Love you guys!! I’ve adopted you as my brothers from Queens! I learned who my father is as an adult and he is from PR (I grew up with a white mom in NJ), so I watch your videos to learn to cook traditional dishes for my PR fiancé and family! So far you’ve taught me to cook arroz con gandules, Arroz con pollo, sancocho, and flan! I can’t wait to try this! Mucho gracias mi hermanos!!!
Would LOVE a good recipe for Sobao! We’re in SC and only get good bread if we go to FL!

Nacho Mama , sorry to say but Florida does not have good bread unless it's made with bottle water my sister has been there for 32yrs now and when she comes to NYC she brings bread back especially bakery quality, water in Florida is not the greatest that's why bread is not very good.

It’s the closest connection we have in the south and I think it’s very good. Looking forward to learning to make it myself though.

So happy you are back. My dad use to use a screw driver and the mallet from the pylon to get the water out of the coconut. LOL. And to crack the coconut, he would put it in the oven at high heat until it cracked. Out of all of my siblings, I am the only one who can cook Puerto Rican food. My Mom and Dad were great cooks and taught me well. My husband who is Italian rather I make him a good plate of rice and beans over pasta!
