Just got my FM9 and started using it for our P&W team. Always been a tube amp guy, but this is an incredible sounding and versatile modeler!! Great job - tone and playing is excellent!!
Sounds AWESOME!!!! I run media at our church and am a guitarist myself. I had an Axe FX 3 and moved to a Kemper but man your sounds are spot on!!! Im on the wait list for the FM9 and can't wait to get it!! Do we have access to these patches??? I would Love to have them!! God Bless man you ROCK!!!!!
@@GuitarMyke Most of our church players are Kemper users. Thought I could just be able to switch over and make things easier having the same floor unit and have that consistant tone? Very much kicking myself in the butt!! LOL But im getting very very close to my invite for a FM9 and I have zero intention of selling it!! LOl I regret it very much.
@@leofrombakersfield I don't sell patches. You might ask the creator of this video- I am not him. Also, Austin Buddy sells many good patches as does Leon Todd. You can also find songs with names of common songs you might like. It makes dialing in your tone very easy. The FM9 is outstanding. I am still learning it. Picked up some tricks so fat like how to dim all the lights and change some settings but I have much to learn. I might sign up for Cooper Carters 15 hour FM9 class though I found a free series on YTbe I might try first.
Very nice! I'm on the list for an FM9 (since October). I broke down and bought an AXE FX III until I get my invite. After using the AXE III, I've been wondering if the FM9 has the horsepower to pull the delays & verbs us P&W players use. Your vid helped me with that. Thanks!
Plenty of power (but who wouldn’t mind a little more? 😅) On my main preset that all of these built from, I’ve got: compressor->volume->pitch->two drives->chorus [or trem or vibrato or rotary]->two delays->reverb->two amps->cab with two UltraRes IR’s->2nd reverb.
I got on within 20 minutes and got it back in September. They got about 20 hours into the lost and ran out and haven’t shipped one since :( These global supply chain issues are ridiculous, sadly. Hang tight! Hopefully they start shipping again soon and it sounds like you’ll be among the first to get one when they do.
Oh man, I wish I could tell you haha. I combined multiple Fractal cabs and even mixed in some from other software and added processing to the result. It’s… all over the place haha.
Kinda' funny how some churches (many, actually) now have 1-2 hours of concert-style ("Alt. style") music, and then a mere half hour of actual Biblical content, prayer, healing, etc. Not trying to be antagonistic... just wondering if some people would rather be entertained than get solid, God-led worship/teaching, and spirit-led services? There are plenty of places outside of church for concert-style content... even christian concert venues. Time is moving on... the world is getting REALLY bad all of a sudden. Maybe consider listening to God and his spirit a little more than entertainment? I know nothing about the church service I just witnessed in this vid. I thought it was a standard rock concert when first checking it out. (was actually looking for Fractal FM9 content) Again... not judging, only concerned... VERY concerned. BTW... I'm not an old-school, elderly, church pew-sitter ... still fairly young! But I've been there and done that musically. Been a secular guitarist [professionally] for years (since high school)... that is, until I found my way back to my christian roots and upbringing. Whatever the case... listen to God... NOT MAN!
Hey man. I don’t disagree with most of that. And I actually attend a more traditional church. I will say in defense of this particular event though: This is a(n annual) multi day event for youth only called Serve Springfield. A few hundred local high school students do community service and witnessing projects all day long for several days in a row and we have these worship services in the evening. So yeah, it’s a little more upbeat than what you’d see on a Sunday morning but it’s proven to be a powerful event year after year.
@@dickjonesify Again, not being judgmental... or not trying to be. Like I said, I know nothing about that church or that particular gathering. Nothing wrong with reaching people with the proper message... music included. If it brings them in it's all cool. Cool, as long as they get the "meat" to go along with the "milk" and the most important things are learned at some point. I've seen a few good churches go soft... accepting things clearly the Bible says are not pleasing to God and will eventually wreck people's lives. The "conforming to this world" types of things, I mean. Nevermind what certain practices will do to someone's eternity... that, in the end, is what's most important, perceived as "fun", or not! In this video, I’m using the AC20 and Band Commander in stereo. When I’m using the slide, I add a fuzz face. I use the Blues OD a lot and just cleaner boosts.
Thanks! My amps didn’t change throughout the event. AC20 and Band Commander. When I played slide, I had a little more compression and used a Fuzz Face model.
Thanks! It’s actually an Epiphone 😬 ES-339 P90 Pro in Pelham blue. I’ve had it since it was first released and now they’re hard to come by. I did replace the electronics and made a new nut for it and had to set it up, of course but I love it.
Thanks! We’re not a “band” per se. We all just play on worship teams at different churches and got together for this event. I’ve played with most of these guys for other special events here and there.
@@dickjonesify i named my dog 'Jesus.' He usually sits right in front of my boogie 4x12 and seems to like the sweet jazz inspired prog guitar lines i produce. But when i played this vid, he covered his ears with his paws, groaned and finally bolted out of the room. 🤷🏾♂️
