This is wonderful Lara! I'm so excited to learn this beautiful song. I've always loved Neil Young and this is a favourite. I don't think there's a song on the album Harvest Moon that I dislike. Again, your arrangements are just fantastic. For me, I think the song lends itself to picking. Thank you so much for this Lara 😊💛🌻
You're very welcome Clari! This is probably my favorite Neil Young song as well. Such a beautiful melody and fun to play on uke with the short riff. Glad you're enjoying the fingerpicking!😊
dunno if anyone gives a damn but if you're bored like me atm then you can watch all the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last months xD
I just love this song. It’s been a favorite for a really long time. Thanks Lara for sharing your skills…..I never thought I’d be playing along with my own uke …..what a treat this is! 😎
Amazing! One of my absolute favorites by Neil Young ♥️ Although I’m a struggling newbie, I’ll give it some serious practice. I have a family reunion next summer in Golden BC. Many of us are musicians and will be jamming together all week. I’d love to be able to play this one for everyone. 💞 Thanks so much Lara ♥️
What a beautiful song, I’m embarrassed to say for how old I am Not sure if I ever heard it before. Songs in the key of D or E are not my favorites with my fat fingers, but I would like to try this one. Thanks again Lara.
This song is easier on the baritone and it will sound more like Neil. I'm a fan from way back in the 70s, I got to see him in concert 3x. The best was a small venue near his home in Santa Cruz, CA.
@@lennon1252 Interesting, Amazon changed the description. I've been using this same link for years. The description used to be for a tenor. It's still the correct model number on my tenor: KA-STGE-C
I focused on the patterns for the Em chords but the 4 notes on that chord do have a nice effect. To play this, start with the 7th fret of the 1st string, then pick strings 1, 2, and then 3 on a standard Em chord. Thanks for the question!

Wow, how wonderful that you got to see him in concert 3 times! Small venues are the best :)
Beautiful😍
Thank you! 😊
a very good tutorial as always. Though I must admit I didn`t know this song before. Thought it was "Shine on harvest moon"... Thanks Lara!
My pleasure Andrea!
Can you tell me what model Kala ukelele you are playing? It looks and sounds beautiful!
Sure! The model is KA-STGE-C. Here's the link: amzn.to/2XcWHJC
@@LaraMarkowitzMusic thank you but the link you posted brings me to a concert sized electronic uke. I wanted a tenor.

@@LaraMarkowitzMusic Does yours have built in E.Q. I can't see the top of it in your video. And thank you for helping me.
@@lennon1252 It does. I don't use it in my tutorials but it sounds great plugged in. Sure, happy to help!
❤️❤️
What about the riff after the intro on the higher Em chord?
