After watching his astoundingly destructive world tour as VP, I suspected that it could be this bad or worse. Those eight years set the stage for a lot of misfortune.
I told a big Dem donor in Texas I have been friends with for a decade that he would see failure after failure for the US and that it was all by design and would keep getting worse. He is still voting Biden so know you can’t fix the brain damage caused by the media.

Yet we were to believe that ha won the popular vote? Its a small wonder that so many were willing to suspend rational thought and simply accepted this as reality. Millions of votes appear within an hour to overturn an election that all media had called and we were supposed to buy that. I only slept for an hour and the world went crazy.

We've rarely been good at diplomacy for a very long time. Lederer and Burdick tried to warn the general public through the novel The Ugly American in 1958. Our "diplomats" don't speak the language (you think Rahm Emanuel speaks Japanese beyond 'konnichi wa'?), live there only grudgingly (want China, settle for Burma), won't engage their respective powers in a meaningful way, and never, never go down to the street to get the perspective of the common citizen (the embassy was like the last to know the Iranian revolution was in the air). And when we do have competent regional experts and embassy personnel, the powers that be in D.C. ignore them. No one should be surprised at the results.
I got a lot of flack in college in 2002 for saying the US should absolutely not be still doing the regime change thing, because the US will never actually do the job. The only reason we stayed in S Korea, Japan and Germany was out of fear of them collapsing to the "Red Menace". Otherwise, see Philippines, Iraq, Iran, Cuba, Haiti, and dozens of other times we unseat a dictator, say "you are a democracy now" and are surprised when it does not work.
The history shows it takes plus or minus a century... plus massive migration and open borders... to realistically change a culture. Like is happening to the US now. Give it another 20-30 years, there will be major Islamic enclaves in the US, like are in parts of the EU. The US never sticks around a century. Heck, we are only coming up on the 250 mark ourselves. We are not going to transplant masses of Americans to a third world country, set up a realistic alternate government, or any of the other dozen steps that built Israel, India, the African and Latin countries... and I honestly think at this point the US could not pull it off if they tried.
And even when we have a good leader for diplomacy like Trump has was lied to by a diplomat about how many troops were in Syria. The head can't act well based on lies the eyes tell.
