      The subtitles are really annoying. We can figure by ourselves if the "sovereign citizen" did this or that. You could give quotations of the law, the Constitution, Abraham Lincoln etc. but your personal opinion isn't relevant.

    His logic is specious, of course. All vehicles need to be registered and insured, whether the driver is engaged in commerce at that particular moment or not. It's too late to procure insurance AFTER you've created a victim. You need it BEFORE you have an accident.

    There are many circumstances where a person spends time and effort going through courts while knowing (believing) a certain state does not have jurisdiction over them. For example, the current civil asset forfeiture situation and call recording across state lines. Very recently the FL Supreme Court had to become involved to reiterate that Florida did not have jurisdiction over citizens of Ohio.

    As far as I am concerned if a person is using roads and facilities paid by taxpayers they need to obey the laws of such. Should they choose to "travel " upon properties belonging to other persons or entities they need to have permission. Sovcits are in my opinion free to come and go as they please as long as they are thier own property that they have Paid for. Otherwise they are righteous parasites.

    Regardless of the SovCit ideology, something the judge appears to have dreamed of one day encountering in his court room, claiming that 99+ cases have been dismissed against you does in no way mean you'll win the 100th case. Providence doesn't mean nothing on the next case. It might give you hope you will win because of all the successes (as subjectively questionable those wins maybe) before but it doesn't guarantee victory this time...
    But I guess cognitive dissonance demands he linger in a court that has 'no' jurisdiction on them...!

    So much talking in circles trying to dance around and avoid the obvious facts that he, and everyone else, knows to be true. He don't have a job with a steady income. He picks up whatever he thinks he can pawn or sell to someone else for a quick buck. But at least this one didn't try the old "Maritime Law" routine like most of the others I've seen. It baffles me how they think that has any relevance whatsoever.
    I hope he got his day in court, and the appropriate judgment on his case. I also hope that he's had his eyes opened about the whole "SovCit" quackery and gets his life on track.

      The judge is talking about all the stuff you have to do to your car to become a driver and if you look up the definition of driver, it’s a person engaged in commerce I think it’s funny that the person doesn’t understand terms like if you’re playing a game and somebody says you’re like a pro pro means you get paid to do it Has nothing to do with how good you are an amateur can be better than a pro but people generally think pro means better it doesn’t the guy cooking your burger at McDonald’s is a pro, but you can probably cook better than him at home or your grandmother can, but your grandmother is an amateur guy. Macdonald is a pro because he’s getting paid, and this man is not a driver he’s a traveler

    So the license plate on a lifted truck is too far off the ground?

    • @louiscypher4186
      @louiscypher4186 2 дні тому

      Depends on the laws. There's different rules for different vehicles.
      Generally speaking if it's legal to register a truck with a lifted suspension the plates position is usually covered under modified vehicle rules.
      I don't know of any jurisdiction where it would be legal to lift the truck but the licence plates new position would be illegal.
