- Old game? doesnt look like it! One of the most awesome graphics PC game ever created. Released in 2007 and still holding up well! kudos to Crytek team who made this!

That moment when Crysis is called an old game...
Well, it's 10 years old this year, so.
Nick Brewer ikr, im feeling old myself
BlueShit199 Siemka, nie spodziewałem się, że Cię tu znajdę :D
OMG JC A BOMB
10 years old wow.... I remember reading computer gaming world (late 2006 issue) and seeing in game screenshots and my 12 year old self being BLOWN away, I thought it was a real photo of a jungle. I bought the game one year later at EB Games, got the limited edition copy. My P4 3.0 laptop with a geforce 6800 was getting demolished but I had fun playing the game. One year later I got a real gaming pc with a q6600 and dual 3870s, played the game on high settings at 30fps 1080p and was blown away yet again lol. Fast forward today almost 10 years later, I'm playing the game on a 980 Ti at 4k 60 fps, crazy how time flies man
This game's graphics were from the future
Still one of the best to this day. :>
+Gorre Not really, no.
Yeah it was way ahead of it's time at release.
It's true. 10 years ago this game looked as good or even better as new games released today. Something has been putting the brakes on graphics development in the last 10 years, and I think it was Playstations and XBoxes.
its called intel monopoly...
ah crysis.. this game was one of the main reasons why my old laptop's fan melted XD
LOLLOLOOOL
Lol my step-brother had the same thing happen to him if I remember correctly! That's crazzzzzzy right!?
LOOOOOL
😂😂😂😂😂
After almost 10 years it still looks better than most new games...
In fact, it does not. Looks good, but a lot of new techniques are missing, lightning, screenspace reflections, 4k textures, Ambient occlusion.
uh so all the useless resource hogging stuff that doesn't actually make games look better, except 4k
No it doesn't. They are good but a lot of games nowadays are far better looking
In modern games you have lightning, screenspace reflections, 4k textures and Ambient occlusion, but you have no story, lame characters and 1-hour singleplayer campaign, so...
But this doesn't mean modern games are better than Crysis.
10 years old game that sill looks better then most of modern games. And why is that? Because it was PC exclusive so the graphics didn't have to be crippled because of consoles.
elukok graphics don't matter
Sure. Pacman ftw...
I wouldnt call this better than modern games, not even close
then it should be fairly easy to name AT LEAST 20 games released in 2016 that have better graphics than this.
i dont want you to name me 19, nor 18, list 20 games released in 2016 that look better than vanilla crysis 1.
Not when it was released. The PS3 and 360 versions are essentially remakes. They're not even the same engine
Wow, this game looks amazing! Can't wait for the release.
Use a timemachine and go back to 2007 and buy it at release day!
lol'd
;)
Yea can't wait for November
gggOOOOOOOOOoooooo
The level of detail is still amazing.
The thing that blew my mind the most when I discovered it, were the oil barrels. The non-explosive ones. When you shot them, the oil leaks out and then ater a while it stops. Nothing fancy yet. But then if you then shoot them again above the previous hole, there won't be any leaking, but if the next shot is under the previous one, it will leak. It works even if in the meanwhile the barrel has been turned over. THEY FREAKING SIMULATED THE FLUID LEVEL IN THE BARREL!
This level of detail is something I have yet to see in any other game.
good developer with few money in 2006>bad developer with a ton of money in 2016 (like infinity ward)
(you mean like EA and Ubisoft)
Blaze Master ubisoft graphics aren't that bad, well, they are only compared to 2006 crysis
+Dio Cane ...e per la madonna! Solo un italiano poteva scegliere "Dio Cane" come nick name ah ah, grande.
well ubisoft make good trailer graphics, then downgrade it for release
Greed always prevails
this game's graphics were overkill back then, still look better than many games these days. I don't think the new consoles can do 60 FPS with Crysis at max settings and 4K resolution
new consoles can do 4k? i doubt it's technically 4k, not mentioning 60fps...
Some games they can do 4K natively but others they use upscaling. Either way its usually at medium-high settings, not ultra like on PC.
well i did some research and ofc consoles can have lower framerate, but its not only resolution, HDR is the important thing. For casual gaming it's fine.
Peace :>
consoles broke modern games...
new consoles barely do 1080p
I used to be obsessed with this game back it was first released. One of my favorite games of all time.
Can't believe this was released 10 years ago.
Yep, that is really shocking indeed.
Should be about 2014~2018 years game
this is what happens when you make a game for the pc only you have no restraints
This is what happens when you don't have to make amends for a console port. I love the consoles too , but holy shit i would love to see a PC only shooter built from the ground up with a high end PC specs in mind. This is almost 10 years old. I CAN'T even imagine what the would be able to do now.
You can wait for Star Citizen)
ruski blyat
scam citizen
Waiting for Cyberpunk 2077. Please make it good!! 😭
@@migram4190 hell yeah. Cyberpunk 2077 will be mind blowing for the PC platform
That moment when you start to notice Crysis has flat textures without tessellation. It's finally starting to show its age.
Even to this day, this game looks stunning. I remember when i used to use Crysis as my benchmark haha
Yeah it is so good how it is so open, so interactable. And 10 years aswell
And more than 10 years later now, even with GTX 1080 Ti, the full option benchmarking failed. LMFAO 🔥🔥😈😈😈🔥🔥
Best graphics in 2007
Best graphics 2007 - 2016
Koko the Arabian Well, it wasn't only graphics... gameplay also was pretty good.
graphics were the most impressive feature, game design is also very good
Nah
You mean 2017
This game was like almost a decade ahead of its time. If we were to release a game with as good graphics as these were back in 2007 (~2030, proportionally to 2018), it would be photorealism.
10 years later it's still the best looking game
Well, Battlefield 1 (and Battlefront) actually beaten Crysis at last, after 10 years :D
Frostbite isn't nearly good as Crytek is though..
Actually it is. Latest frostbite engine is really the shit now. They made a lot of improvements. T
Actually Crytek is way more the best. Go look up Star Citizen. They are doing this from scratch and it's DX11 and no console ports at all. Way BETTER than Frostbite. You'll need a beast PC to run it. I have access to the alpha. It's gloriously beautiful!
sk8ernutdw So that's why Star Citizen is migrating to Amazon's Lumberyard engine now and Crytek is closing its five studios, because CryEngine is the best today. Seems legit :)
That game was/is better than real life.
PC masterrace!
One of best things I loved about this game is that badass voice when you switched nanosuit abilities. "Maximum... ARMOR!"
And multiplayer was like Battlefield, just on steroids.
Crysis is the Usain bolt of pc video games. A record that will never ever be broken. This game is the greatest ever and is the G.O.A.T! Their will never be a game where the physics are so real and the feel is second to none and the graphics are untouchable. I still play this game and can play it a million different ways. Please crytek if you read this remaster this game or make a new one!
Warhead was pretty good too.
Ablequerq warhead has better explosions
@Ablequerq, When I got to the end of Warhead after the train roof ride I found weapons stashes everywhere even on Veteran or whatever the hardest difficulty level was called but no-one left to shoot at.
jesus. Video gamers are cunts
s hudson, I have reported you, you little fuck!
The intro to the first Crysis is one of my favorites. So simple and so good. Especially at the time.
How is that not running at 3 fps?
Hehe it's not that demanding anymore guys. But there are quite a few areas where the FPS drops to 35-40.
+PC Gaming Videos Ok, thanks.
crysis is more demanding :D
You get it was a joke right
lol because PC hardware no consoletarded shit here
I remember playing this game at 20 FPS with low settings on my "decent" gaming PC of the time.
The kids nowadays cry when a game doesn't reach 60 FPS... back in the day my definition of "playable" was around 20 FPS and I played lots of games at that framerate... Gothic 2, Oblivion... how the times have changed.
I do that shit now
It's like playing on extreme hard mode tbh, try playing racing games and Max Payne when that first came out. Thought it added to the slow-mo effect too
I cry when a game doesn´t reach 144 FPS for my 144 Hz monitor.
@@DonicMusik my monitor is still 60hz 😂
@@liceafilms
Upgrade to a 144 hz monitor, trust me.
The difference is huuuuge.
After owning a 144 hz you will know what perfect smoothness and picture stability looks like. :D
But be aware. 30 hz will look like like stop motion or a slideshow and 60 hz will look like slow-mo in comparison afterwards and you will never ever go back to less than 144 hz.
2007 ?!... God...
Oh the memories... I had endless fun with this game's physics and the graphics were totally nuts! I also had a 8800 GTS.
Crysis still looks dope. Textures are a little low-res, but the meshes and lighting are next-gen.
The only game i know of that was made before a computer that could run it existed...
anyone else think the Cryengine has the most beautiful graphics (this includes the later versions)
Had 2011's FAR CRY 3's graphics in 07'! That's fucking crazy, and unlike FAR CRY 3, the amount of foliage/palm trees in the game wasn't cut-down. Mod this bitch out and it probably actually looks BETTER than FC3's graphics, that's craazzzzy dude. All cause the devs made it PC exclusive, fuck yeah! See, in 2017 we could be having "2027"s graphics but all these games always gotta be made for the consoles. Smh.
*because most people use consoles due to not wanting to waste huge amounts of money over and over to upgrade a PC.*
I know exactly why they buy consoles, after that I won't even bother reading your comment lol I just skimmed through it really quickly and didn't bother hitting *Read More* . From the looks of it, you took my OP too seriously by accident OR *on purpose* simply to use it as an excuse of some sort so you could vent/bitch about a bunch of stuff you take too personal or something.
(Non-Important shit that I don't care if you bother reading but I only left so that others who come across this OP can read.)
Not saying this is the reason but usually these types of replies I get from an OP like the one I made usually spin off into some bullshit out of *Jealousy.* One time me and some other PC Gaming enthusiast embarrassed the heck out of a guy who made a similar comment somewhere on YT and at the very end of the "chain" a couple of days later, he admitted he was just mad he couldn't afford what we could and so he told us to "go fuck yourselves" right before deleting all his replies.
*Pathetic.*
Anyway, more than likely I'm going to assume (based off the quick skim through your reply) that you said something along the lines of "Game's don't need to look real." at one point (if you didn't then I uh, apologize?) and IF that's the case then I have to tell you, if gaming graphics stayed at the same level forever or for VERY (decades) long periods of time, then what is the point of improving technology like CPU's and (especially) GPU's? There's a reason a company like NVIDIA exists and there's a reason why it's rich. To not want to improve the real-time graphical fidelity of games would be almost like not wanting to improve our brains and the understanding of the things we create and the overall advancement of the Human Species. That would be TERRIFYING. A Mindset like that would even be DANGEROUS IMO. *(Sounds over-exaggerated but if you think about it, it really isn't, because it makes sense.)*
Side-note: There's always going to be some people that will like for game's to stay looking like games and I for one do hope that there will be SOME that will stay that way. *I would hate to have 100% of every game that would come out later on looking like real-life, I think that would get dull fast.* but I think the MAJORITY would rather see most games getting more and more realistic. It's the same thing with big Hollywood Movies, they've improved because of the tech and because the big producers know the majority of people WANT to have the struggle of thinking "Is that real or Is that just CGI?"
To sum it up in 1 (or is it 2?) word(s). We need graphics to keep improving because It's simply... *"MIND-BLOWING."*
So people who game on a PC are either retards, fat rich teens or extremely rich people that have nothing better to do with their life, while console gamers are people who only play games on a rainy day while they are waiting to go climb a mountain or find a cure for cancer.
Boy, you really have it all figured out!
@GalaxyTraveler Um... What? Lol wtf. If that's what you think then sure. I'm 99% positive all PC Gamer's don't actually fit into just those 3 small-minded categories you just made up but, sure...
*(Lmao @"console people only play games on a rainy day while they wait for it to stop raining so they can go climb a mountain and/or find a cure for cancer")* Hahahaha. What. The. Fuck. Dude I'm sorry but that's so stupid. Yeaaaah I'm sureeee that most of the 20+ Million console owner's actually go to climb mountains and try to cure cancer when it's not a rainy day. I'm surprised we haven't got more people who've climbed Everest if that's the case. I won't even go into the Cancer thing, that's obviously more over-exaggeration than the Mountain-climbing thing. *(You ever stop and think maybe it's just mainly kids who own consoles cause that's probably all their Parents could afford? That sounds a bit more realistic to me 8=====D~~~)*
"Boy, you really have it all figured out!" as well! 😂 *(And yet... Somehow I don't believe you just said 1/3rd of the PC Gaming Community consists of "retards")* Lmfao aiight dude. Thanks for the laugh. You made me think of the days when I owned Playstation after Playstation up until 4. (because XBOX STILL CAN KISS MAH ASS *when compared to PS* LOL)
Bounced on my boys dick to this.
- Reply to @GalaxyTraveler's comment where he said... *So people who game on a PC are either retards, fat rich teens or extremely rich people that have nothing better to do with their life, while console gamers are people who only play games on a rainy day while they are waiting to go climb a mountain or find a cure for cancer.*
*Boy, you really have it all figured out!*

You got pretty fired up over that comment. Haha that's pretty funny.
Tata.
2:42 look at how the light reflects on the gun JUUUUUUUUUUST LOOOK!!!!
How was this released in 2007?
That notorious catchphrase: "Yeah, but can it run Crysis?
(Years Later)
With all the latest graphics cards on the market, and all it's patches, .......... NOT ANYMORE! XD
It now runs smooth like a baby skin. XD
Now, awaiting for a new successor for Crysis - A super-demanding game that challeneges GTX1080 or higher.
Arms 3 or ark
Arma is cpu heavy, and ark is horribly optimized
Arma 3 isn't that demanding, ARK either. It can run smoothly on 165$ PC at high settings
fucc, I can't edit my comment. I mean 350$ PC
Watch dogs 2 :^)
To all fans of this wonderful game!
I've decided to play Crysis 1 the first time ever only in 2009 when i had Radeon HD4870 512 MB DDR5, because before that time i could not FORCE MYSELF to play this awesome game at max settings with cards like HD3870, 9600GT or even 9800GT, which were displaying only 22/22/28 FPS respectively... With HD4870 getting a whooping 45 FPS compared to previous cards, i finally had the chance to play this game at maximum settings at 1680x1050 resolution in DX9 mode with minor lags at some places.
I could only dream of DX10 mode, 1920X1080 resolution and 60 FPS back in 2009! They did not joke that this game was future proof, because the first ever video card to do 60 FPS on max settings at 1920x1080 res. was HD7970 GHz Edition which came in 2012 only, 5 years since the release, WHAT???!!! YES!!!
Now i will be replaying the original game after 8 years with GTX980 Ti at 2560x1440 res. at 144 Hz. This will be the biggest graphical comeback of my life!
Anyone else is planing a COMEBACK with revenge after long long years with ultra HD resolutions and 120 Hz monitors?
ive played this in 2008 on my 9600gt 1650 res and high settings with no problem mate . memories ahhhhh
Crysis still looks pretty damn good considering the limitations of direct x 9 and 10.
Even in 2008 though ( I initially played it a year after release), I knew this game had to make noticeable sacrifices that most people wouldn't catch, but you can never look away from once you are aware of them. Such as the lighting and face models, textures and god rays are still great, but inside vehicles and buildings you most certainly run into a lot of "low res" textures. I always thought the inside of the pickup trucks and other vehicles looked god awful for a matter of fact.
Do not get me wrong, many areas of the game hold up pretty well, but sacrifices needed to be made.
To be fair I did modify configs to give a higher level of detail than is available with the menu settings, but on an i7 6700K, 16GB RAM and a GTX 1070, with everything set highest and 4xMSAA, the GPU benchmark averages mid 70s FPS and minimum high 50s FPS at 2560x1440. So I wouldn't say it's really easy to run even now, compared to most games of the era where you can pull out several hundred FPS these days. Even without the LOD tweaks I doubt it would average much better than 60 FPS at 4K on my system, and the minimum would probably be low enough to cause stutters.
Though at least 10 years of technology has progressed to being able to run the game with over four times the pixels, higher settings, anti-aliasing, and still obtain a higher frame rate (I recall when it first came out, having to run it at 1024x768 to get a half decent frame rate on the 8800 GTX).
This is a Game , Remastering itself, with New Tech. Unlike other chunks We got to buy em double time...Played it in 2007 loved it , got to replay 4K looking still fantastic
10 years prior, we've had a game in which the environments were almost fully interactable, with the best physics engine I have ever seen (apart from Battlefield, the collapsing buildings in that series are stunning to look at). Now.. well.. we have Cod WW2.. you can drive some vehicles.. and you can pick weapons off of the ground.. wow
first time i played this game in 2007 on ati hd 2600 pro it was amazing! This game is brilliant
I remember playing it on my 320mb 8800 GTS
damien versa i remember my pc burning while i was playinz it with a onboard graphicscard
9800GT was when i was playing this game then... crazy
THE BEST
Maximum fart. Toilet bowl engaged. Toilet paper critical.
lol
XD
Let´s be honest. Crysis on PC is the most advanced game technically speaking. There was hardly a comp (amongst players) back in 2007 to run it fluidly on max details. Even now when you put some mods into it, you will put a lot of modern games to shame. I think Uncharted 4 is game in nearly the same level of graphics Crysis was. But not a single game can beat this one if you realize the time of its release. It is so fairly made.
Wait...Crysis is old?
This game is almost 10 years old.
Damn...time is going so fast...I still remember playing alot of it back in the days, on minimal graphics
And even on low, it still looked better than everything else at the time.
This year at autumn it turns 10 years.
November 13, 2007 is the release date of this game. So, it will be 10 years old in November.
I'm so glad I played this mind blowing game in 2015. I was like "Damn, this game looks better than anything released today."
the last Proper PC game made :(
BIG salute to all the people involved in making this game
btw which mods are you using ?
Crysis was a great all-in-one package. gameplay, story, and especially graphics. of course im refering to crysis 1 only. Crysis 3 had great graphics, but the story was garbage and the gameplay became like any other half-rpg like fps game with talent trees of the time.
Back in 2007 you had bioshock which was dated even of its time, but made up for it by running great and had good art direction. Then you step into crysis.
First PC game i played when i built my computer back in 2007.
God this game has held up so well. fun watch
NO GAME GRAPHICS HAS AGED AS GOOD AS THE ONE OF CRYSIS!!!!!
Crysis 2 was my first crysis game I've played I remember when I completed the game I immediately bought crysis 1 and bought crysis 3 when it first dropped.. this franchise is epic and i love the soundtracks too
i remember trying to run this game on my old pc XD it almost exploaded LMAO kept crashing for 10 mins at some points ahaha
Haha, was it even a gaming PC though?!
Haha what are you talking about man, this game didn't have high requirements. I remember I played it on my old Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz, 1gb ram DDR1, and some radeon graphics card with 512mb VRAM. And it was running smoothly, like honestly most new games require crazy specs and if you play them on Medium graphics with a good PC they look worse than Crisis from 2007 on high settings. This is crazy.
XD LMAO ahaha
I'm playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat at the moment and told my friend "It received good ratings back then and they were pretty much ahead of others in terms of atmosphere and some graphical stuff and weather etc."
- Just now I'm remembering Crysis, which came out *3 YEARS BEFORE* Call of Pripyat and my heart stopped for a moment.
I'm still waiting for a day to come where another Developer Team grabs that "Trophy" Crytek achieved back in 2007 and push this milestone even further.
Best Game in 2004 - Far cry - still like it, Best Game in 2005 - F.E.A.R. I liked that bullet time and wall destruction, Best Games in 2006 - Clive Barkers Jericho and Gothic 3, in 2007 the new star Crysis came and i played it on Gf8800 gtx =) many years ist was my favorite. And many years benchmarks released on youtube - the first graphics card that killed crysis was radeon 5970 :-D
Half Life 2 and Doom 3 are the best game and have stunning graphic in 2004 too
Insanely over the top graphics. Needed three top tier graphics cards just to play at high settings and still barely get 30fps in some scenes. Never had an equal graphics wise.
Best Crysis of the saga!
Following with Crysis Warhead
10 years old in November! Remember picking up a copy from game, as I was day off and hyped. Only to find my Top spec Pc world Pc with sli 6600GT graphics card played like a slide show. So went out and bought a 8800gts 320mb card also which ran it badly on medium! So I built an intel quad core top spec pc with dual 8800Gtx's! And a 48inch Sony bravia to play it on......and it was gooood!!! That tank battle was the pinnacle! Simply amazing game!
in 2007 i barely played this game with a 6600 gt, and its the best single player fps in my opinion
Im here after the new Crysis remaster announcement and i cant wait how good looking it must be i mean i've never played Cryisi but look at the graphics here
this game is nearly 10 years old and has better graphics than cod
The sheer scale of the environments in this game were insane for the time......it was like playing in a "forest simulator" because the enviroment felt so substantial to walk around in.
This is what happen when you design a game that has no fixed hardware specification to work on.......
yeah, but the game didn´t sell well due for the extremely high requieremnts
plus either gamers dont care about specs or they are too poor: prnt.sc/qdo7b7
underpowered consoles are a thing to make them affortable
plus answer me this question: could you make the PS4 more powerful without increasing his price launch?
Do you realise that this game is 10 years old ? :p
yes BEST GAME EVER
Im Darko The map and graphics designers of Crytech are amazing!
old memories i love this game
still better than 2 & 3
STILL THE BEST GAME
Crysis & Crysis Warhead > C2 and C3
Hey! Major Strickland is the Engineers from Company of Heroes... Man, the memories. Back then I hated Crysis because my toaster sucked running it, but with time I came to understood how great it was and now I feel all the nostalgia. And I look at CoD: Infinite Warfare and I feel like Crying...
Crysis crush today fps games like cod or even battlefield in term of interaction with environment and physics... This "old" game is more modern than this lazy ass games that are released today....
They were way ahead of their time. An outstanding game with awesome and life looking graphics.
This really ambitious game of its time, even now, should not be called "Crysis 1", it should be called "Crysis Extreme",(in my opinion) to make it distinguishable from the other two sequals and give it the justice it deserves.
10 years later I still enjoy it like it was my first time
the moment you realise game graphics havent improved in the last 10 years :'(
thanks for nothing xbox and ps
If the PS4 and XB1 were high end PCs at launch, people would complain the price, not to mention that Sony and Microsoft had to loose a lot of money on PS3 and X360: www.vg247.com/2013/01/07/xbox-360-and-ps3-losses-total-8-billion-ex-sony-employee-paints-grim-future/
so what do you expected, PS4 costing $800?
@SevenRZ Dude if the PS4 and XB1 were high end PCs, Sony and Microsoft would be out of business, i mean they lose a lot of money with the PS3 and X360
@SevenRZ i mean, how Sony would have made the PS4 more powerful without increasing the manufacturaction price?:
www.gamespot.com/articles/ps4-cost-381-to-build-report/1100-6416251/
PS4 is sell by $399, is cost $381 to build
@SevenRZ Just tell me what do you wanted for PS4? How you make them more powerful without increasing the price?
@SevenRZ and consoles gamers are too stupid to realize that specs are important, comparing a PS3 game with PS4 game wont be like comparing GTA SA with GTA IV, due for the Tablet CPU that they used, not to mention that GTA IV just came out 4 years later after GTA SA
this game was already graphiclly ahead compared to most games of it's time and still holds up great today
The only game that comes close to this or even maybe surpasses it in terms of graphics and detail is Battlefront. Too bad Battlefront is a very, very bad game.
Silent Wolf Not bad, just lacking content-wise. The core mechanics are rock solid, and the DLC is great, but should have been in the game day one.
Jana Ranic No, the core mechanics are so not rock solid.
Flying is awful, Lightsaber combat is awful, rolling is awful, AT-STs (All Terrain Scout Transports) have trouble walking over some rocks, and many more things that are just bad in Battlefront.
those are the same problems with the older battlefronts
stefano di toro WTF. No it's not. Flying was much better and more fluid in BF2. You could do barrel rolls, and while flipping you could still steer you ship away from obstacles and not get stuck flying forward and crash like in BFEA.
Also in BF2, once you dodge a missile, it goes away and that's that.
In BFEA, you can dodge the same missile 5 times and it'll just keep sticking to you until it either hits you or crashes into the ground.
Flying is SHIT in BFEA.
Lightsaber combat was wayyyyyyy better in BF2. They actually performed combos and moves, and they wouldn't get stun locked for 5 whole seconds if they got hit.
Unlike in BFEA where they only swing left and right like baseball bats, and who ever hits first wins, because the other guy would just get stun locked and not be able to move.
Rolling worked fine. You could roll forwards and side to side and it was smooth and fluid.
In BFEA, you have to press the crouch button twice, so not only do you go into the crouch position before rolling, which makes it very awkward, but the character also sort of lags into the rolling animation.
It is so not smooth and it's terribly designed.
AT-STs never had trouble WALKING in BF1 or BF2.
In BFEA, I can't step over a fucking branch with it. It just gets stuck.
There are so many more things that are shit about Battlefront EA.
Battlefront 2 is far superior.
i dont have time to read your comment and i like bf2 also more then bfea but its not a bad game
10 year old game still looking better than most even today.
What kind of sorcery is this?
This game looks amazing after all this years!
this game look amazing,..when will it release?
lordzedo22 it was released 10 years ago
😁😁
Remember Crysis Wars and many hours spent on Mesa map with 42 players. Good old time. :(
crysis 1 on mods > any console game
Yes, even BF1 at some point, but its a 10 Years old game so its a bit pushing the limit,
This game is 12 years old...
And I still have low pc for it. I played this game with 10-60 fps with lowest graphics
A mediocre game with oustanding visuals. The triumph of style over substance
The gameplay was far more varied and fun than 95% of first-person shooters that came out in the last couple of years.
Hey fuck you, Crysis is awesome.
Santiago Benegas what are u talking about? Crysis. 1 had a great story, open world complete missions however u see fit philosophy, variety in locations and atmosphere and fast/smooth shooting mechanics. and i havent even mention the badass nanosuit. Crysis 1 is an amazing game on all fronts.
pbluma i find that most people who say "crysis was all graphics" never even played the game. They are just salty consoles still cant match what crysis did a decade later.
Yep. I get it when someone doesn't like this kind of sci fi, but to say it's a mediocre game with nice graphics is just ignorant...
i went through this game on all difficulty modes eventually. It was quite good on the hardest with no crosshairs etc etc. Once you learn the enemies movements and ranges it all becomes quiet formulaic in what you can and cannot do. Mods also made the game more interesting too.
Game is still a marvel of engineering and there are still titles to this day being release that can't hold a candle to this games graphics. The amount of detail that was put into this game is especially for its time is amazing.
It's still remarkable how good this game still looks even today when you consider that this game was released in the early years of PS3 and Xbox 360. Was demanding as hell thought lol.
Crysis to me in 2007 gave me the same feeling when I watched Martix in 1999. When I saw the graphics of Crysis for the first time back then, it just didnt make sense to me. What I mean to say is that how could they create such a sci-fi action game fueled with unparalleled graphics. Jeez I remember some of the guys used nvidia sli to run in maximum resolution. I thought back then that the graphic cards still needed to improvise to run this beast in full capacity. Every time I see new game trailers...my heart looks for Crysis 4, Quake Arena, AVP and many more
i remember playing this game at 2008... feel surreal with the graphic back then
Crysis was made as a meme to the PC peripheral market but ended up being something more, so they called it a GAME!
God it still looks amazing- I remember running this on a 8800Ultra.
Unbelievable that this game is almost ten years old. I never was able to run this game on max. settings.
I watched this and I can't believe how modern was this game back in 2007. CryTek = Genius.
really massive game back then. truly a milestone
Remember playing this on a laptop with ATi X700. I tweaked settings manually and managed to get unbelievable 20-30 FPS on 1280x720 with very nice graphics. Good old times. Almost 10 goddamn years!
Damn! 10 years later this games still looks better than some of "Next Gen" games. Nice Video!
Even in Full HD Crysis still looks better than most of the new games. Well played Crytek, well played.
This game will be 10 years old this year. And it still blows out most console games out of the water when it comes to graphics.
6:55 wow thats a strong melon, didnt even rip xD
10 years later and I still have to play this on low-mid settings
played through that game like 5 times, absolutly love it
Age is nothing but a number, and Crysis is aging gracefully like nothing else!
Crysis will never be an old game. I bought the game in 2007. After 6/7 years I was able to set the graphics at max... I was happy as a schoolboy! (has also a great gameplay, don't forget it!)
Fact: some taps actually work in Crysis
You guys like crytek engine? Check out Star Citizen. Same devs who did Freelancer and there won't be a console game for this one.. this is done from scratch! I have access to the alpha and it's amazing!
how many good memories, such a masterpiece in every way
Someone from the future time travelled to 2007 and then made Crysis.
My computer was about to fucking explode
After 11 years it still looks awesome!
