01:45 sadly it put me off from watching further. Choices of other people, economy, weather, politics - you have very limited to none impact on those. And they affect you immensely, even your own body can fail you and develop some condition you don't want like cancer. Those factors compose at the very least 50% of your life, not 10% as you state. But I agree with the first statement that people generally make rational choices "as for what they think might be the best at the moment".

That's fair, I do understand that these things have a massive impact and it's a complex topic.
But what I am encouraging is for people to take things into their own hands as much as possible, because on an individual level you can't change these things, which I do mention in the video.

@@IsaacJoshi watched till the end. Loved the part when you say that it is OK to let go of some of the things you want but not want enough to make sacrifices. As we are aging we change and some things are no longer worth it, dreams and goals have an expiration date. So if you can delete this part about 90% as this sounds ridiculous to sb who is older, or maybe it is supposed to make people feel mighty and good about themselves that everything is possible. But I believe that your message is too deep to be just shallow "if you put your heart into it you can have it all" make you feel good video. Yeah so that might be an interesting topic for a new video - how to be able to put effort and prepare for sth when final outcome is unknown as it depends on choices of other people And even more important how not feel salty when the outcome is negative despite the fact that eg.job interview or date went very good but your very good is not good enough for them.
