I'm 10 years old and I model, I'm a bit more intelligent then other kids my age, and that's why I chose to model, I do it quite well in my opinion, and I believe im on my way to becoming a master in this art. Your channel is great and inspiring, great work!

Excellent job on her. Truthfully it doesnt matter what people think about your drinking. You dont sit there and get drunk or anything. They are not buying your booze either. You build nice looking models and thats the point of people coming here. I would like to see you build a large wooden model ship. One that I can follow you along building. If I need to buy you the model let me know. Thanks for this video. Take care

It does look like a lovely kit to build so based upon this video I bought one. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and post this. Incidentally, upon checking my stash, the Revell 1/48 Sopwith Camel is also a reboxed Eduard kit. Bonus. Regards, John.

Always a great 34:12 minutes spent watching your work, Alex.....great job....so much interesting commentary and an easy watch. This video has come just in time as I'm currently building a 1/32 scale Ni 17 and was getting stuck so you've reinvigorated me to continue again. BTW...thanks for your Bartsharp recommendation.....bought a 186....brilliant!!

A beautiful model. Alex, your videos are very informative and relaxing. I don't think I could do mud splashes on such a beautiful aeroplane! Tamiya bare metal silver is very close to aluminum pigmented fabric. Also did you know that the vulcanization process was different back then ? The tires could be Gray or even pink! As for three scotches and a knife , well, your a brave man! I'm kidding always better to model when you are relaxed. Good video. I loved it!

Nice build.I believe the Revell kits may be a reboxing of older Eduard kits, which are good, I read that somewhere. for mixing I mix both paint and thinner in the cup using a disposable pipette to draw the paint and thinner together, push it out, do that a couple of times. (credit to Steamgeezer and son for that trick)

First off, you’re a terrific modeler! I love how you got mud splatter with an old toothbrush. Very cool! Second, nothin wrong with scotch, but I’ll stick to bourbon. As for how much you drank, it’s nice that you made it humorous, but to my way of thinking it’s nobody’s business how much you drink. As for drinking and driving, I wish the drunk driver that hit me head on would’ve taken that advice. It cost him his life and damn near mine. Anyway, enough of that, your model looks fantastic and thank you for sharing your skills and your build!

Great work Al, loved this video so many tips etc. I contacted Bartsharp to enquire about doing a review etc they got back to me which was great but once I think they saw I only had so many subscribers I heard no more which I thought was pretty poor as it says to me they only mix with the higher classes so to speak but that's just how I felt. I'll be sticking with my Harder and steenbeck. They do look nice and good for the price. Sadly I'll never know. Lol. I hope you are OK and your family

Nicely done. I have two questions: when you are joining the top wing to the rest of the assembly it looks like you are using a glue other than plastic cement? Is that CA glue? Is that better at this point? And 2) what are you buffing the painted wing with?

Don't hold your breath for a response from Revell. I once bought a boxed set of two locomotives from them (kit number 02158), and instead of sending me the parts for the 2 locomotives, one sprue was missing and instead was doubled from the other kit, so I could only build one of the models. My e-mail to Revell regarding the issue was completely ignored.
