When I am listening to "In The Marketplace", this song brought my memories back to great time two decades ago. Marketplace somewhere around South America, crowded, main spot in small town where I went to meet folks, talk to them, buying a fruits, emotional situations, love ect., Great era has gone. It was so different from this health crisis. I miss those times... Oh Lord, give us force to fight every day.
Saw Masekela's group around the time of this album's release in Boston's Jazz Workshop. The music was so new to my ears. Two great shows and I was back the next night.
Calming and relaxing music especially if you have a lot going on. I'd buy this album just for the cover because I have a childlike heart for looking at happy elephants.....

Masekela has another great album called The Boy's Doin' It which is worth checking out as well.
Market Place mmmmmh!
Brilliant album, some of Hugh's vocals seem like he influenced Peter Gabriel at some point?
