I had a gen 1 r125 (2008) and it was my first bike and I absolutely loved it. I Unfortunately got rear ended by a drunk driver earlier this year in march and it was wrote off and I still miss her like crazy. As soon as I could I got another r125 but a gen 2 this time (2015) and I must say it brought back the pure happiness these little bikes always have to offer. Oh and for the fuel economy Mine tells me I get around 130+ mpg. Love the videos man ride safe 💪

i have a cbr 125 from 2015, repsol colours, we meme on the yzf with my friends for the extremly huge fuel tank, but for real, the bike is ok, if i had to choose a different bike than my cbr i would choose this, but i also hear a lot that the cbr is slow and that the yzf is the only 125 sports bike worth it, ima tell you this, jumping from a 50ccm romet to a 125 is a huge jump(i rode 125s before but not on the road) and the max i got out my CBR is 140km/h, and even my dad told me that it doesnt really matter that it doesnt have 4 valves, its a honda.

82 on speedometer? If that's the case it was probably closer to 70. Still great tho.

I've ridden on my zontes 125cc stock cst chinese tyres all year heavy rain, got caught out in the slushy snow, they are amazing for stock tyres never slipped or had any grip issues.
When is your son doing his big bike licence?

The stock tyres on my YZF felt ok whilst I was fair weather riding. Even in rain I thought they were ok, until I began riding my Daytona with much better tyres. Now I can feel the limits and the minor slippage on the 125's stock tyres and have to adjust my riding to compensate. Watch this space. New tyres soon.
My son rarely rides. In fact, he is looking at changing his LXS for a cruiser. May see him out more once he's changed his bike.
