Everyone thinks you can just throw shifters on any role now, but they seriously don't read the secondary effect. Your damage is going to be very poor as a carry/mid.
I only ever get it in mid if I'm getting dove by a Thor or something constantly
It's the same as trading put any other damage item for any other defense item. You're not losing that much if it's the only prots you build.
