i personally never smelled aventus, but i bought the esencia this year during my summer holidays in spain. it is by far one of the best smelling EDP´s that i own, and i have a few.
The old Esencia Loewe ,a small dark green bottle was a fantastic scent.

Thank you for lighted up such a jam. Aventus is not the most likable for me but the one i can easily choose as one and only. After your video I went to Sephora here in Krakow to check. OMG. I couldn’t believe. I used more than 10 bottles of Aventus and I am very familiar with not only how it smells but how it mixes with my personality and how it creates a vibe, if it makes sense to say. And this is it.
I spayed on my outer side of hand exactly 8 hours ago. I washed hands for at least 3 times since then. It’s still there fainting. But anyway.
I’ve just asked my daughter to check the difference between Aventus on another hand and Loewe. The first reaction was even not something like it’s so close or the same. The reaction was how good were both. She couldn’t pick up which one is her favorite.

The old botle, that one that it was rounded, was a masterpiece of perfumary, never felt a man scent like that one
I tested the Loewe Esencia today and agree with you. This is the closest to Aventus, quality and scent wise. Miles ahead of all the other clones.
This is such a great video. Your mission really paid off. I too want to find quality fragrances that aren't quite as highly priced as Creed. Esencia EDP arrived yesterday and I'm blown away. Do you have any suggestions for a similar, quality, Green Irish Tweed fragrance?
The description of this fragrance by Loewe is funny, and intriguing. Inspired by DNA, the code of life. Wow, what an inspiration that created the new best Aventus Clone. I got to sample this, and if it as good as you claim I will eventually have to buy a full bottle.

Thanks for the review IFI, Afnan SS is still my fav clone but there are way too many clones and I'm trying to cut back on redundancy in my collection.
Yes, my supremacy not only intense is my favorite and has a huge dent. I have a decant of aventus and don't feel the need to buy a full bottle
I would like to know your opinion on the Elixir version. It is very powerful and changes a little compared to the EDP, the truth is that I am doubting which one to choose, of course, if the EDP is already very expensive the Elixir is even more so, although with fewer sprays it achieves the same performance as with the EDP.
Great review of a niche Aventus clone, but there are few people out there that are reviewing Esencia Elixir which is a better Aventus flanker than Esencia EDP with more concentration longer lasting but for sure with a higher price tag, not by much.
Does it really project as much as the edp though? have testers of both here and im for sure not nose blind , i get more edp,not elixir
I bought it first in JC Penney Puerto Rico… then Macys. Its AMAZING. I didn’t know this was a “clone” … I think it has its own personality. I must test the Aventus then to see what u mean.

Yeah, I was watching this one since its release on Parfumo. Can't say that I'm pleased about Loewe going the clone route either, but I suppose it's inevitable that every brand will have one before long. Bleu de Chanel and Aventus came out the same year after all; so just like every brand needs a blue fragrance....... Glad to hear that Loewe didn't half-ass it at least. I wasn't too impressed with MB's Explorer.
As I much as I like the old style of Loewe, like you said, they need to be in trend so they can sell their fragrances. I was very disappointed by Loewe Esencial, which was their version of the bubblegum/shower gel designer fragrance, so I was really hoping Esencia EDP was very good and not just another Aventus clone. We have a saying in Romanian: “They washed off their sins” with this release
FYI there is an Elixir version of Loewe Esencia EDP that came out this year in 2023. Have you tried it? I could not find a decant sample for it, and it is a pricey blind buy for a full bottle.
Only the edp of the Esencia is similar to Aventus, the edt smells completely different

Its sad because they should have just called it something else. Because Loewe Ecencia edt is a masterpiece. Its an old school green mature fragrance alot like Polo. Why did the have to make the EDP and Aventus clone? Im glad its a high quality clone but why not just call it something else?
For me it was close to Montblanc Explorer. Depth was missing for me, to be on par with Aventus, when I tested it in Sephora.

It’s the cap from another bottle. Which is a couple of years older. I have the new cap as well :D

This smells great, you can tell the quality but I am getting very little performance. I have tested this by spraying my shirt, leaving room and coming back after few hours. It’s non existant. And I doubt its being nose blind.
price is the only thing that makes aventus special otherwise nobody would've cared about a $30 scent 😂😂😂
It wasn't just the price that made aventus special. Until you have sampled an older or good quality batch you won't truly realize how special Creed Aventus was. I have not gotten that experience in the newer batches. The way the older batches smelt wanted people to buy the fragrance. It had that wow factor within the 10 years it was released. People just buy it now for the hype, compliments, and just have it as a trophy fragrance in their collection. Creed Aventus originally lasted, and made you the most best smelling man in the room consistently. Now it is watered down, and missing that magic it used to have hence why so many companies have cloned it trying to bring that quality experience back to life.

Thanks for your video. While searching for this fragrance I found 50/100ml of Loewe Esencia on Notino and also 75ml bottle of Loewe Solo Esencia elsewhere. Do you know if those are the same fragrances? Bottles look exactly the same.
They are different. The name has confused you. It is Loewe Esencia and Loewe Solo Esencial, two completely different fragrances from different lines. Cheers!

Folosesc Loewe esencia edp de vreo doi ani, de când era în sticluță verde mai bombata, înainte de rebranduire în noile flacoane și ma întrebam dacă parfumul din noile sticle este identic cu cel de dinainte. După descrierea pe care ai facut-o se pare ca este același edp, nu a fost reformulat. Ceea ce este o veste buna pentru ca ce mai am e pe sfârșite și vreau sa-l cumpăr iar.
Salut! Esencia EDP a fost si el in sticluta bombata inainte, dar era de culore neagra. EDT a fost in cea de culoare verde. Esti sigur ca ai EDP si nu EDT?

Been looking for a high quality niche alternative to Creed Aventus. The so called niche alternatives people in the fragrance community talk about don't have that wow factor that I experienced in an older batch decant of Creed Aventus that I did not even realize was an older fruity batch because it was not listed and I did not ask the seller when I bought it was just enjoying the scent. The juice was yellow, and seemed more concentrated than the current batches of Creed Aventus.
The thing is that Esencia EDT was released 20 or 30 years earlier than Aventus, and Esencia EDP is just a flunker of Esencia EDT. So which one is a clone?! ))) Come on guys, stop being ignorant!
Lol a "flunker." You can't call Aventus a clone of the Loewe just because the original Esencia de Loewe, which smells absolutely nothing like it, came out in the 80s.

Esencia is great, but sucks at longevity.
Bought beard products from Notino, and they sent me a free demonstration like the one you have in your hand of the Loewe Esencia. I used a lil bit of it for the first time today, and im surprised of how good it smells. Dunno if it is similar to Aventus, because i never smelled Aventus. But i now want to buy Esencia. It is no cheap at all. Im in need of a signature scent, maybe i will spend a bit more money on this one, cuz it is in fact, very pleasent and masculine. Im considering it right now. You think it is worth the money? Are there identical ones but cheaper? Congrats from Portugal.
With What i absolutely dont agree is, to say that the esencia is a clone of aventus. It is an own fragrance to me. I now smelled an actual aventus batch, and i dont like it.
Damn aventus is not all that.Just buy club de nuit and I promise you get more compliments then any aventus
