Kristen is such an interesting character because she literally seems like the least sexual person in the Bad Kids, and Fig seems like the most, yet it’s literally the other way around. Kristen becomes a menace whenever Tracker or Sandra Lynn are in close proximity, for completely different reasons.
I think that's definitely by design. Obviously Ally plays Kristen as a sheltered kid from an orthodox religious family who has just started to explore their own sexuality and break out of the shaming and restrictions that have been placed on them their whole life. It's a VERY real dynamic that people who have historically been sheltered and sexually repressed will go absolutely buck wild when they shake that off. At the same time, they often continue to have a very uncomfortable relationship with sex for a long while and alternate between being obsessed with it and repulsed by it because their whole moral system is rearranging itself. That's why it's very in character that Kristen is always the first one to voice the unspoken sexual questions or bring up sex when it's not being talked about. Meanwhile Emily definitely plays Fig as being a teen who is putting on a facade of being edgy and rebellious as a way of acting out for the chaos of her home life when we meet her and her strained relationship with her parents. The edginess is very much an act, which is why Fig's whole character is built around disguises and performances, so she wants to be perceived as someone who is super experienced and doesn't care what people think and all that, but in reality she very much is not, which is why she is overtly flirtatious and uses sexuality as a weapon but immediately feels out of her depth when she's in a position of even just kissing someone if she's not in disguise, because then it's not an act she's putting on, it's real, and who she really is is kind of a nerd and a sweetheart and sheltered in her own way. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, I just wanted to appreciate how good the roleplaying from both Ally and Emily is, they're incredible

One side of love being a platonic family like the love she has for friends and the fact she tries to keep them together. She truly believes in the power of having loved one by your side. Then there is the um tracker sife that she is very experienced with and clearly enjoys. She also loves getting into others people love lives.

Like Kristen who has no family to go back to, is worried about her living situation because of Sandra Lynn but both Fig and Sandra Lynn ignore that completely. Like Jawbone is great and never would, but real world and Kristen's life experiences? Kristen and Adine could have ended up homeless because of this situation and that is completely ignored. I couldn't watch for five months cause of how messed up this whole thing was and the lack of accountability.

Unsleeping City is also amazing and is on UA-cam for free. UC season 2 is great as well, and so is FH sophomore year and junior year. You see where your money goes too. The dome AND board are amazing in later seasons - most notably in Neverafter and FH junior year.

It’s pretty affordable! It costs like an expensive cup of coffee or decadent slice of cake per month here in my third world country lol. I completely dropped Netflix for it, though. But I feel better supporting this team anyway.
Unsleeping City is also amazing and is on UA-cam for free. UC season 2 is great as well, and so is FH sophomore year and junior year. You see where your money goes too. The dome AND board are amazing in later seasons - most notably in Neverafter and FH junior year.
Almost character from ally is truly at the bottom of my list in every season of Dimension 20, I cannot stand anything that any of them do, say or give as a message, but Gary Gygax as my witness I wouldn´t have the intrepid heroes with any of them missing. They truly are the Dream Team
