Personally dont have a super favorite or hate to anyone specifically, but if i have to pick one, i feel Seokjin is the most balanced and fun candidate in the cast to watch for the following reasons: 1. he knows when to be quiet, when to speak, not being so rash or bold about doing things or showing top skills early like Dongjae 2. he understands the game that its a survival game and to not be too emotionally attached, yet still not being very selfish or betray ppl when he can 3. he doesnt need to play the “lets all go together and be nice card” like Orbit or play “pity card help me” like Yumin. He just keeps himself low profile and even shows that he is still comfortable even when left alone at times (like, this dude understands humanity) 4. there are couple surprises from him that turn tides of game and make it more dynamic. he contributes alot but not dictating everything or be attaching along other’s plan 5. he screws up some parts too and he knows it but still learn to enjoy and walk forward, not shedding tears for himself and other people for days. feel free for other to disagree ofc since its just personal opinion. pretty sure this dude is making it to the final 2-3 players if not 1st.

@@sllkp5747Yes he did. He had advantages that had him go that far. Joobin told him about the safe which he later betrayed. He saw what Siwon was gonna play that could win him 10 pieces. He was able to practice because of it. He had the advantage of having the most chips in the poker game. He had an advantage in the finals since and he was able to play against Orbit rather than Dongjoo who excelled at memorization.
Seok-Jin's plan is brilliant. He basically carry the show after Dong-Jae was eliminated because half the cast is boring/passive/followers. Of the remaining players, only Si-Won, Dong-Joo and ORBIT can be considered formidable competitors. He better gets a huge advantage behind this secret door and win it all!
Seokjin n Siwon are the ones who had made this game what it is supposed to be .. it’s not charity it’s a competition n it should be played as one .. Kudos to Soekjin for devising the plan alone n surprising Siwon .. I m low-key shipping them 🤭

As someone who is a fan of survivor tv shows that includes game theory, this move is definitely belongs to top 3 moves of all time. It is right there with Dan's funeral and Russel's idol play on Parvati. Perfect plan, perfect set-up for the plan, and perfect execution. 10/10 move.
the best show i’ve seen for 2 decades…mindblowing, exciting and shows the complexity of society and human emotions.. the best part is that it really shows that losing in a certain moment is not total defeat as long as you stand up, keep your composure, plan your path according to your goal, and keep fighting till the last second. bravo Netflix’s TDP , P.S. ms DongJoo you’re a memory beast..you could have ace hexagon game.. seokjin really deserves this…minor tactics to victory
This is my favourite Clip of the whole show and the moment where everyone realises that Seokjin will go to Prison with Seewon makes me shiver each time. The Music at that moment makes it so good, i was so impressed by Seokjin in that Scene. By then he and Seewon were my favourite, but in this scene i realized i really want him to win. Both of them looking into the safe end the episode ending aaaah such a cliffhanger! i was so mad i had to wait two days to watch further! xD Also the whole storyline of Seewon and Seokjin solving the Cube Puzzle, of Seokjin solving the Safe Code and his Plot of going to Prison - *chefs kiss* it was so interesting to have all this going on aside from the main and prize matches! Him solving the Prison Puzzle in like 8 seconds and gifting it in such a fun way to Seewon was another Highlight! Seriously, this Clip combines all the best moments!
as seokjin had said, after finding out about the secret code, "at least two people cracked the code." either he meant him and seewon or he actually are afraid there is at least another one who cracked it because at the time seewoon is in the prison. so waiting another day to enter prison is bad move. it's too bad one of the good character player got eliminated and seokjin had to do it by "betraying" her. but he made the right call. plus he won't get another chance entering prison with seewon.
Honestly, she didn't seem like a good player to me. Otherwise, she wouldn't have needed orbit as much to get her to that point, because otherwise she would have come out in the second game.

Ahh Seok Jin Oppa! At first I don't know this man, I only watched this because of Seungkwan but he caught my attention in the beginning when everyone was trying so hard to play and then there was him sitting pretty in the corner watching everyone, I thought at that moment that there's something in this man and I wasn't wrong. After that, I kept an eye on him and root for him all the way. He's so smart and sexy. Will def watch Problematic Men for him hahaha

Seokjin should not have been able to see the game when siwon entered the room. That gave him a big advantage because he could prepare himself before, while siwon went into “battle” without any preparation

Orbit has let weaker players survive and stronger ones fall for his mantra which is the opposite of the game and also discarded that mantra when he betrayed that girl and wrote down her number and acted like he couldn’t remember.Dong Joo while I don’t like the fact she is so reliant on the alliance also she comes across very very two faced which isn’t a problem but she hides behind the I’m doing the good thing for everyone and someone has to pay when instead it feels like she just doing it for herself to progress and she is not being truthful with that fact the way the portrayed strong evil group do
@@DonHbankz Is it really that absurd to let weaker players survive till now? Seokjin, Siwon, and Dongjae are 3 of the 5 best players in the game, 4/5 if you add Guillaume. They got a huge advantage after the first game by winning pieces. The only way for the weak to win against the strong who have teamed up is by also working together, using numbers against them. Orbit was actually smart by involving everyone against the 4 who had the most pieces. Orbit, despite being part of the 5 best players, would not win against those 4 alone. Also, Orbit didn't betray Hyesung, she teamed up with Dongjae who they thought backstabbed his new group. He didn't act like he didn't know the number, he simply didn't want to tell her. It's not gonna make a difference after all. For Dongjoo, she's not pretending to do the good thing, she's actually trying to help her team. That's the agreement they all had after all. Dongjoo was insistent on helping Seungkwan since he was at risk of going to jail again. Dongjoo is willing to give her teammates pieces if it means helping them. She willingly sacrificed her turns to roll the dice to let everyone escape prison. I don't understand how you can think she's selfish and does things for herself after all that.
I continued watching this show after reading spoiler that seokjin win(i looked for the spoiler myself bcz i don't want to waste my time watching the team i hate winning). it's sooooo satisfying!! Seokjin win as he should,bcz he's really good at playing this survival game.he's calm,quick to adapt at the new games, know when to be silent(hiding his skills at the first game)and accept his lose when he got defeated at a few game and lose a few pieces. I really like his group, they are all smart and didn't betray eachother unlike orbit group who only know how to rely on orbit

Dongjoo was so cool during the memory game prize match but her teaming up with Orbit and accusing Seewon of being reluctant to ally with other members (even though Seewon approached Dongjoo to work together) is taking me out. Dongjae’s elimination was the turning point for me, when Dongjoo blamed Dongjae and Seewon for failing to present themselves as trustworthy. They forced one member to betray Dongjae; it’s as simple as that. No need to justify it by victim blaming.

People are blaming Orbit's ally for Dongjae elimination but you all forget that it was YUMIN's fault to betray him. This won't happened if she trusted him till the end.

Dongjoo on the other hand is advocating for what the majority agreed at doing, which is helping everyone against those with lots of pieces. Orbit, however, left Seungkwan behind in the bidding game.
@@reyses1x2Dong Joo is a dark horse for me. I think at the end it would be her n Orbit n Seok Jin n Si Won. Dong Joo would have to use whoever she can to be in the final 4. But Seok Jin and Si Won are a hard team to defeat so she’d just have to hope the games go to her advantage. Seok Jin just created himself enemies by eliminating Yeon Woo.
I was so maaaaad at the other team for portraying Dongjae and Sewon as the bad guys, just because they had traitor roles in the mafia game. Like, it was their assigned role that obliged them to betray the others to win. Dongju said that nobody trusted Dongjae from the beginning, but it is not true. The truth is, Orbit and co were scared of the team Dongjae built. Therefore, they manipulated the weakest players, who were just there to survive (not to play apparently😮💨), and used their fear of being eliminated against Dongjae, by portraying him as the bad guy. This way they got rid off the best player... Honestly, I wouldn't be so mad at them if they owned their bullshit game, and were honest about this mass manipulation being a freaking strategy. But instead of that, they play innocent and want people to think that they were truly nice people who where there to help other players against the big bad wollfs Dongjae, Guillaume, Seokjin and Sewon. And this, I hate 😮💨 Especially Yumin, who admits later on, that she deliberately chose to betray Dongjae on her own. Yet she played the victim, saying that people induced her decision. Please, be serious. Anyways, I'm rooting for Sewon and Seokjin. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed in the players no more 😭🙏🏼
@ShayCat Strategically, I understand their motive too ! I would have also tried to get rid off the best players first. My issue is how it was executed. Trying to convince the public watching, and their group, that they were just trying to protect the weakest. When their real motive was just to get rid off the strongest players to win. They made Dongjae a vilain to gather the others against him. They don't want people to think they are "bad manipulators", that's why they hide behind this lame excuse. I just wish they would admit that they manipulated everyone as a part of their strategy, not to freaking "save everyone from the bad guys". That's not true. But because of this, a lot of people trully believe Dongjae is a bad guy. Which is not fair 🥲

Orbit was last one standing beside seokjin solely because his plan worked but seokjin dongjae and seewon were smarter players since beginning and had a better strategy which resulted in seokjin win.
Well Yeonwoo deserved to be eliminated. She was a freeloader in so many matches and when a game meant for her came up, she sucked at it. Hopefully, the secret's going to give the 2 a huge advantage
I agree with your points except the part where Yeon-woo sucked at the game “meant for her”. She actually played well (even helped the others!) and gave the rest a bit of a scare when she aggressively expanded her territory during the first few rounds instead of focusing on getting the standard 5x5 to keep her from being eliminated. She, Seewon, Seokjin (and to some extent, Orbit) made this game entertaining instead of playing it safe.

I think they rather straight up "won" the show by opening the safe. As in, maybe it hides all the prize money that they lost in the co-op games. The episode (and this highlight video) even specifically highlights the end of the co-op game as if it somehow correlates with the secret in the prison.

the way how this player act, it just reminds me with Survivor: Orbit, DongJoo, JoonBin, KyeongRim : the one who controlled the show since start and i usually don't like for YuMin : Floaters SeungKwan, YeonWoo, HyeSung : the one who realized that its being controlled but too late to stood out DongJae, SeeWon, SeokJin, Guillaume : the underdogs that has been targetted from the most of the time

The format of this reality show itself is entitled the devil's plan, where we know that the devil's biggest trick is to convince him that they don't exist. 3. The number of episodes is only 12, where the remaining participants until episode 9 are 8 people, meaning that in the last 3 episodes there must be 7 more people who have to go home. 4. And the last thing that strengthens this theory is in episode 9, where Seokjin finds a secret room that can reveal or provide clues about the purpose of this event. Since Episode 1 I always favor Ha Seok Jin because I watched the Problematic Men. The other participants are fools if they underestimate Seok Jin. Oh well, no more spoilers.

Those Korean actors seok Jin and see won had a good repo in the industry so director rigged it for them to find out the last day prison was available. The 10 piece could have been a game which could have been won by a single player out of the 2 in prison. Seems he knew it would be for 2 players to win. Also the director must have thought it would all go in vain so he let the robot playing the game make a easy move after see won went home. So that the 10 piece bring some suprise element. After all who won't love to see their favourite Korean actors win instead of a Harvard grad with extraordinary memory

It's a survival game show, no matter what happens you cannot hate all the players, you're just an spectator and a viewer. That's why it's called The Devil's Plan cause everyone's a devil for oneself. Plus, they need to add drama obviously.

(1) Sufficient quantity of Pieces to guarantee 2 players a place in the final; OR
(2) Invitation to Season 2 - taking the hint 'Next Year'...
Invitation to another season doesn’t guarantee them much as there’s no certainty if they’d win if invited again hopefully it’s the first
Seokjin should not have been able to see the game when siwon entered the room. That gave him a big advantage because he could prepare himself before, while siwon went into “battle” without any preparation

Orbit has let weaker players survive and stronger ones fall for his mantra which is the opposite of the game and also discarded that mantra when he betrayed that girl and wrote down her number and acted like he couldn’t remember.Dong Joo while I don’t like the fact she is so reliant on the alliance also she comes across very very two faced which isn’t a problem but she hides behind the I’m doing the good thing for everyone and someone has to pay when instead it feels like she just doing it for herself to progress and she is not being truthful with that fact the way the portrayed strong evil group do

@@DonHbankz Is it really that absurd to let weaker players survive till now? Seokjin, Siwon, and Dongjae are 3 of the 5 best players in the game, 4/5 if you add Guillaume. They got a huge advantage after the first game by winning pieces. The only way for the weak to win against the strong who have teamed up is by also working together, using numbers against them. Orbit was actually smart by involving everyone against the 4 who had the most pieces. Orbit, despite being part of the 5 best players, would not win against those 4 alone.
Also, Orbit didn't betray Hyesung, she teamed up with Dongjae who they thought backstabbed his new group. He didn't act like he didn't know the number, he simply didn't want to tell her. It's not gonna make a difference after all. For Dongjoo, she's not pretending to do the good thing, she's actually trying to help her team. That's the agreement they all had after all. Dongjoo was insistent on helping Seungkwan since he was at risk of going to jail again. Dongjoo is willing to give her teammates pieces if it means helping them. She willingly sacrificed her turns to roll the dice to let everyone escape prison. I don't understand how you can think she's selfish and does things for herself after all that.

I continued watching this show after reading spoiler that seokjin win(i looked for the spoiler myself bcz i don't want to waste my time watching the team i hate winning). it's sooooo satisfying!! Seokjin win as he should,bcz he's really good at playing this survival game.he's calm,quick to adapt at the new games, know when to be silent(hiding his skills at the first game)and accept his lose when he got defeated at a few game and lose a few pieces. I really like his group, they are all smart and didn't betray eachother unlike orbit group who only know how to rely on orbit

Dongjoo was so cool during the memory game prize match but her teaming up with Orbit and accusing Seewon of being reluctant to ally with other members (even though Seewon approached Dongjoo to work together) is taking me out. Dongjae’s elimination was the turning point for me, when Dongjoo blamed Dongjae and Seewon for failing to present themselves as trustworthy. They forced one member to betray Dongjae; it’s as simple as that. No need to justify it by victim blaming.
@@rbsan2502but Dongjoo was right tho, even Dongjae admitted that he had the wrong strategy by teaming up with people who didn't trust him yet. People are blaming Orbit's ally for Dongjae elimination but you all forget that it was YUMIN's fault to betray him. This won't happened if she trusted him till the end.

Dongjoo on the other hand is advocating for what the majority agreed at doing, which is helping everyone against those with lots of pieces. Orbit, however, left Seungkwan behind in the bidding game.

But Seok Jin and Si Won are a hard team to defeat so she’d just have to hope the games go to her advantage. Seok Jin just created himself enemies by eliminating Yeon Woo.
I was so maaaaad at the other team for portraying Dongjae and Sewon as the bad guys, just because they had traitor roles in the mafia game. Like, it was their assigned role that obliged them to betray the others to win. Dongju said that nobody trusted Dongjae from the beginning, but it is not true. The truth is, Orbit and co were scared of the team Dongjae built. Therefore, they manipulated the weakest players, who were just there to survive (not to play apparently😮💨), and used their fear of being eliminated against Dongjae, by portraying him as the bad guy. This way they got rid off the best player...
Honestly, I wouldn't be so mad at them if they owned their bullshit game, and were honest about this mass manipulation being a freaking strategy. But instead of that, they play innocent and want people to think that they were truly nice people who where there to help other players against the big bad wollfs Dongjae, Guillaume, Seokjin and Sewon.

Especially Yumin, who admits later on, that she deliberately chose to betray Dongjae on her own. Yet she played the victim, saying that people induced her decision. Please, be serious.

@ShayCat Strategically, I understand their motive too ! I would have also tried to get rid off the best players first. My issue is how it was executed. Trying to convince the public watching, and their group, that they were just trying to protect the weakest. When their real motive was just to get rid off the strongest players to win. They made Dongjae a vilain to gather the others against him.
They don't want people to think they are "bad manipulators", that's why they hide behind this lame excuse. I just wish they would admit that they manipulated everyone as a part of their strategy, not to freaking "save everyone from the bad guys". That's not true. But because of this, a lot of people trully believe Dongjae is a bad guy. Which is not fair 🥲

Orbit was last one standing beside seokjin solely because his plan worked but seokjin dongjae and seewon were smarter players since beginning and had a better strategy which resulted in seokjin win.

I agree with your points except the part where Yeon-woo sucked at the game “meant for her”. She actually played well (even helped the others!) and gave the rest a bit of a scare when she aggressively expanded her territory during the first few rounds instead of focusing on getting the standard 5x5 to keep her from being eliminated. She, Seewon, Seokjin (and to some extent, Orbit) made this game entertaining instead of playing it safe.

I think they rather straight up "won" the show by opening the safe. As in, maybe it hides all the prize money that they lost in the co-op games. The episode (and this highlight video) even specifically highlights the end of the co-op game as if it somehow correlates with the secret in the prison.

"What if" all these challenges are just a trick to confuse all participants and spectators, where the main goal of this event is to guess who is the devil among them or the creator of the game, because this feels strange:
1. Of the participants, all the participants are famous people (10 of them) and can easily get large amounts of money and the risk is that their reputation is greater than the prize money.
2. The format of this reality show itself is entitled the devil's plan, where we know that the devil's biggest trick is to convince him that they don't exist.
3. The number of episodes is only 12, where the remaining participants until episode 9 are 8 people, meaning that in the last 3 episodes there must be 7 more people who have to go home.
4. And the last thing that strengthens this theory is in episode 9, where Seokjin finds a secret room that can reveal or provide clues about the purpose of this event.
But again, this is all just my wild guess. 0:15
and additionally, I just found out about one of the participants, namely Dongjoo, she works as a lawyer at a well-known firm in the US, where the salary for a first year lawyer in the city she works which is Silicon Valley, is around 190k USD/year.

Those Korean actors seok Jin and see won had a good repo in the industry so director rigged it for them to find out the last day prison was available. The 10 piece could have been a game which could have been won by a single player out of the 2 in prison. Seems he knew it would be for 2 players to win.
Also the director must have thought it would all go in vain so he let the robot playing the game make a easy move after see won went home. So that the 10 piece bring some suprise element.
