What an awesome track and it's great to be able to see the cars run at more scale pace than those screaming winged blurs you see in some competitions.

man o man: you’re old 1/24 cars really take me back I ran cars cars like that in 1964 Elmwood park I’ll as you might guess i’m an old fart that just got back in to slot cars. The new Carrera digital sets sure make me feel old but i love them. I have to thank you for a great history lesson.

Wow, what a nice track. I haven't raced since the 60s, and I see now that it's gone digital, and what a great thing that is! What an incredible improvement! We had thought about something like that, but nothing ever caught on. Sweet!

That was cool too see. There's a big difference between these and the Tyco 440x2's I grew up with. I like the Trans-Am style you guys ran, have fun.

You are right Cameron but it's more forgiving than this tense race makes it seem. This was the final run after 25 guys ran heats to get to this one final race. It's really not hard to get used to and when you do the racing is far more realistic. Thank you for following Lunch King. Please forward our work to your friends and family!

Hello everyone this is Jimmy... I just wanted to say that I too regret that this Trans Am final 3 minute race was not presented to you in it's entirety. 2 half laps were edited out due to each drivers zealous shout of profanity when they wiped out. You Tube's disdain for such comments meant editing them out. The white Mustang hardtop which was coming up quickly in third, behind the yellow and blue car fighting for the lead, deslotted on its own just past the Daytona banked curve. 2 laps later, though the blue car's driver had been warned earlier of driving too close to the yellow car, his race ended when his bumper struck the rear of the lead yellow car at a tight turn under the overpass. When the video resumes you can just see the marshal reaching under the overpass to remove the deslotted blue car. In both cases the adrenaline charged driver's remarks had to be edited. Maybe next time we can get Derek to just bleep the sound out and continue the cool and passionate racing for the full length of the race. What do you guys think?

What happened to the blue car that was in second place early on?
Good question ps allen..... Blue car was warned not to drive so close. Then, he rammed himself out of the slot when he kissed bumpers with the yellow car under the overpass. (You can just see the corner marshal removing it from under the overpass just as the video resumes) The driver's blaring curse, and that of the white mustang hardtop which was coming hard in third earlier, caused a cut in the action due to You Tube policing vulgarity....I was disappointed in the removal of those two half laps also! As somebody from 3rd world country who could only dream about this when was a kid. Anybody care to explain to me how any of this works?
1. How the car stay afloat? magnet? or a kind of stick attached to the car? then How to change lane?
2. Does rubber tires have a grip? Does a grip matter?
3. Where's the power for the car came from? How come one faster than the other? how to make it faster?
1: in the front of the car is a rotary connector.
2: grip matters but speed control is key
3: electricity from the copper lanes you see. The cars have movable connector underneath the car.
