- SRX Altered "Banpreios"' default BGM from Super Robot Wars Alpha 3.
As if SRX wasn't deadly enough with two psychics and a badass normal at the helm, now there's three psychics, a badass normal, and an alien clone lady.
What I love most about this track is although it can sound dorky or outdated. It does so deliberately as it captures the true sense of what made a robot 'super'.
They're not mass produced tools to be used and forgotten. They are heroes made out of steel.
The actual name for Banpreios just dropped.
BANPReEOTH.
This song tells you that the day is getting saved, no matter what.

作曲はマジンガーでお馴染みの渡辺宙明先生です。

実は作曲がマジンガーなど「昔のロボットアニメ」を数多く手掛けてきた渡辺宙明先生です。

Just got the SMP kit, this played in my head the whole time unboxing it.
I can't wait for this to get in OGs! It's going to be so badass since it wont be rushed out too quickly and has been getting a ton of data/work over all the OG games!

@@Retto420 Given whats happened its a certainty. I'm more curious if Banpreios in OG will still be a single unit or will we see it seperate into upgraded R units? That'd be pretty cool to see.
@@GinraiPrime666 if I remember that right from Alpha 3 Plot, Banpleios can no longer separate because it takes too much toll on the machinery parts, so they stay permanently combined.
@@irfanburningowl Thats true, the devs and writers have been known to make alterations to the plots for the OG games so it would be a nice change of pace to see Banpreios seperate into the individual R-Units this time around in 3rd OG.
And then now already 2021....
Banpresto, as a toy company, has just been absorbed into Bandai Spirits. This means Banpresto no longer exists, neither as game developers nor as toy company.
But in Banpreios, their burning-hot soul lives on! I can't wait for its inevitable return in 3rd OG, and with it, Gaun Genocider in HD.

This song helped me max out Great Mazingers weapons in SRW Impact. Great is(currently) now the most powerful mech that ive got.
I just noticed, this music reminds me a lot the Godannar opening.
this sounds like a remix of soul of steel (theme of srx) powered up by every single super robot power source in existence i cant wait to see how banpreios is going to look in the next original generations game

第3次αのバンプレイオスが滅茶苦茶強かったこともあり、30でもという気持ちはあります。
まして戦闘BGMがスーパーロボットを語る上で欠かせない宙明節なので尚更「なせ参戦しない」と思ってしまいます。

I swear to god If you wanted to you could beat @3 with just it alone due to how freaking awesome it is...
Then again the OG mecha when fuse seem to always turn into overkill supers, even when apart they are very much reals...And that fact alone still surprises me.

You are right!. Because Michiaki Watanabe is the composer. he composed Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Dangaioh, Iczer-1 BGMs!

@darkmirage0 On SRW Alpha 3, the Banpreios was launched asap, so, to prevein malfunctions, they sealed R-1 Altered, R-2 Altered and R-3 Altered, in order to make a giant robot untransformable, but with lesser defects. And this version of SRX is so powerful that it needs two T-Link contact, so only Aya Kobayashi or only Mai Kobayashi cannot use all the power of SRX without using T-LINK powers in conjunction.
How I think part of the plot for Banpreios appearance would go(including Fury storyline):
SRX gets Larseilam'ed, Ja-Mu (and probably his minions) beats the crap outta SRX so much by the time Toya and/or Calvina arrived and stops Ja-Mu with Larseilam Canceller, SRX would be in a state where normal repair is impossible.
Boss949 I wonder how the J originals will be handled. maybe it will be Vorlent without a girl, and one of the other 3 originals based on what girl you pick?
maybe they'll dump all 3 units at once? hopefully Vorlent and Raftclans will be playable at SOME point. maybe with a combination attack with Daizengar?
BlitzkriegOmega The idea I always thought wold be good was to have Toya in the Granteed with Melua, Calvina in the Belzellute with Katia and somehow have Tenia out of commission some way. And then add the Raftclans with Tenia and have the three girls be swappable as subpilots.

...eh, not the first time Banpresto did things with the GBA series I disliked.
Larseilam is a fury only ability and Touya is the main character it would not make sence in both gameplay and story , becides the Granteed Draco is like the Neo Granzon, both are overpowered with unique abilites, but in SRW OG MD did hint that there is a nother type of enemy who trying to get rid of TK powered mechs (one stage you are just attack by them,then you never see them again) so the next one would make sence introduce the SRX Banpreios

The SRX team got a bit too confident in their super robot, which is exactly how they got their asses handed to them when the Balmarians came and wrecked the SRW, and they KNEW exactly how. Moral of the story: No matter how powerful your robot is, don't get too comfortable

Haven't played the game but wasn't it more that their superiors either cut, or had their budget cut and the SRX was fighting massively outnumbered? As well as the enemy having info on it.
Because they used the formation too often, it gave the Balmarians time to study it's transformation system, and they deduced the Tronium engine is vulnerable to be taken by force. Didn't help by the fact that the SRX was decommissioned by the higher ups after the first conflict, only to be recommissioned hastily when the main Balmarian fleet arrived, they didn't have the time to address the vulnerability of the engine, this allowed Balmarian's special forces to weaken the super robot and in the chaos forcibly decoupled the Tronium engine, taking Aya captive as well. Without her maintaining the T-Link system the formation cannot be kept upright, and the remains became a sitting duck
War God Demonbane is overkill. If it was allowed in, we'd end up with TTGL/STTGL and the Getter Emperor as well, creating a trinity of Incredibly Large Mecha. Except that'd be awesome anyway.

今のスパロボに意欲が全く無くなったが第３次αはシナリオ、人物、ロボ100％周回やりこむまで最高の作品だったし話の展開も熱い所も多々あったりと神やった
第三次α以降、バンプレイオス見ないよなー。やっぱ強すぎたのかなあ？

thinking how SRX got massively upgraded in this one, makes you think. can it go any further? because a tronuim super buster cannon aint enough for me. honestly. i want banpreios to arm the hiryu kai next. if ryoto and rio can do it with the AM boxer and AM Gunner, why cant SRX and the hiryu kai. or even better, the hagane. hmmmmm. oh that reminds me. on the PS2 version of SRW OGs, ive already grasp the twin system, where you stack 2 units and both of them can attack. now here is the question, i saw a 4 unit attack in the PS3 version, is that possible in the PS2 version? if it was how?

It cant. basically storywise Banpreios was still in development, but the universe was about to die and so forth, so they rushed at least getting the combined mode operational.

No, ART-1 is a test unit used for a future mass production it lacked the ability to combine and has simplified weaponry.
@DarkvindFromIllier No need, Ryuusei can just form a T-link tonfa for the Banpreios if he feels like it. But for now we'll just stick to the T-Link Blade Knuckle.

SRX自体がかなりピーキーで、常に念動フィールド張ってないといけなかったり、トロニウムエンジンの管理がめちゃくちゃ大変だから、バンプレイオスはともかく、SRXの方誰のせんの状態になりそう
