In "How a Stupid Man DESTROYED the World," witness a different side of the Half-Life universe. This original story follows The Gordon, an unhinged Black Mesa scientist, as he succumbs to madness and embarks on a destructive path to wipe humanity off the earth.

@@ninjaguyYT there is still a loophole/middleground. them using free man as a nod to him being free is contradictory to their "bad" english (using The before a proper noun/name). but I think its intentional and a way to make the player _think_ there's nothing more to them saying The Free Man.

This is actually quite comical. The narrator sounds stern and very familiar which adds to it. The use of soundbites is relevant to what's going on in the subject video. I'd love to see Portal done this way.

also there is a crossbow in questionable ethics, back in one of the test chambers. filled with headcrabs and has a big laser that kills everything in the room
There's also a nest of those bugs in one of those labs, can open a little containment window and grab them. I found them helpful with the minefields.

That's what I learned in school. But timelines can be hazy.

Attacking the scientist with the HECU caught me off guard and it cut off so abruptly it gave me a really hearty chuckle.

I recently watched the video of a playthrough documentary of how Gordon can save as much people as possible (impressive results and very wholesome!)

1:53 fun fact: in half-life 1, if you use console commands to enable 3rd person mode, you see that Gordon is wearing a helmet on his HEV suit.

Lets just let this slide, and talk about how underrated this guy is
this is the companion documentary to "Freeman's Mind" that we didn't know we needed

I mean yeah, I always wondered why everybody treats Gordon as a hero. He could've just as easily been portrayed as a villain who plunged the world into disarray - he was technically responsible for the resonance cascade (even though we know he was just doing the manual labor), and while the canonical explanation is probably that Gordon wasn't a sociopath who killed every fellow scientist and security guard he came across in HL1 (I think this theory is supported by the fact there's no friendly fire at all in HL2 and subsequent games, so you're probably not meant to kill allies in the first place, you can just do it for shits and giggles in HL1), the average person would most likely think of Gordon as the reason why the world went to shit. Aliens started invading Earth, then he launched a satellite that inadvertantly caused the Combine to notice Earth because of the portal storms that followed after Gordon kills Nihilanth, and I think I read somewhere before that the Combine used that satellite in order to be able to teleport to Earth and defeat it in the Seven Hour War.
I think the whole Messiah-like status of Gordon post-HL1 is quite unrealistic, and while the science team would know that Gordon wasn't responsible for this by any means, good luck explaining that to the average person.

The amount of subtle humour and sudden humour that you applied all over this video makes me wanna have a couple of beers with you, mate. Not to mention the poetry that the narative is.
Fun fact: Canonically Gordon wears a helmet, but they decided not to depict him with one so he can look cool. The helmet is why he has a HUD and is immune to headcrab latching.

Canonically, we don't know. Marc Laidlaw did receive emails from fans questioning about the helmet thing, and he gave some sarcastic responses, with one saying that it was like a Schrodinger's Cat situation, and another saying he probably lost it because it gave him "helmet hair".

Very underrated soo less like
If you would do a Video liek this about the fnaf series (games 1-6) it would blow up especially with your type of humor. Fnaf is at a all-time high because of the movie and the community is all over youtube crawling for content. You could use shorts to market your humor and quality content that you produce. Me personally would wish this type of video for Minecraft but in the end it is and always should be up to you what you do.

The narration being a mix of third and first person as if the narrator is both gordan and a separate being at the same time reminds me of fallout new vegas, where you meet your own brain and it starts calling you an idiot.
