Patrick Brown FDNY Yogi

Captain Pat Brown was a legend in the FDNY and also a Yogi, who, along with his men of Ladder 3, died in the North Tower on 9/11, refusing to abandon a large group of severely injured people. Here he shares how yoga helped him with the stress of being a firefighter.

I was on a ship with Patrick during the Viet nam conflict.we were on the San bernadino .corporal brown was in charge of 12 engines, Patrick was good friend.new York lost one hell of a good man,l know because I was one of them engineers and am very proud to have known him.

This man was the example of a true man I served in the marine corps and a firefighter for 31 years but he was way beyond that he was the definition of a true man god bless him may we all find the true meaning of life before we pass on .
