Simply great. You are correct; MOD is not so popular and people always comes up with IF as a solution for most of their challenges in Excel. Thanks for sharing.
I'm running a bit behind on my vids but wanted to react to this one. First of I like the use of true or false to add 1 to the date, learned something new. Second: Being from Belgium we don't use the am/pm style what makes using date/time in formulas a bit easier in my eyes. When I encountered the problem with nightshift I simply used the date/time as total. For example 28-08-18 17:25. If you use the combination if date and time you never end up with a negative time because 1am tomorrow would be 29-08-18 01:00. Keep up the good work while I try to catch up on my backtrack on youtube vids
Respected, Do you have a formula to calculate if daily work counts from 6am to 10pm and night work counts from 10pm to 6am. For example, if I work a shift from 16:00 to 24:00, the formula would calculate that I worked 6 hours a day shift and 2 hours a night shift.
How can you calculate with day shift hours, night differential, & night differential over-time? I'm trying to figure how I could format in separating night diff when it starts.

Tks Mike (My name is Salim) and i have a question
Can we use this formula:

Excelente, obrigado.
Thanks for watching : )
Excelente Mike !
You might be so kind of putting Subtitles in Spanish too, please!!

I am sorry but I already work 10 + hours every day for the last 10 years, and I do not have the expertise or resources to do that ... : (
ExcelIsFun
Ok
I'm going to have to perfect my English, bro !
thanks so much !
How to calculate tat excluding midnight
Thumbs up :-)
Both #1 and #2 have flaws. I don't know about #3. For example, if you start at 1 pm and finish at 2 pm the next day, it will only show one hour.
None of the formulas have flaws if you are using time values in Excel. So I am not sure what you are referring to.
