I know of Anna Kalinskaya not because of her matches but because she appears quite regularly on Dasha Kasatkina's vlog. She seems such a nice girl (not too quiet, not too bold) behind the scenes and I'm glad she's starting to show results. Congrats!

you don't need to make everything into a culture war. She is beautiful. She gets attention. Overnight, Mirra Andreeva, another Russian, got so much attention. Sponsors are probably lining up to sign her because she's blonde and petite (it's also a little disturbing just how much attention she is getting at 16 years old because of her looks, but that is another issue). She was already the new poster girl of the tournament.
I really wish we could stick to the tennis and not on the vanity.

@@imalwaysright The thing about Mirra is that she is probably better than Anna at 16, sponsors are betting more on her because she can be a superstar multi slam winner. On the other hand Anna is an amazing player but I don't think she will win something big in her career (a slam or 1000). Of course the looks also matter but also some players prefer to remain focused on tennis, honestly with the looks Anna has she could explode in social media if she was more active, it's not that I'm superficial but Anna is probably the most beautiful player on tour, perfect face, perfect body, gentle personality, I mean 🔥
