Wonderful conversation. I enjoyed the background information, it’s always so fascinating to learn a little about how a movie is made, and in this case, also talking about the source material. I’m curious how different the story is to the movie, so I ordered a copy of the book. I first saw the movie decades ago, and was surprised when I watched it last night how much of it I remembered. It really stuck with me. This was a great companion to the article. Hope to see more of these interviews.
