Hey Tam I took a self love year in 2023 and just got a boyfriend a month ago. We have been friends awhile before that but never dated each other. I just wanted to say how powerful that year made me feel!

This video of yours is so right timing! I can relate with the self-perception thing especially right now, in college I'm having a hard time to renew my self-identity because I have this bad self-image about myself which is about me, always making mistakes leading me to second-guess myself and making me feel I can't do any responsibility.
I know that I need to change my self-perception first but right now, I'm having a difficulty to change it but I know eventually, I will overcome this and become the version of myself that act on her desires and acquire responsibility because I know that I can confidently do it. I'll just have to do the work and it will take time but it's fine.
Anyways, I love you Tam! Thank you for sharing your story to us! Love your love story with your bf, I kinda want to create a story out of it ❤

Here is an alternative viewpoint to marrying early. (Disclaimer: I am not condemning those who wish to get married late that is your personal choice)
1. marrying early is NOT a 'disservice' to you and your future partner. see if you are living with a person day and night you grow with each other and most of your values and opinions are changing together and into the same thing, so it is not like you both will grow completely different from each after the huge change in your personality. This comes from my view on marriage. I see it like growing and finding life together.
2. biological clock does matter.(for those who want children) there is a reason why we stop having children naturally after an age. Never think that humans know better than mother nature plus wouldnt you like to maximise the time you get to spend with your children?
Lastly,(not particularly directed at Tam cuz she didnt say anything about this)Marriage is not a jail. If marriage feels like something that will snatch your independence then you need to change your views on marriage or the person you are considering to marry.Please make sure you do a proper research on this and then decide on your own
