Project 'Camel' 1989 Fiat Panda 4x4 Restoration

Fiat Panda 4x4 restoration project undertaken by Nicholas Mather a.k.a Crashtest33 of the Fiat-Forum between July 2008 and July 2010.
Upgrades include a 1.2 8v Punto 75 engine with a 4kg Flywheel, Maxsport RB1 tyres, a shell strip by Surface Processing Ltd. and a respray by Barkway Service Station.

OMG! What a nice job! I did a similar (but less invasive and expensive) restoration, but with less efforts and I perfectly understand what amount of working hours are needed in order to get this level of car... I have a question: what tire size did you used? It looks like that they are not the stock 145R13... :D

No, they tyres are Maxsport RB1 rally nobblies.
Can’t remember the size. Little bit thicker with a larger profile if I remember rightly. Was 10yrs ago!!

Léo I used the engine & loom from a Punto 75. My flywheel was a billet Panda flywheel from Rakeway Engineering Ltd.

La Seat fece la Marbella (che io ho posseduto) dopo, se non sbaglio, aver acquistato i diritti dalla Fiat. E' molto simile alla Panda. Si distingue per alcuni dettagli veramente insignificanti, tipo il faro leggermente più arrotondato agli angoli.
