ok please explain why? when my daily carry is 9mm and i have a 556? you spend the same amount of money and time. why waste it on a 22 when a 22 isn't loud as is? i think that that logic is dumb and will waste money.
love my obsidian9 fde when i got mine and took a good look at the quantity and workmanship i did not want to use it and get it dirty the can is bad ass! but that is what it is for GOOD JOB RUGGED!!
Obsidian 45 was my choice before Rugged offered the 9mm, and even short on 9mm it is really good. I love to run it short / wet, and think it sounds better than long / dry. The weight penalty of stainless baffles is worth it running wet all the time. Can use harsher cleaning methods that work better. My favorite combo for sound is long / dry on a 38 special lever action rifle. It's almost 22lr suppressed quiet.
@@ForceMultiplier it's a silencerco barrel, with interegraded baffles. I can't remove them or open up the suppressor. I've even used hotter loads but slide does not cycle. Now the same can works flawlessly on a 8" pcc so am stumped why it won't work on the handgun
It is awesome. Everything rugged makes is top notch. I have my obsidian 9 over a year and it still amazes me. It is sweet on 300 blk subsonic. On a 9mm pistol, the booster works like a sewing machine. Throw it on a 22 and it whispers with standard vel. Just make sure you use the right mount on the right gun.
@@MS-ew5ee since my transfer dealer is also a gun range I've been able to shoot it at their facility and I love it I already have a 1/2x28 and 5/8x24 fixed mounts for it, only shitty thing is I can never fully hear it's performance at the range because of everyone else shooting but when I get it home I have a nice and quiet place to shoot it.

As much as I love my Obsidian 9 and Radiant 762, I think a 22 suppressor is a must have, first suppressor. Love my Oculus!!

@@MRsolidcolor typically because .22 suppressed is Hollywood quiet, the ammo is inexpensive and .22 suppressors are cheaper.

Mine does not cycle with 115 grain ammo or self defense ammo either. Any ideas.?
What platform are you running it on? Factory or aftermarket barrel? Are all the suppressor baffle keyholes set the same way (the side top holes)?
