I think mines glitched :( destroyed the blob but it doesn't go green and the harder spider webby bit stays there

It's happened a few times while I've played this game. I restart the game(and/or console), and it works. I'll do exactly what needs to be done and it won't work. After restart, same thing, and magically it works!
