Great video well put together, kept my attention and I don’t even have this machine 😆 Good upgrade, like you I’d be a little worried about low hanging branches ripping it off. Might have been good idea if they designed it facing backwards just below the roof line so trees would clear it.
@@ScotianOff-Road Appreciate the feedback buddy! I'm still learning this UA-cam thing haha. Yah it's such an odd design... Wish it was more like the Defender XMR setup
I’ve got this snorkel installed by the dealer from new and went for a swim on the weekend, clutch got wet and was stuck after a couple of water crossings. I lost all drive but was good once I was pulled out of the water. The drive housing exhaust lets water in and needs a snorkel too for deep stuff.
@@milesabove5259 yah I mention that in the video that I still need to snorkel the CVT Exhaust. Have you snorkelled yours yet? It dumps under the rear seat which is dumb.. I'm going to run 3 inch ABS from there up to the rear bed. That's lame if the dealer never explained that to you... It's dumb that the snorkel kit only does the CVT and Engine Intakes...
Good little video bud, with the back windscreen is it a factory one, ?. And by fitting the back windscreen, Do you think it lowered the exhaust noise level in the cab as you are tracking along or no difference you think, ?.
It's a SuperATV rear windshield. And no I don't think so.. I never noticed a difference with the sound. The main issue I think with the noise and the hear is that the CVT Exhaust dumps under the rear seat. This should be relocated and at least snorkeled to dump under the rear bed, if not snorkeled up higher like this factory snorkel. That would eliminate that CVT noise and heat that is so loud in the cab.
Could you give more information on the part #'s for this intake? I live in the US and want to get them but can't seem to find them. Would you be interested in shipping some to the US?
Your best bet would be calling a Canadian Dealer near the border and seeing if they would ship you a set as they would get better deals on Shipping then I would. The part number is SKU5HY#-803000-1200 - hopefully that helps. I find that so odd tat they aren't available in the US..
