When u said Stray Kids had the best stage presence at KCON NY, I entirely agree. I'm a hardcore Pentagon stan and literally only went to see them, but I was at the barricade for Stray Kids and they stole the fucking show so hard I was BLOWN AWAY Every time one of them even came close to the edge of the stage there was a wink or a cute little wave at the fans or something like that, they stole my heart and I've been incredibly interested in them since. Good lord this song has me hooked entirely, they're seriously going places
I saw them at KLUB KCON and had the Hi-Touch for them, but missed their Saturday concert. Even in those small doses they were great. I'm following whatever they do.
i 100% agree that stray kids have the potential to break into the western industry just like BTS! they seem to have genuine energy and passion. if there's a changbin x yoongi collab in the future, i'd die of happiness bruh
I don't really want them to look for validation from the western industry , it all doesn't matter if koreans aren't as into them as internationals are , they would first need a strong and solid fan base in korea and I'm sure they do , anyways just saying :)

Again it's hard to explain but they have a special something that gets you in and perhaps that it's just my personal experience getting into both groups. Stray kids do their songwriting, music, arrangement within the group (ex 3racha). BTS do too (and it's a whole story but bts had previous members who were going to be a part of the final lineup who didn't make it still working at BH and work on their songs so it's kinda like they have more team members in that sense). Idk much about Seventeen since I'm only starting to get into them but they really are on a whole other level with being self producing and self sustained. They do soooo much and why I started looking into them. I respect them so much and they are the whole package!
Vero i heard pentagon is like that too. They were on after school club and jae said pentagon were known for their self producing. I know hui writes music for other artist..hes written a few of wannaones songs which is really cool. PD is the one who mentioned seventeen self producing so that's all i know cuz of PD saying it lmao. I didnt know bts was gonna have other members. Thats cool that they still help. i found out today that minho from stray kids was a bts backup dancer for their wings tour too lol bts stray kids connection lol

I totally agree!! What defines a group is its stage presence and energy. Stray Kids is one of those groups with a very unique energy, and a very unique sound. They are still maturing, but honestly their progress so far is astounding! Also yeah, Woojin really does sound great here. I wasn't sold on previous tracks, but his voice sounds great here.

Changbin really shocked me this comeback (the rest of the album too), Im used to rappers slowly changing and adapting as time passes but Changbin literally evolved in the time between debut and now... his voice reminds me of Bobby but he has this aggressive rapping style that I honestly don’t think I’ve ever heard with the deep and raspy rappers and it’s incredible. Minho grew up physically and vocally and i feel like he has a stronger presence now, Jisung also oozes confidence now and overall it elevates the quality put out. My Pace is incredible, one of the best comebacks of the year in my opinion^^ btw you should do an overall opinion on the album once you listen to it... it’s a special one

I know that Wanna One and Seventeen are huge right now, but you gotta admit there's something special about Stray Kids.
They really are the next in line to be a big group. They have the potential to get a bigger slice of the Global market, just like how BTS is. Though we're still in 3rd gen. For 4th gen probably wait for 2020
I'm really rooting for them and Seventeen. Both of them have something special about them, especially with their involvement in the production of their music, choreography, concepts, etc., and I feel like each group has a style that is distinctly theirs. To me, they both just seem like some of the most genuine and talented groups working right now and I'm really excited to see what they put out in the future.

This song when it dropped was what made me a Stay. It proved to me that JYP wasn't just making some new edgy cool concept boy group. That SKZ had something to them that pulls you into their performances and songs. I dunno if it was their energy or how they write their songs but they ARE the powerhouse group of 4th Gen.

yoo what pd says is so true and entertainment companies you better takes notes, it’s great that you have an amazing debut song but if you can’t live up to the standards for your next comeback or the comeback after that then fame will die out pretty quickly. example uniq they debuted with a song called eoeo and it was AMAZING damn everyone was talking about them back then but their next comeback was kinda a downgrade and the next comeback after that and so on that their comebacks kept on being lowkey unknown and eventually nobody knows that the group exists. a great example of success is bts’s comebacks (not tryna be biased but just think about it) their debut song up until war of hormones were okay but their first song to ever win an award is I Need U and after gaining popularity they made another comeback run & then fire which blows everyone away, then blood sweat & tears which solidifies their status & gains a massive fandom. from that fandom that they’ve gained, those loyal fans will kept on supporting bts until now and so on. same goes for twice, seventeen & blackpink their songs kept on getting better and better with each comeback and they’ve gain a massive loyal fandoms. what i’m saying is work on music first then others bcs without a good music even the most handsome/beautiful-aesthetic music videos-or whatever can’t hold on with the industry.

Like its my first time seeing PD reacting to their music almost whole of the time when he usually commented on the MV. That means stray kids songs is really great. Great debut dont necessary determine group's success. I agree with you abt BTS since they always making great songs afterwards and that really attracted many fans. If stray kids continue making great musics after this, they will surely be on top.
uniq did not debut with eoeo that was one of their comebacks. They debuted with their song Falling in Love in October of 2014 . eoeo was their first comeback and luv again came after that. They haven't been able to do anything music wise cuz it's hard for them to do that in China so they're doing lots of acting jobs. Just pointing this out cuz uniq is not a good example for groups who debut with an amazing song if you're not gonna cite the right song or look into why they're not known as much anymore but I do get what you mean. And stray kids are doing an amazing job at keeping the hype up for themselves so if they keep this up I could so totally see them join bts to attend American award shows and have their music playing on the radio. their energy is no joke and I think american audiences would love them a lot

This song when it dropped was what made me a Stay. It proved to me that JYP wasn't just making some new edgy cool concept boy group. That SKZ had something to them that pulls you into their performances and songs. I dunno if it was their energy or how they write their songs but they ARE the powerhouse group of 4th Gen.

yoo what pd says is so true and entertainment companies you better takes notes, it’s great that you have an amazing debut song but if you can’t live up to the standards for your next comeback or the comeback after that then fame will die out pretty quickly. example uniq they debuted with a song called eoeo and it was AMAZING damn everyone was talking about them back then but their next comeback was kinda a downgrade and the next comeback after that and so on that their comebacks kept on being lowkey unknown and eventually nobody knows that the group exists. a great example of success is bts’s comebacks (not tryna be biased but just think about it) their debut song up until war of hormones were okay but their first song to ever win an award is I Need U and after gaining popularity they made another comeback run & then fire which blows everyone away, then blood sweat & tears which solidifies their status & gains a massive fandom. from that fandom that they’ve gained, those loyal fans will kept on supporting bts until now and so on. same goes for twice, seventeen & blackpink their songs kept on getting better and better with each comeback and they’ve gain a massive loyal fandoms. what i’m saying is work on music first then others bcs without a good music even the most handsome/beautiful-aesthetic music videos-or whatever can’t hold on with the industry.
hey chynthia yup. Thats what need to be taken consideration. The musics itself should be great after another. Like its my first time seeing PD reacting to their music almost whole of the time when he usually commented on the MV. That means stray kids songs is really great. Great debut dont necessary determine group's success. I agree with you abt BTS since they always making great songs afterwards and that really attracted many fans. If stray kids continue making great musics after this, they will surely be on top.
uniq did not debut with eoeo that was one of their comebacks. They debuted with their song Falling in Love in October of 2014 . eoeo was their first comeback and luv again came after that. They haven't been able to do anything music wise cuz it's hard for them to do that in China so they're doing lots of acting jobs. Just pointing this out cuz uniq is not a good example for groups who debut with an amazing song if you're not gonna cite the right song or look into why they're not known as much anymore but I do get what you mean. And stray kids are doing an amazing job at keeping the hype up for themselves so if they keep this up I could so totally see them join bts to attend American award shows and have their music playing on the radio. their energy is no joke and I think american audiences would love them a lot
