the funniest thing the anime / manga could have done, is that at least some of them start imagining him more faithful to how he usually is even if only near the end of the story
and then the one time Teruhashi thought to herself she wished he were there even if he would just grumpily sit there with a blank look on his face. the one time one of his friends showed real appreciation for the real him.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Mr. Jewell at Katsu this past year and he was so so kind and an absolute sweetheart. I fangirled a little, admittedly, but he's one of the many dub actors who had a MAJOR impact (I grew up on mainly Funimation for going on 13 years now, I'm turning 28 in July) because all of the anime I watched was dubbed. And it was, WOW, who would have guessed, Funimation! But anyways, he is literally so so nice if you ever meet him he is v chill so there is no need to be nervous. Jerry is very talented, and I can't wait to eventually meet again when I get to go to a con he goes to in a year or 2.
