During a charity fundraiser a non-profit organization and hundreds of guests are taken hostage by the group Death Wish. While the hostages are forced to part will every penny to their names, their greed and disdain for the suffering of others comes to light.
A Donation To Those Less Fortunate is one of many short stories in the book The Reset, which is a part of the Shelter series where the world has ended due to the disappearance of all the world's cryptocurrencies.
