Lucky's closed..? 😕
Yeah, I heard he did shut down. Guessing pandemic shut downs took their toll.
@@DragonRiderProductions I got a chopper off ebay and the seller had no paperwork or could tell me who built it. Can you help identify it?
@@nevercrywolf6217 Doubtful on that but- is you want to send a pic- dragonriderproduction@gmail.com
This video has been needed for a long time. Thanks.
I have a RevTec 100 CID gen II. It is a very fast bike! It was tuned by "someone who knows what they are doing," end ended up with 100 horsepowers on the rear wheel and 148 Nm torque. Dry clutch (hydraulic), transmission covers by Delcron and Crane Cams ignition. 6 speed RevTec gearbox and Vance&Hines exhaust. A beautiful setup.
Sounds great and yes, they are fast. I've surprised a few riders that way. You should upload a video of it!
Thank you Sir. 👍👍Good video and saved me big bucks doing it myself👍🙏🏻
Thanks
cool ! Thanks for sharing !!
What kind of oil you use. I see some go 20W-50
I’m experiencing very hard starting on 06 softail custom with revtech 100”. Bike sometimes won’t even turn over? Almost seems like the starter isn’t powerful enough. Bump starts fine in 2nd on a big hill, just having an electrical issue it seems?
Have compression release? When I don't engage them, the start is really hard. Mine are built into the head, else there are kits (Wimmer) to add to the plugs. I don't know how well those work as I have no experience with them.
2nd, biggest help was getting a lithium battery, 420 CCA. With that battery and compression release, it starts before I finish pressing the starter button all the way. 1/4 second.
I put a photo in my 'Community" section if that helps.
I’ve got an 05’ custom chopper with a revtech 100 also and you’ve got to make sure the compression releases are pushed in each time before starting otherwise it may not turn over. Big motor can drain the small battery quickly. My start button sometimes acts like it’s dead so either I’ve got a weak relay somewhere or my battery is weak. I’ve installed a manual push start button that works fantastic if my start switch acts up. I’m starting to think it’s probably a weak battery so you may need to upgrade your battery to a lithium 420 CCA battery as someone else mentioned. I had never owned a chopper so I’m constantly learning new things about her and increasing my education which makes having one much more enjoyable.
I have a 91 fatboy with a 80ci motor. It has rev tech heads and duel plugs per head! So hard to find info or videos about this!
Fortunately, I know a V-Twin guru who can tell me how to do Revtech stuff. I couldn't find much at all.
I didn't know there was a wrong hole lol
LMAO!
Took oil sump cover off was leaking- drained and a little oil came out- will engine re lube this area
Hello, I have a question regarding the mounts of the engine, does it have any? I have a custom chopper built by American Custom Choppers in Texas, and I can see the engine sitting on the frame, and no mount at the front or at the back, is this right? I have always thought it vibrates excessively. Thank you for your support.
Hi. The motor mounts are basically brackets welded across the frame and the engine is bolted to directly to the brackets. There is no rubber in between the brackets and the motor like you usually find in a car's motor mounts. Engine vibration is transferred directly to the frame and the rest of the bike. And yes, causes a lot of vibration. If the motor is running rough, there is a lot, even more, vibration.
thank you for this vid.. I have ran into a problem with my "oil change" I have a rolling thunder oil tank " just what they offer with their frames.. " and ive been checking the level often and the other day when I went to change it it was almost to the top? and I pulled the plug and filter and it was just stayed full.. until i drained it of course but what would make it get so full? any help would be greatly appreciated.. im thinking about how to flush it for "clogs " now
Clogs seem to be pretty rare but have posted at

For some detail.
Was the oil hot
Hey mr ! Thanks for the videos. I have a question about primary oil leak. Im looking to buy a used APC big boy 2001 modell with the revtech 100 with 1640 cc 98 horsepower. The current owner have changed the the gasket 3 times, changed the simring, aered it out , checked the crank, open the oil pump, aired the crankcase. It still leaking oil from the primary. Any thoughts of what the problem is? Or what need to benken checked oitcto figure out the oil leaking problem? Is the engine ready to be changed? Sorry for the bad english.

Have a question
OK, shoot
@@DragonRiderProductions I had to replace the oil sump gasket- took plug out - some oil came out- will engine replenish when started
@@matthewjeromin5929 With oil pump working, I think it would get oil to where it's needed and of course oil in the reservoir.
I haven't done that repair so can't say from a hands on aspect.
Could you tell me anything about Shumaker Cylinders on a 96 RevTech
Sorry Bubba. I can't.
I have a 110 revtech don't know any information about it sure would like to have some no head gaskets I didn't know that
I don't have any info on the 110. My source for Revtech closed shop..
So after you rode around and rechecked the oil, did it need any?
Is that 2 quarts with the oil filter?
Thanks
Didn't need any. Probably done 2-3 changes since the video with filter change.
Do you know anyone that would know compensating but torque ( procedure would be awesome) it’s only thing keeping me from riding
Can't help you on that one.
