  • I have been buying and selling collector cars for two decades. I have settled on a strategy that is very value centric. For cars I intend to keep forever I weight this a bit more toward excellence of condition but value always plays a huge part. I break down the philosophy juxtaposed with my most recent purchase and give real world examples of my philosophy. Will it be right for you? Maybe. Will considering a cars short and long term resale value help you climb the ladder of your collector car dreams? Most certainly. Thanks for watching.

You sold your Beat??? I’ve been very fortunate that people usually come to me and offer to sell their cars. I’m actually about to buy a Honda Beat from a gentleman who approached me at a car show and gave me a deal I couldn’t refuse!
    Good luck with the Bentley
    !

Yes I sold the beat NOT BECAUSE IT WAS ANYTHING LESS THAN BRILLIANT. I am a huge guy. Over 6’2” a bit over 260 and it looked wrong in that car . Kind of like a SNL sketch lol. They are brilliant little cars . Under 6 foot and under 240 would look “scale correct” . Having over 20 cars at a time is a bit much and I wanted the dollars to build a second garage etc. cheers and thanks for watching!!

Modern Boxster S and Cayman, the spiritual successor of what the 911 originally was? Now that the 911 has been living in the Supercar neighborhood especially?

Lucore Auto and LucoreRacing it’s funny. The “other” Porsches have been some of the BEST Porsches. First time I drove a Cayman S I thought “if only this had 911 power, it is a better chassis”. Of course nothing can supplant the 911. They are undervalued and certainly great cars. Some will have collector value. If bought at the bottom of the curve all will be solid buys. Only the earliest 986 are currently at the bottom and rising . Cheers and thanks for watching and commenting !!

I love this series! I felt this same way when buying my Phaeton

Your phaeton is a great example and your investment is protected by not buying “the best” for 30k

Thanks for the video! A Bentley... interesting! This will be the car that leads you to your upcoming XJ220.
