As duelists, probably Bakura since Bakura has more alternative ways to win eg destiny board. But then again Marik does really tame the winged dragon of Ra in such a beautiful way. Maybe slightly Bakura. As villains hmmm...maybe about the same.

I lover the part where Marik attacks Vorse Raider with his (weaker) Newdoria. And then when Newdoria dies he says something in the lines of "you fell for my trap, by destroying Newdoria i can destroy youre Vorse Raider" I found it realy funny because Marik himself attacked...
I’m thinking of getting into the yugituber game where the focus is character deck building based on how the characters would actually build their decks with the real life TCG card pool and explain why I think that plus working towards creating a character deck larping format
The Dark Necrofear deck definitely held its ground pretty well against the Ra deck for sure. That’s pretty impressive to do. I feel Bakura’s deck could wipe out pretty much everyone with no problem with a couple more dark sanctuary’s added to make sure it gets on the field.
These two were always my all time favourite villains. The bit where bakura says: ‘I AM the darkness! You’ve not seen the last of me…’ That’s when I knew he was part of something bigger than everyone that we had seen so far.
How is your Ra deck looking since they came out with the new support? I hope you added 3 copies of “The True Sun God” and also 3 copies of “Pot of Prosperity” just for the consistency boost you get from it. Loved the deck you used in the duel, I have a Ra deck myself I’ve been working on.
Somehow, Dark Sanctuary is even more broken in theme decks than in the anime. With no cards to remove traps and spells, the fact that Alec pulled off that game 1 victory is crazy
Man... yugioh would be so much cooler if all decks had just about this amount of "power level". Enough to have good sinergy and combos but still modest enough for you and your opponent to actually play the game and not have every turn be a game of negates
Just throw away all link monsters and make errata to xyz monsters - they should not use monsters which can't be tributed/used for synchro summon. This would remove some staple moves. Plus maybe we should restrict number of hand traps?
It's really fun to update the old decks with new cards! Alec is always entertaining, perfect to pilot the Marik deck, and I always enjoy how formal Paul duels.
This was my absolute favorite episode! Bakura’s deck is sick, I also enjoyed the deck improvements so it wasn’t just a bunch of vanillas beating each other lol. Great duel!
My favorite thing in these duels is when Alec get shocked by a play and momentarily breaks out of character to question what happened. His reactions are just the best!

Usually RL YGO looks boring, but you guys can make it interesting. I love how you explain all of the card's effects in a very effective way. So, I can understand what happened and what you guys are doing. Especially when you play with "unpopular" cards, your explanations are very helpful.

You know, never seen this channel before, and I find everyone that duels uses a PC game for the matches, and I got to say, I really enjoyed watching just an old school battle with actual cards. Somehow, this just feels more satisfying. No stupid ass OTK decks where someone takes 10hrs for their turn and then just wins. This was just some straight up dueling and I loved every second.
Bro that was a great duel! Had me into it the whole time! Out of the 2 I'd definitely have to say marik because he was way more ruthless on sacrificing people to get where he wanted to be.
This was a treat to find as someone who's old favorite deck was a fiend deck that revolved around my Dark Necrofear. Thank you Paul for doing my girl proud.
I always liked Bakura in the series, his shadow games were unique. Also there is a video by mercury falcon, state that basically Bakura is a walking devil man reference, which is a awesome reference. Plus Bakura came back during the last arc cementing his importance in the series. I’ve always thought that bakura made a great villain mirroring Yugi and his bond with Atem, but built the opposite through fear on Ryou as Thief King/Zorc where Yugi and Atem had trust.
Paul is a really good duellist Alec goes this deck isn’t just about ra but when Paul done the combo to stop the monster reborn of ra Alec says I can’t win Bkux that deck is all about ra ..!!!

At 38:13 Necrofear takes control of Ra, but earlier that turn, at 37:02, Alec had used Blaze Canon, so Ra was still unaffected by card effects that turn, meaning Paul shouldn't have been able to steal him :) Great duel, love the personality!
Loved this video! Would love to see an optimized Kaiba deck vs an optimized Jaden deck! Same would go for Yugi vs Zane! I would also love to see you guys take some of the weaker anime characters decks and make them as good as possible (Téa vs Weevil)
This was an awesome match, I really like how you built the theme decks to really facilitate the gameplan of each strategy while keeping it pretty balanced. On a small side note, knightmare cerberus can only target special summoned monsters, so it shouldn't have worked on the 1900 atk volcanic monster.
Maybe you guys should have Mai Valentine's deck fight Cyrus' deck. I know who will obviously win but it would be kinda hilarious to see you guys roleplay as those characters.

I love these types of casual themed duels but my opinion of how the characters would build their decks is very different from this interpretation, for example since only one ra exists in the anime when I build his deck I only include one copy of ra

Absolutely love this! Marik’s deck was my favorite as a kid. It’s what made me love the gravekeeper cards.
