It's cool but I think they still need a rotary switch on the radio handle like normal radios for the steering Dual rate using what they have on the radio is not normal and don't work truly proportional like normal radios with the rotary switch in the handle for quick access with your thumb when driving... just like the steering trim button is it still on the side of the steering wheel? If so it needs to be located on the top like normal radios also so you can quickly trim out your steering when your driving. and that's my gripes with the radiolink radio if they fixed those things it would be top notch.
I am used to this style of dual rates its the same on my spektrum radios I think you are talking about the steering throws dial on the rtr radios right
@@AdventureTimeRC Hi Brent, no on my ko radios and any other radio they have a rotary dial or a rocker switch right by your thumb on the handle you rock the switch back or forward to make more or less steering throw.
@@ShenRC OK all I have is radiolink spektrum and flysky the only radios I own that have the dial are my rtr ones I would probably miss it to if I had one to choose from
@@AdventureTimeRC That's hard to believe that radios don't have a easy access little button by your thumb to add or minus steering dual rate when driving on the fly.. I use this a lot when running I would definitely miss it that's why I really don't like the radio link radio for this reason.
Thanks dude! This is exactly what I was looking for to limit throttle to setup my trx4 for my 6yo to use. You got my subscription! As an aside, idk if you figured it out already (took me a while) , but the intermittent switches can be set to toggle on/off without holding if you set the channel to "lk"
Do you have your esc plugged into channel 2 if so turn radio then your car and press the bind till it starts flashing green rapidly then it should bind
That is really odd will it turn green if you don't have the radio on if so try turning the radio on after the vehicle is on and in bind the multi color is gyro mode should only have to hold in the button for a second or 2
@@AdventureTimeRC I press the button to many times because don't want to bind soo now is in gyro mode and nothing happens my trasmitter is not pair I don't have no function
Thanks for the video, very useful. I'm going to buy a new radio. I have doubts between this radiolink and the new flysky G7P. I would like to know your opinion. Thanks again.
I'm using the D/R controls to essentially have a low med and high speed on my rigs , 20, 60, 100 is what I do for throttle... can't remember what I did on steering
Go to setting 13, the first selection on the left set it to a switch, then set the switch to whatever postion, then program, move the switch to each postion to adjust each one
Better using epa for this - because in epa you can set max and dont change low! For throttle if you need cut only forward speed but not breaking. D/R never need if using epa :)
Fantastic explanation, nice and quick tuition, just set mine up and works a treat
Thank you very much I am glad it was helpful

Cool video Brent!
