What can i say :D Thanks for that! I think the analysis is consistent with what was happening in our heads and plans. Unfortunately, in the final due to stress, my technical level dropped significantly, so I am not satisfied with the quality of most of the actions. I can tell you what is this "whatever this is" i called this "drunk polish nobleman with sabre" and suprisly work so well xD it helps me relax during fight it changing the tempo and allows me to setup ataks. I am not a classic saber fighter because, 98% of my training is focused on the longssword. Again thanks for nice video it was a suprise.
Oh cheers! Yeah its always hard to be 100% sure to know that Im reading the intentions I am, its good to have it more or less confirmed. I'm going to do more of these, they literally take a third of the man hours of my previous epee videos just because of the bout length being so much shorter, Im glad you enjoyed.
@@theprinceintheforestsepeee1113 but i am not sure if u will be enjoyed to watch more hema xD. I will totaly agree that hema is same double hits as olymipic fencing or even more. But reason is easy, we are less trained, less experienced and still working at proper tranings systems moreover we want to fit into historical sources. Many people traing weapon fight from histrocial sources but they don't understand modern fencing and fencing/fighting at all. If u want we can disscus more at priv ;)
Two points to think through, just a food for thoughts: -those moulinets by Zakrzewski could not be closed by thrust with oposition, t(h)rust me on that ;) Those strikes with quite a big amount of momentum, thrusting this would most likely result in doubeli hit if not even loss of points. - secondly, there seems to be judgding error in 3.38, imho in polish rules it should be judged as doube hit.
@@zallandor they absolutely could be, just not in the highline where agreed they would lead at least to a comfortable afterblow. However, a lowline thrust jams them up bc no momentum changes that as you find their weak. I am not sure of the rules issue but I try to avoid commwnting on referee mistakes as a matter of principle.
@@kinoru580 Its a good question. They do keep a guard its just retracted 3 with momentary changes. I have noticed its a general favourite in HEMA comp sabre and Im not fully sure why its so common in that scenevbeyond it being the most comfortable retracted guard and wanting to avoid giving early arm target.
