Throughout the years I could probably count on one hand examples of songs where I preferred a "cover" version over the original. "I second that emotion" is one of them. It's Japan for me. "You've lost that loving feeling" by Human League, and "On Broadway" performed by Gary Numan are a couple of others, but they are very few and far between.
