By far the most informative and realistic view of any of the hundreds of progression line videos that I’ve watched. I feel like your explanation is SO genuine. Most people don’t share their ovulation testing, so you just never know if their DPO count is actually correct…and it can be very discouraging to watch videos of women getting positives so early on like 7-8 DPO…in reality, we as the viewers don’t ACTUALLY know how they’re calculating that number. So I love that you shared a little snippet of your ovulation testing as well to back up the numbers you were sharing for the pregnancy testing. Well done! 🙌🏻
Yesss It’s actually so annoying watching people say they got a positive at 6-8DPO when they don’t track each positive Ovulation test and BBT to figure out the actual O day. I know they mean well, but most of them are probably wrong
This was super helpful I got my first positive on my af due date…I have a 30 day cycle it was really dark on a first response and then today is 21 dpo and I got my dye stealer!!!! After 2 back to back chemicals in July and August of 2023 this is beyond the best feeling ever❤ also your wedding ring is gorgeous!!!!! Good luck everyone praying for you!
Thank you so much for this video. I have pregmate tests and I have been so concerned that they were not getting darker. I have seen multiple other people saying that they don't get as dark as quickly. My control lines also seem to be light, and I think my test progression looks very similar to yours, so I'm hoping that I'm just pretty early and the lines will progress even if they stay lighter than other pregnancy test brands. I'm so grateful to the other commenters for sharing their experiences too! It is making me feel so much better that I'm not alone.
@@celinarios5191 mine all showed up during the time frame, they just weren’t very dark until about 18dpo. I stopped testing at 21dpo when I had a second blood test that was definitely positive/doubling. If you are having some show up outside the time frame I would say test again in a few days and see if the test line shows up in the time frame. I know how frustrating it is. Best of luck to you!!!
I got a negative test on 13 dpo Then I was certain I was not pregnant and I promised myself to not take any other test until I missed my period Everyday I had period pain and was expecting to start bleeding but I was not! 20 dpo (30 cd) I took a test and dark positive! I never had a 30 day cycle (26-28 Normal) But because I had a negative test on 13 dpo, I lost hope that it was possible for me to be pregnant My implantation was 10 dpo Maybe in 3 days hcg didn't have time to build up! Ps. I aborted at around week 9 I was so depressed and doubted my marriage, my willingness to be a mother,... TTC ing again Very scared to go through the same emotional pain I went through in my previous pregnancy
@Tianna-tk5px Actually, after my abortion, my severe depression went away completely Then I started hearing that infertility is very common in women my age (38 at the time) I panicked! I was like, why nb told me! I started ttc ing in a couple of months after my abortion But we had a harder time catching my ovulation day as I was aiming for a boy Finally, I got pregnant again, but it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy The following month, I got pregnant again (the anniversary of my previous pregnancy that ended up in abortion) My daughter is 5 months old now I went through severe depression and nausea during the first trimester again, but I resisted The two following trimesters were amazing I had an awesome pregnancy Only 10 kilos weight gain No stretch mark Awsome delivery Perfect baby I'm anxious to get pregnant asap But as I'm breastfeeding, I have not got my period back I'm glad that I was able to have my daughter Such a roller-coaster We should really stop being self-centered and not consider having a babies dream blockers I remember in my first pregnancy, I kept watching "childfree by choice"videos rather than "I love being a mom" I was also reading messages of groups like "I regret being a mother" I really hope my egg quality allows me to have at least 3 babies

@@sarrrche I had great signs but was negative closer to my cycle day. I think it didn’t properly implant. I am trying again with a higher dose but this time around I am not monitoring ovulation or watching videos or being overly obsessive as that creates too much stress on my body. I’m letting it happen how it’s supposed too. I chose the route of just having sex daily or every other day!
Omg I’m literally going nuts my only symptom is sore boobs and been my waking up at 5am starving! Also as the days pass testing period like cramps! I’m at 7 dpo started testing 5 dpo. All negative been so discouraged and afraid it might not have worked. Pray for me please

This is my 1st time trying. I had mild cramping at 6-7 DPO with spotting, lower back pain with mood swings at 9-10 DPO, took the test at 10 DPO in the morning and found bfn.. I am freaking out of thinking if it is period coming or not!!😞😞
Today is 11-12 dpo (just from an estimate, I didn't test or track in any way) and I saw what I'm not even sure was anything at all. Almost like a crease or wrinkle, or just a shadow. I'm not even sure it's not just in my head. I'm gonna try again in 2 days but it's driving me nuts.
This gives me hope, I'm 25dpo, cycle day 43. Had implantation bleeding cycle days 31 to 33 (pink mucus, light cramps, no flow). Only took 2 Tests, one on cycle day 37 and 43. Don't know if I'm just getting false negatives. I've never gone more than 15 dpo without getting my period.
Thank you for sharing this. My period is supposed to come in a week and i had a somewhat faint line that looks like the 13 DPO. I hope it isn’t a false positive for it being so early 😩. I got a really faint line from one of the cheap dollar tree test. It’s obvious enough to be positive but faint enough to question

Most women in my family take a long time before they get positive tests. I’m assuming it has to do with really low hormones in the beginning of pregnancy. I went in for my yearly OB appointment and was three days late for my period. I got a negative pregnancy test. 4 days later, so 7 days late for my period and I got a positive with a clear blue test. I was so surprised and happy. I thought if I was pregnant the drs would have been able to tell much sooner than I would with an at home test. My mom and sister have very similar stories with their pregnancies. I now know it’s unlikely for me to test positive really early. Don’t be discouraged everyone is different.

Most of the women in my family have an easy time getting pregnant, it’s hard not to compare situations or wonder why it’s not working for me. I know it takes time for some, but it’s definitely a punch in the stomach when you think you’re in tune with your body, you think you did everything right, & you continue to get negatives😔
I just got my first positive on Thursday and today 4 days it hasn’t gotten darker I started to think I was gonna have chemical pregnancy until your video it showed a different progress and it’s so reassuring ☺️ normally everyone’s is so dark one day from the next.
@@chwoey I am 6 weeks and 4 days! My lines took long to progress but 3 days after my missed period, they got SUPER dark. I didn’t get a dye stealer until much later. I am pregnant with twins and they are perfectly healthy. Had my first ultrasound yesterday and got to see their heartbeats. :) Don’t let the internet drive you crazy. Im having twins and my lines did not progress quickly. Every pregnancy is different. For your own peace of mind, don’t drive yourself crazy like I did. ❤️
Good luck! I'm ttc #2. 6th cycle on ovulation induction (with letrozole) & I feel like I am but am trying not to get my hopes up. My husband & I were only able to bd one time in my fertile window. Also, we hadn't bd'd since when we were trying the month before, & I was told it's not an ABSOLUTE necessity, but it's better if your husband is ejeculating about 1 time per week, or at least 5 days before you have intercourse in your fertile window, because men's sperm will jist kind of sit there until released, they don't make new sperm until then, so it keeps it "fresh." & I am afraid that since we went a month without having intercourse before that 1 day we did in my fertile window, that there may not have been fresh sperm. But then again I've heard of people that have gotten pregnant that only have Intercourse every few months... 🤷♀️
Thank you for this! 10 dpo today had a possible shadow on pregmate but definitely a faint line on first response. Almost didn't take another because I don't like to waste the fancy tests either. Glad to have something to compare to.
Started testing this morning …. 7/8 DPO we believe. Tested LH but I think my peak on my birthday and missed the positive, but we did get a significant increase & then drop! 😮 first month trying this time around. Using Pregmate LH and Bird&Be &FRER for HCG! Ofc negative might have seen something today but wasn’t expecting anything
Today is my 7 DPO. I did first pregnancy test and its negative. Since 1 DPO I have breast pain and its is strange for me. 1 and 2 DPO I was very sad nervous. Like depressed. I had strange dreams and yesterday dream about holding a baby.

I have the blood test on 10/23/23. I’m so discouraged. I don’t have more embryos. We bought eggs and paid $22k, but we got only one embryo the one we transferred.

I got a Tempdrop. My cycles are normally 21 days 🙃. First cycle I used Tempdrop I ovulated on cycle day 19. All of my cycle tracking apps said my period was due two days later. I got a positive at 10 DPO which was like a week after my missed period according to my normal cycles.
I think I’m in the same boat. I must have ovulated right before period because I have 27-31 day cycles, I’m on cycle day 36 still no period but lower back pain and cramping that comes and goes. So confused.
I’m trying for baby and missed my period and I’ve taken some tests some have a slight line others just says not pregnant but one of them was clearly positive the lines are very clear I took this one yesterday but I took a digital one this morning and it came out not pregnant I’m so confused 🥺
Thanks, really interesting! I have a 24 day cycle and I've had a hard time working out how that relates to a lot of into I'm reading about cycles, because all examples are for 28 day cycles! I just had a negative pregnancy test, but I assumed I was 10 DPO even though I hadn't tracked ovulation this month (my Amazon package was delayed!) and I haven't been checking ovulation since I had my first child. So seeing when your ovulation is in your cycle, I see it's possible I'm actually 8 DPO! So I will wait a few days! And next cycle I will track ovulation!
We ovulate at different times sometimes. With my first two kids the test line came up right away at cycle day 32 I’m a 27 day cycle. With the 3rd the line was a little light this time on day 32 and when I looked at my calendar it’s because I ovulated a whole week later! So you’re not out til the witch shows up. Not to mention this time I had bright red lots of spotting when my period was due!

We have been ttc since our miscarriage in November 2021. I got a very faint positive 8 dpo (yesterday) and today at 9 dpo I got a negative result on the pregmate. I’ve had unusual symptoms from my every month pms. Like insomnia, acne, etc. I’m just confused :(
I did my frozen IVF on August 16th. The doctors test me on August 26 and result was negative. I stopped my medication as I was told but still no period and have headaches, nausea and breast tender and feel a lot of things moving or stretching around my pelvis. I don't know but something has me still thinking I could be pregnant.
I know this is an old video but I just wanted to chime in for anyone watching late, I also had a terrible experience with Pregmate pregnancy tests not getting darker and giving myself unnecessary anxiety. They are not good for line progression. I have two tests that look almost identical in darkness, and my HCG levels on those were 744 and 6,900. 🤦 I've also had this happen with first response though (line isn't visible darker even when HCG is increasing), so I think it's probably not worth tracking line progression after around 1000 HCG.
Thank you for these videos. I’m currently on the TWW and the anticipation is killing me lol. I have an 11 day luteal phase so I’ve been stressing that it might not be long enough to implant. I did AI on CD 15 which was peak day in the PM so hoping it works this month. This is month two of trying and using letrozole. I’m also hoping for twins but would be happy to just have one as well.
Didn’t take this cycle. Was late by 3 days and took a cheapie. It showed a super faint line but later that day I started bleeding a little and lasted 3 days. Tests since have been negative. I go this afternoon to see the obgyn to see what happened and to see if I can be sent to a fertility clinic to do the next AI as it’s getting harder to do an at home AI. The weirdest part is my BBT remained above cover line until this morning.
So the first day of our cycle is day 1 of your period. You can only estimate your ovulation by looking at your discharge and using ur last month as a helper. Take the amount of days in your last cycle and subtract 14. 28-14= 14 So u ovulated most likely on day 14.

It doesn't matter. As long as the urine gets on the stick. If you're overthinking thi gs this much, you can cause yourself a lot of stress! & stress hormones will override pregnancy hormones. (Not trying to be rude at all, please don't take my comment that way)

Call your gynecologist and tell them that your period are irregular and that you got a postive pregnancy test and they might schedule you an echo to date the pregnancy
I personally could’ve swore I started my period today from the cramps I was getting the past two days and my breasts being sore since 6dpo. I’m currently 8dpo and my cramping just stopped and i only had brownish discharge. My period isn’t due for another seven days. I will probably test if I don’t have my period in another three days. It’s unusual for me to experience these symptoms two weeks before my expected period. Hope you get the results you’re wanting!

Last month was my first month trying and I just guessed by using the calendar method but alas I was off. There was a moment where I was eager to find out and kept taking tests but I was buying those pricier ones. Must have spent like $50. I just discovered more cost effective tests that come with ovulation tests too on Amazon for $20 which I see a lot of people using on these online communities. I do recommend buying those in case it takes you a couple of tries. In most videos I’ve seen that at day 10 dpo was the time frame that people have gotten a faint positive and then it gets darker as each day passes.

I had faint positives with my 1st child. It never went dark I tested untill 3 months just to see the dark line but it never happened for me. Very odd. But I barely had any pregnancy symptoms infact I can say nothing at all.

Hi i got pregmate tests and the test i got negatives on the second lines get darker did you have negative lines get darker after sitting past the time

Good to know! I have this brand for pregnancy test. And my fertility doctor told me that I had implantation bleeding but I haven't gotten a positive & I'm around 9dpo. 😊

I took at test at 13DPO and it was the faintest line I took two tests today and Clear Blue showed I'm 1-2weeks ☺️

I have 20 positive pregnancy test (even digital) and went to the doctor to get blood taken and doc said no HCG was found. Next day still getting positives. So confused!!
Ive experienced this. it did result in a miscarriage when they did a ultrasound.
Im 7dpo and swear I can see a super feint line. Hopefully its not my eyes or a false positive. Hoping for a darker line in the next few days!
This is my 1st time trying. I had mild cramping at 6-7 DPO with spotting, lower back pain with mood swings at 9-10 DPO, took the test at 10 DPO in the morning and found bfn.. I am freaking out of thinking if it is period coming or not!!😞😞
Today is 11-12 dpo (just from an estimate, I didn't test or track in any way) and I saw what I'm not even sure was anything at all. Almost like a crease or wrinkle, or just a shadow. I'm not even sure it's not just in my head. I'm gonna try again in 2 days but it's driving me nuts.
This gives me hope, I'm 25dpo, cycle day 43. Had implantation bleeding cycle days 31 to 33 (pink mucus, light cramps, no flow). Only took 2 Tests, one on cycle day 37 and 43. Don't know if I'm just getting false negatives. I've never gone more than 15 dpo without getting my period.

My first I didn’t get a positive until the day I was supposed to get my period. With my second I had a positive digital at 8 dpo.
This gives me so much hope. Trying to get pregnant with my first, it’s a learning curve for sure & can be so discouraging after the first few unsuccessful cycles.♥️
Most women in my family take a long time before they get positive tests. I’m assuming it has to do with really low hormones in the beginning of pregnancy. I went in for my yearly OB appointment and was three days late for my period. I got a negative pregnancy test. 4 days later, so 7 days late for my period and I got a positive with a clear blue test. I was so surprised and happy. I thought if I was pregnant the drs would have been able to tell much sooner than I would with an at home test. My mom and sister have very similar stories with their pregnancies. I now know it’s unlikely for me to test positive really early. Don’t be discouraged everyone is different.
@@Dream19905 oh I know everyone is different. It’s still hard sometimes. Most of the women in my family have an easy time getting pregnant, it’s hard not to compare situations or wonder why it’s not working for me. I know it takes time for some, but it’s definitely a punch in the stomach when you think you’re in tune with your body, you think you did everything right, & you continue to get negatives😔

I just got my first positive on Thursday and today 4 days it hasn’t gotten darker I started to think I was gonna have chemical pregnancy until your video it showed a different progress and it’s so reassuring ☺️ normally everyone’s is so dark one day from the next.

@@chwoey I am 6 weeks and 4 days! My lines took long to progress but 3 days after my missed period, they got SUPER dark. I didn’t get a dye stealer until much later. I am pregnant with twins and they are perfectly healthy. Had my first ultrasound yesterday and got to see their heartbeats. :) Don’t let the internet drive you crazy. Im having twins and my lines did not progress quickly. Every pregnancy is different. For your own peace of mind, don’t drive yourself crazy like I did. ❤️

Good luck! I'm ttc #2. 6th cycle on ovulation induction (with letrozole) & I feel like I am but am trying not to get my hopes up. My husband & I were only able to bd one time in my fertile window. Also, we hadn't bd'd since when we were trying the month before, & I was told it's not an ABSOLUTE necessity, but it's better if your husband is ejeculating about 1 time per week, or at least 5 days before you have intercourse in your fertile window, because men's sperm will jist kind of sit there until released, they don't make new sperm until then, so it keeps it "fresh." & I am afraid that since we went a month without having intercourse before that 1 day we did in my fertile window, that there may not have been fresh sperm. But then again I've heard of people that have gotten pregnant that only have Intercourse every few months... 🤷♀️

Started testing this morning …. 7/8 DPO we believe. Tested LH but I think my peak on my birthday and missed the positive, but we did get a significant increase & then drop! 😮 first month trying this time around. Using Pregmate LH and Bird&Be &FRER for HCG! Ofc negative might have seen something today but wasn’t expecting anything
Today is my 7 DPO. I did first pregnancy test and its negative. Since 1 DPO I have breast pain and its is strange for me. 1 and 2 DPO I was very sad nervous. Like depressed. I had strange dreams and yesterday dream about holding a baby.

I have the blood test on 10/23/23. I’m so discouraged. I don’t have more embryos. We bought eggs and paid $22k, but we got only one embryo the one we transferred.

I got a Tempdrop. My cycles are normally 21 days 🙃. First cycle I used Tempdrop I ovulated on cycle day 19. All of my cycle tracking apps said my period was due two days later. I got a positive at 10 DPO which was like a week after my missed period according to my normal cycles.
I think I’m in the same boat. I must have ovulated right before period because I have 27-31 day cycles, I’m on cycle day 36 still no period but lower back pain and cramping that comes and goes. So confused.
I’m trying for baby and missed my period and I’ve taken some tests some have a slight line others just says not pregnant but one of them was clearly positive the lines are very clear I took this one yesterday but I took a digital one this morning and it came out not pregnant I’m so confused 🥺

The digital ones can be very unreliable, i've heard of people getting false negatives with digital tests so definitely don't lose hope.
That’s because digital test usually detect higher levels of HCG.

I just had a negative pregnancy test, but I assumed I was 10 DPO even though I hadn't tracked ovulation this month (my Amazon package was delayed!) and I haven't been checking ovulation since I had my first child. So seeing when your ovulation is in your cycle, I see it's possible I'm actually 8 DPO!
So I will wait a few days! And next cycle I will track ovulation!
We ovulate at different times sometimes. With my first two kids the test line came up right away at cycle day 32 I’m a 27 day cycle. With the 3rd the line was a little light this time on day 32 and when I looked at my calendar it’s because I ovulated a whole week later! So you’re not out til the witch shows up. Not to mention this time I had bright red lots of spotting when my period was due!

We have been ttc since our miscarriage in November 2021. I got a very faint positive 8 dpo (yesterday) and today at 9 dpo I got a negative result on the pregmate. I’ve had unusual symptoms from my every month pms. Like insomnia, acne, etc. I’m just confused :(

I did my frozen IVF on August 16th. The doctors test me on August 26 and result was negative. I stopped my medication as I was told but still no period and have headaches, nausea and breast tender and feel a lot of things moving or stretching around my pelvis. I don't know but something has me still thinking I could be pregnant.

I know this is an old video but I just wanted to chime in for anyone watching late, I also had a terrible experience with Pregmate pregnancy tests not getting darker and giving myself unnecessary anxiety. They are not good for line progression. I have two tests that look almost identical in darkness, and my HCG levels on those were 744 and 6,900. 🤦 I've also had this happen with first response though (line isn't visible darker even when HCG is increasing), so I think it's probably not worth tracking line progression after around 1000 HCG.
I can get a false positive every month the day before my period. My obgyn can't explain it, but it happens. It looks like your 10 dpo

Thank you for these videos. I’m currently on the TWW and the anticipation is killing me lol. I have an 11 day luteal phase so I’ve been stressing that it might not be long enough to implant. I did AI on CD 15 which was peak day in the PM so hoping it works this month. This is month two of trying and using letrozole. I’m also hoping for twins but would be happy to just have one as well.

Didn’t take this cycle. Was late by 3 days and took a cheapie. It showed a super faint line but later that day I started bleeding a little and lasted 3 days. Tests since have been negative. I go this afternoon to see the obgyn to see what happened and to see if I can be sent to a fertility clinic to do the next AI as it’s getting harder to do an at home AI. The weirdest part is my BBT remained above cover line until this morning.
Do we calculate our DPO from the last day of our ovulation cycle or first day? I LOVE your videos as well, they're so helpful for me.
So the first day of our cycle is day 1 of your period. You can only estimate your ovulation by looking at your discharge and using ur last month as a helper. Take the amount of days in your last cycle and subtract 14. 28-14= 14 So u ovulated most likely on day 14.

It doesn't matter. As long as the urine gets on the stick. If you're overthinking thi gs this much, you can cause yourself a lot of stress! & stress hormones will override pregnancy hormones. (Not trying to be rude at all, please don't take my comment that way)

Call your gynecologist and tell them that your period are irregular and that you got a postive pregnancy test and they might schedule you an echo to date the pregnancy

I personally could’ve swore I started my period today from the cramps I was getting the past two days and my breasts being sore since 6dpo. I’m currently 8dpo and my cramping just stopped and i only had brownish discharge. My period isn’t due for another seven days.
I will probably test if I don’t have my period in another three days. It’s unusual for me to experience these symptoms two weeks before my expected period.

Last month was my first month trying and I just guessed by using the calendar method but alas I was off. There was a moment where I was eager to find out and kept taking tests but I was buying those pricier ones. Must have spent like $50. I just discovered more cost effective tests that come with ovulation tests too on Amazon for $20 which I see a lot of people using on these online communities. I do recommend buying those in case it takes you a couple of tries. In most videos I’ve seen that at day 10 dpo was the time frame that people have gotten a faint positive and then it gets darker as each day passes.

I had faint positives with my 1st child. It never went dark I tested untill 3 months just to see the dark line but it never happened for me. Very odd. But I barely had any pregnancy symptoms infact I can say nothing at all.
