans Sane and Paqueta. That could be 140mil after already spending 120 million and 140-150 last summer. You think that is realistic after losing couple hundred million last year? I think one or 2 more is possible but if ine is a Sane you can forget Paqueta I would think.

I reckon the suprise signing is Kingsley Coman. We saw it with Porto, we were linked with other porto midfielders but then got Fabio Viera. Atm we're being linked with Bayern wingers and if it's a similar pattern then maybe it's Coman who we haven't been linked with yet

I am convinced, with the right team balance and quality of players we are getting who are technically gifted, Pepe can explode next season. I still strongly believe he can turn around. Tavares can as well be converted to a winter. He has pace, and can take out defenders one on one. A very good dribbler. Needs to work on his crosses. Bale was converted, Saka as well

I'm beginning to think that Tielemans is definitely a top target for Arteta and Edu.
But the need in strength and depth for other positions takes priority and if they can get the other targets (with the cash available) then make sales in order to fund the Tielemans deal.
It doesn't make Arsenal seem desperate when going into the negotiations with Leicester and the club have already been told that his first priority is Arsenal so no need to rush.
And the longer Arsenal drag this out and are linked to other targets the more Leicester drop their asking price.
It's more likely that he isn't our first choice. Atm Paqueta seems the preferred option for the left sided no.8 role.
