- Cash cows, easy money, fast earning earners, beginners moneybag...claimants. Whatever you want to call it, here's another in my line of GT7 tune setup tutorials to turn one of your cars into a Le Mans WTC700 ready 700 PP monster which you can use to not only earn its own value back many times over, but of course to pad out your garage with pretty much any car in the game...
This time around its a tune for possibly one of the most OP cars you can use in this race - the massively useful Mazda LM55, in Gr1 spec in particular. Even with the newer physics updates in GT7, you can run the whole event on fuel map 1, on heavy wet rain tyres, win by multiple minutes ahead of the nearest car, and of course not need to pit in at all - and you don't even need to short shift for fuel economy!

Great video! I did one tune for Le Mans and another for Sardegna, won both by miles. Made a few million, thanks a lot!
Some clarification: If a single car spins out in front of you in the rain, you CAN pass it and not receive a penalty. This is because IRL, Stewards want to avoid a sudden "speed wall" and want a gradual slow down that flows through the rest of the pack. Now, if you're in a crowd of multiple cars and some spin out ahead of you, then you have to slow down and let whoever is in the lead pass the ones that have spun out, and you can keep your bonus. If you become the leader after everybody spins out, refer to the example above. Source: Hundreds of hours grinding this stupid track because the in-game economy resembles a mobile game and there are no other ways to make decent money.
@@crocodiluQ2his source was his experience he isn’t saying you need it to figure it out.
I find it criminal that Nürburgring does not have a high enough paying race with at least 3 laps and variable weather. The Spa race also pays less, so even though I personally like the track, I seldom use it. Only now, after what, close to 4 years of grinding and +200 hours per year, I've finished the car collection and am engaging other tracks more often. But before that it was Le Man's for an hour, one Sardegna, another Tokyo 600 attempt (rather difficult to build a car to be successful there) and then back to Le Man's. Really, the economy is crap. I probably should've tried the custom race methods or the Blue Moon Bay Speedway PS Remote method, but I never did. Welp (slaps the knee), that's all I'm saying about that.
You can pass any car in any situation the only way you don’t get a clean race in any circumstance is by overtaking when there is a visible warning on the the screen !!
Nice to see this car getting some spotlight! I do like it! Also, these build videos are always top quality (and helpful)! Thank you so much!
It is still working! I had to pit and replace heavy wet tires only once after 4 lap. I won by 50 seconds. Easy!
Second time, I won by 86 seconds 🫠 Thanks brooooo
There is something I must be doing wrong, my tyres are gone in lap 2
They do but still driveable. The point is you are going to pit only once not twice. So that will give you an edge. If you play in beginner mode its going to be easier to win /by at least 2 minutes/
@@baykboloroo4877 thanks mate, I’ll give it a go
Bro, this tune, wow, thank you so much! I had been lamenting the fact that since the update I couldn't use this car in the 700pp races, but your tricks showed me how, and the tune is brilliant as well. Subscribed because of it!
Nice one, glad it was useful!
Bac mono is really good. racing hard in the dry. At 699. its a 1 stop race. Even if it rains. faster than the gr4 cars in the straights and holds up in the corners does like 318km/h with a good draft
C'est complètement dingue , bravo 🎉
Thanks for this. I'm using a controller & I probably drive a little to agressively, so I had to tinker with the Fuel Map during the race, but it worked. All 4 Tyres, all went by the end of Lap 5, but still drivable. Got to the end of Lap 6 with enough of a lead that I could just sit for a couple of mins before crossing the finishing line & not having to do a 7th lap like we used to be able to. I have my Grind for this evening sorted.
Would recommend a Gr.B car, max out tuning and power restrictor for 700pp.
Use Racing Mediums to start, and Intermediates when the rain comes. Use fuel map 6 to start and for the whole race.
The car has 788hp and you pass the entire field of cars on lap 1 ( on the Straight). You pit 2x for fuel and tires with a healthy 60sec gap to the rest of cars always.
One thing I noticed was that basically any car with 700pp will farm this easily. I vary between the various 700pp cars to get out of boredom, but I usually choose the most enjoyable one to drive. I'm used to the Mazda 787B, but I won this Mazda LM55 in a roulette and I was curious to test it. Thanks for sharing this 700pp project. I'm sure it will be useful for several players.
This still works end of january 2025. Thanks for the video!
***manual trans is better and if it rains this build makes 30 mins lemans the easiest money making method in the game imo*** only read further if you want to know details as the conclusion i wrote at the top**** jan 22 , 2025
Edit: i got too excited and wrote that before even finishing 1 race as everything seemed to work as he said. The problem i am facing is when the tires wear out the car becomes unable to keep up with the competition and i dont have enough of a lead to hold first. I had the automatic trans for the first race which gave me 30 less hp and i am going to now do it with the manual and see if it makes a big difference. Also with the automatic and not touching the fuel map i had to pit 1 time with about 8 mins left. I already have a handful of cars i built myself that can win 9/10 times only losing due to driver error like not paying attention or unlucky AI collisions and i decided to look up an easy mode build to maximize profit and so far i was better off with a faster car and pitting every 3 laps than this method. Conclusion: the manual trans is the way to go you should be good no matter what with a manual but i have found the big difference is if it rains or not. I have tested now 5 races the first 4 were dry, (which never happens) with the automatic i struggled both races but got the win in 1 of them with manual in dry conditions won 2 for 2 but didnt see that easy mode result i was looking for. The last race was manual trans and wet and it wasnt even a challenge i was about 2 and a half minutes ahead of 2nd place and it was a sloppy race for me. This is a good method for farming credits.
Okay, I have another money build for anyone, it’s a little hard to handle but it can get really good lap times, and can run for like 3-4 laps without fuel

Fuel lasts for a while, normally only 1 stop per race (use in mix 6)
It only has 697 pp, yet it can almost lap cars, and can wait for about 2-3 minutes at the end depending on rain.
Pls read this took forever to write
Yeah did a vid for the GrB NSX, most rally cars are good choices 👌
Do you use ballast?
@ nope, no ballast
Thank you sir! Finally have a car that actually lasts a bit more than my 2000 Diablo gt, only gives me 2 laps but hits exactly 205 on straights but the pits kill me sometimes. I have won 3 of 4 due to pits.
@ yeah, it’s a great car, thanks for using it
I currently use the DBR9 GT.1 for le Mans.
Sits at 699.46 PP. Three Laps on Map 1 full throttle. Then either IM or RH tyres. Then after 1 pit three laps on Map 5 and the final lap on map 1.
Usually gives me 2-3.5 min ahead finishing between 30.20 and 31.30 minutes.
Faster lap times are between 4.03 and 4.08
I do something very similar with the Alfa 155
I do love the Mazda LM55, it's quite efficient, perfectly balanced, really excellent tire wear characteristics, but I do find it's wasted in Le Man's just because it's a timed race. Yes it's fast, yes, you can run a no pit stop strategy, but that also means you end up rolling a lot more, increasing wear on the drive train. Plenty other cars can win the 700pp race at Le Man's. Much better to use it on Sardegna which has a fixed number of laps and can be finished in around 26/27 minutes, even if the payout is lower, I can run Le Man's half asleep, and I do sometimes fall asleep at the wheel there. Sardegna keeps me driving for longer.
I agree I never use the Mazda LM55 at Le Man's, I always use it for Sardegna or Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
This is still 1 of my Favorite cars in GT7 cause its screams but is amazing on fuel I made my own 700pp and 800pp tunes for this car but I didn't know anyone else did.
But at the same time Le Mans 700pp is 1 of only 5 ways to make fast money since the others are Tokyo, Spa, Sardegna and customs on Daytona.
I have logged so many hours on Le Mans I can drive it in my sleep 😅 they really need to make more tracks give higher payouts.
Ive been grinding this set up all day with fuel map 1. The sooner it rains the better and the more the better. If theres enough rain its only 6 laps. If you get at least 2 minutes ahead you can wait at the finish line. If its more on the dry side a 7th lap is needed. Pit stop after lap 3 for tires and fuel
Also this grind is an easy 850k and i dont need to worrie about smacking the wall or another car for the bonus. In 2 hours i could have 3.4million compared to 3 million doing 1 race for an hour with stricter guidelines
I consider this to be one of the builds I least expected, especially for the 700PP category from the LM55.
great strategy even though I had to pit but still in 3 races I got 2,475,000 credit which is great if you were aiming to save for some legendary cars.
Guys in my experience in my first race immediately set the fuel map all the way to Lean and trust Me don’t get scared about other racers they pitted twice while I haven’t but like it was annoying I had to do another lap but at this point I had plenty of fuel left but my tires were very red, so the last lap I pitted got new wet tires that were probably shredded Lmao, then to my surprise I thought everyone was overtaking Me but nearly other racers got pit in and all switched to heavy wets, then once got into the out lap I cranked the fuel all the way to Power and I just flew through the course and crossed the finish line with 800k the clean race bonus. During like lap 3-4 that’s when every car was slowing down a lot due to the downpour and having regular tires on while I was still zooming on Lean, but you guys have to be god damn careful with very red tires… So everything was exact, his setup I had and then I read people were running out of gas and I thought hmmm maybe he meant Lean instead of power and my first race was a success, I think comes down to the rain guys and switching the fuel from power to max lean, you maybe can try lean 3-5??? But idk that’s just how my first race went :P, thanks for the cash cow build mate.
thank you
Nowadays as someone who has collected every car with half of them being duplicates for builds, I just do the Weekly challenges that interest me. Currently at 26 million.
have you been playing since day 1? your account sounds really stacked
@@BloonMasterAlch Technically I started playing like 4-5 days after launch because the game was shipped way later than I anticipated, but yeah basically been there since launch.
@@Driff97 cool, so pretty much. do you have the normal or 25th anniversary version?
Original.
@@Driff97 nice
I use a BAC Mono. It's quick weight and power wise, but it can kill you if you're not careful. If anyone wants a tune for it, you're welcome to have it.
So I am not sure what is going on here. But for the first time one of these setups is completely unusable for me.
My LM55 GR.1 is set identical. BUT: it does only barely last 5 laps and it is uncontrollable after 4 laps. Even the best laps were not good.
I really dont see how this can be. Weird
Total agree on that. Lost so much time, especially, when in the dry
yea, unusable for me as well (1.54)...only nissan gtr does it best for me.
Still doing Sardegna Road Track with the Mazda 787b around 23 mins for just under 800k 15 laps around 1 min 35 no stop if desired with low fuel settings, but i use fuel map 2 for 8 or 9 laps then nip into pits as the tyres do get dodgy near the end if no pit..
I use low fuel and I still have to stop at lap 10, am I needing to reduce power and increase grip?
@@plourde79shift earlier it will save Fuel
It's so sad that this is still the main method to make some cash in the game. They really did all they could to rip the soul outta the game from launch and gut whatever methods people would use to make money. I've spent over 800 hours and I still don't have most cars that require an invite or cars that cost 20M CR. Sure, I do spend too much customizing cars and even duplicates sometimes, but that used to be the point of this game, TO HAVE FUN!!!! Now Gran turismo is a chore at best.
The new weekly races and the TT add up (for me that's enough) not too pushed on obtaining every car unless its on a cafe menu. (Still waiting for an invite from porche since whenever that cafe menu dropped)
@@fittpatleyi keep getting lambo invites even though I already have 2 veneno’s 😅
I agree this game is such a chore I think they just need to fix the roulette system and the invitation… actually give decent stuff on the roulette and another way for us to get invites example if you have more that x amount of cars from a manufacturer you should get invited
I coped this but I needed to pit for fuel once and it was so hard to take corners at any speed with red tyres after a few laps.
I didn't even manage to pull the win without a pit on my first try and came back here to read some comments. My laps are too slow and at some point I regret and I felt like if I go to pit even twice, I could win.
Extra 8 PP make it total 699.99 with rear downforce 1595 setting
Man doesn't work anymore. Set fuel to 1 and tires were already worn out by lap 2. Almost unsteerable. Only had to pit once for tires and fuel and 7 laps sadly
It doesnt matter what car u use 30 min stays 30 min. And the prize is always the same right? Or am i missing something? Grinding my ass of on lemans spa en serdegna. Would be nice if Poly gives us some more options on more tracks.
Tbf on the long term sardegna is more profitable because of the 30 minute cap of lemans. I manage to get 25-27 minutes on a 787b or the zonda R. You do have to mess with fuel maps if you dont want to pit but its still a bit faster
I've been using the gr1 Porsche in serdegna, I can get about 24.5 min race. So much better than Le Mans
@@VikingRacer I do agree with you there, but if you're looking to change the scenery every now and then, Le Mans fills the bill as well as Tokyo
@@FDALl-ms5kg787b I done a 25.04 as my fastest on that track
@@Switchblade11-08 You can do a 21-22mins run on Tokyo(20mins if you're really pushing it).
How to cope with the tires turning red? My first 2 laps I get ok times, but braking distance increases so much with the red tires I do 20 seconds longer over each lap
Wassup! I really like the 911 RSR and the last build you did is outdated and I can't find any good tunes for it soooooo me and a lot of people would really like an updated tune for the Porsche
But I still think I’m usually always right now for me, my best 700 PP car I tried all the car she can possibly imagine Best one is Mazda, RX 7 spirit type R. FD 92
Do you put racing hard tires? Buy intermediate tires and wet tires
Oh full customization suspension leave as it is don’t touch nothing

Buy all Weight reduction
And you should be at 699.99
You can drive 400 more Cars for that Race! 30 Minutes is 30 Minutes. Volvo Caravan can win this LM700 Race easy… 😂
I use the 99 subi rally sti best car so far I think.
I run average laps of 4:06 w/ Fuel Map 3 on pretty much any Skyline R32/33/34 engine swap. I can go just a bit quicker with the NSX Road car swaps. For laymans, that's the 30minute checkered being raised half way around the 8th lap with no Pit Stop for tires or fuel.
For the longest time it boggled my mind that I couldn’t figure out why my weight and max torque was way off then it dawned on me I am in America boy I should cut back on the devils lettuce
It’s great until the tires wear out!!
I tried this car failed miserably, sold the car, went and looked in my garage, something said try the SR3 SL '13 and boy oh boy that was fun and thrilling and the tune I did on it was miniscule I'm sure someone who actually is good at turning a car couldake a better tune but I won with a 43sec lead
Sad. This build worked perfectly for three times doing this. Now i always loose because some corvette is faster. Anyone has other NO PIT STOP builds for this please?
You really sound like Squirrel who does Euro Truck Sim2. Same accent.
Pretty sure I've heard that comparison before, and a few others. Guess they also have 'received pronunciation', which is what my accent is
Even The 190e v8 swap gets sub 4 min laptimes. Or 4 min laptimes on fuel map 6
did they fix it, because it wont let me
Hello, not working on me, i do all u say and my is pp790,58 😮
Hmm maybe the new update fcuked this up, the tyres wear out in about 2 laps and the car is very hard to stear through corners and breaking etc. after the tyres all red - A very nice car otherwise 😅
Now i wonder for spa😜 what if we get this thing to 800pp and slaughter the field!
Nice I just got this car for free
I use the red bull for the 800pp and the red bull junior for the 700pp, controller on automatic, feels like cheating, but I need the money to buy expensive cars... I will try this one on the gr.1 café.
getting a time penalty for leaving the track limits does not effect the clean race bonus as well.
idk why but my car doesnt have the tyre wear characteristics
My car is still over 800
How do you decrease the pp even more in the new update?
Just reduce the Power Restrictor, or add a bit of Weight to the car mate.
Hi!! Still working?
Did someone ever tried the Alpine VGT? Fuel on 6, you can make it without a pitstop aswell (only when it rains heavy then you have to do one)
Can you win the race like that ?
What do you mean? Of course you can win, do you think I would mention it when you only be 2nd or worst. It wouldn't be worth it. Sorry but that's a bit of a stupid question @@snooginzzzwiz2906
@@blisa2512 it’s not a stupid question to ask if you stay on 6 would you win the race
no need to pit stop?
Nope, run straight on through on map 1 with around a lap to spare, as long as you use manual and shift up as soon as the revs come into frame
I guess I'm too late. I cant get the car anywhere 700pp.
No you can still use it, I did yesterday
How tf you get 699pp i got 737pp and already copying all ur tune lol
The wet tyres 👍🏻
Does this still work?
Yeah still my go-to earner
still work?
Yeah this is my go-to
How much is the car
1 million credits
does this tune still work? it's now the update 1.52 so i don't want to risk it already being patched
edit: i just tried it and it still works perfectly fine. thank you so much for this vid
Why do I see in the store that I have purchased this car but I don't see it in my garage?
the blue book means that you once have owned or own the car. if it's not in your garage then you probably sold it
Show me the receipts 😂 big F
I love this car but I cant stand the engine noise
What's wrong with having engine noise, especially the Doritos? Either way, you do you.
acknowledge the need for oil change and still jumps straight into race.......
at least pretend to be a race car driver, "race" cars usually change there oil between a few passes to a few hundred miles.
had to give the video a thumbs down.
I use the Porsche RSR w mediums on full power, pit after 3rd lap and down to lowest power setting, then halfway thru 6th lap back up to full power. Win by a large margin everytime (30 sec+). If it rains lightly TC usually handles it well, heavy rain switch to IM.
No need for fancy builds.
I even prefer the cappuccino swap .
Not a fan of this over the audi or the rx7 swap
