I know what you like in this dude. He is just like nuzzi. This is the hipster style of taking that is Practiced in southern California. These dudes are too casual. That's what we like about them hipsters!
+Nick Hurley That's the nicest comment we can get. You know we get a lot of hate from some brands if we don't say their product is 100% the best thing ever. But why do a review if you aren't being honest right?
the busenitz was actually the shoe that held up the longest for me. I skate at least everyday for maybe an hour with lots of flat ground tricks and flick tricks and the toe box held up really well . they're so consistently comfortable
+O.G JJ Exactly dude and it's not even big companies they single out the most successful ones that's why they hate on nike not adidas they hate on zumiez but not active ride shop( I actually hate zumiez) and it's hypocrisy at its finest
+jetwork131 dont wait for him to review the koston 3s. get the Adidas Busenitz they are an amazing shoes, they lasted me 5-6 months and i skate almost everyday
I am usually a size 10 US. In the Busenitz Pro I’m a 9.5 US. And in the Busenitz Vulc RX Samba a 9.5 is kinda tight, so a 10. Update: In the Busenitz Pro pruduced now, I am also a 10. Adidas should stay true to size to avoid these problems.
Thank you! I thought I was going nuts. THey are mad tight. I'm a 9.5 US and these things wrap around my feet. I'm thinking about getting the Nyjah's. By chance would you say I should get my regular shoe size or move up to a 10?
@@erikg88 Haven't tried Nyjah's. My best bet, order two sizes from Zappos, free return the size you don't like. Or try them in a store. I think you'll go with the larger one as Nike's often run small.
Skating these myself at the moment and they are a pretty dope shoe to be honest. Took a bit of getting used to as I've not skated a cup shoe before but once they were worn in they feel amazing to skate and they're holding up well to abuse!
These are some of my favorite shoes, for comfort and look. Unfortunately, I have to disagree on the month timeline of this. I've ripped through to the toe on both flicking feet, and through to the toe on the sole in two weeks.
+caswell 411 thats not what i meant some one said to review the es swift a shoe that recently came out and your like no no no review a koston shoe that came out like 10 years
I have the zx vulcs they're pretty good I've been skating them hard for about 3-4 weeks and they're just starting to tear I mostly skate Manny pads ledges and stairs it has good protection and it fits snug which I love it has okay board feel it has a midsole in it so it's a vulc/cup hybrid overall it's a 8/10
Progression Skateboarding have you skated the Busenitz pro's or any other Adidas model with the heel-slip cushions in them? I'm mostly wondering how they compare as I know the ZX Vulc's don't have that feature
+Sen Chi yes I have skated the busenitzs vulc and cupsole they both skate great they fit snug and have okay protection only problem is that they don't last long but for the time that I did skate them they felt and skated amazing
Progression Skateboarding ahh, my bad, I guess my previous comment was confusing. what I meant was that the snug fit you're talking about in the Busenitz models around the heel; you know those cushions that keep your heel from slipping? those are kind of mandatory for me hence Ive been rockin the Pro's exclusively for years now but wanna try something different. Tho the ZX reviews seem great, I know they dont have that anti-heel slip feature. if you compare the fit around the heel in the ZXs to any of the Busenitz models, how do they compare? Peace
+Sen Chi they are not as snug as the busenitzs but the zx vulcs fit true to size and doesnt slip around or move while skating they still feel really good but they do not have that heel cushion that gives that really snug fit
***** Yes on Wes! WES WE CAN! I back that maf. His first shoe was so god damn good. I was a tad disappointed that it wasn't a thicker shoe (Wes said he had a lot of inspiration from '90s shoes in an interview before the shoe was unveiled and eventually released). I suppose his first shoe was just a mash up of the half cab and DC Tonic. They were gnarly and wayyyy better than those shit Half Cab Lows that Vans tried to get away with selling about 6+ years ago.
I would love to see these videos with your shoe size being a controlled variable in every review. Say you're a size 9, no matter what you buy size 9 shoes and let viewers know if the shoe fits tighter or wider, how much toe room there is or whatever and based off of your normal fit you can recommend buying sizes bigger or smaller. I've noticed when I wear Adidas I have a lot less toe room than Vans in the same size. I happen to prefer that. These types of things might be helpful if not to just me. The Busenitz (vulc and cup) are awesome by the way so I was hyped on this great job.
Bought a pair of these because I found them in an outlet store on the cheap. The ankle support is amazing thanks to the added plastic which you can see on the shoes above (the green bit at the back) and they're a really sturdy. What I don't like is I found it difficult to get any grip off the toe so my flips and ollies went to shit for a few weeks while I figured that out. Had to start kicking my kickflips really hard to get it to rotate. Also the tongues always slip to the side as well because they aren't sewn in which is actually super annoying when you're out skating. Wear and tear wise these are a solid shoe but overall I don't think i'd get them again or at full price.
The Fura is the worst Lakai shoe that I've skated since I started skateboarding (back in late 2008). I don't know why, but the ones I picked up from my local shop were made in China -- I haven't had a pair of Chinese made Lakais in years since they switched to Korean factories (and had higher quality with less defects). The shoe is terrible. The Fura is like a shitty, thinner, more minimalistic version of the Griffin. I'd pick the classic Griffin any damn day over these shoes. Two sessions in and they've lost their shape and become floppy...
This is one of the most credible skateboarders to do shoe reviews. All the other shoe review videos, like tactics, talk to much bull shit and don't have enough skating in them.
These are hands down the best shoes I've ever skated. Got mines for 65$ though. However id still dish out 80$ for these any day. Super flexy and the board and flick feel are just outta this world. I skate SB dunks usually but the Busenitz feel like when you break in and wear down a shoe to where it just feels too perfect to skate in for you to start skating and breaking in a new pair of shoes.
Currently my favorite skate shoe. I love the look, I love the feel (especially that period of time when they are starting to break-in), and they are a-little-bit-better-than-meh durable. Skate one without any mesh else that shit will rip apart fast (I'm a heelflip guy). They stay comfortable for the whole ride. Shit does get torn apart if you're getting it in on a daily. I recommend them to anyone who is considering it.
These are really nice shoes - I have a pair and they are the best for both casual and skating! They are so cool looking and I prefer sup-soled shoes so these thick the boxes. But, my advice is to stop worrying about what other people think and just enjoy wearing the shoes that you like best and are the most comfortable. ie. these shoes.
$80 for them fml in Australia there $150 and I know they won't last long so I'm not going to waste my money on it but I really love these reviews. Love you guys keep up the good work
I just ordered the undefeated busenitz collab of this shoe. excited af. been skating the normal black pro of it for about 2 months. heavy hole on my toe from flip tricks tho
both are really comfortable, both vulc sole, my skytops are the Supra TUF material and the shredders are black suede and canvas. I highly recommend you review these shoes, I would like to you're opinion on these shoes.
How come you haven't reviewed any New Balance? Your the only shoe review guy I'll watch. I told my self a long time ago I would never buy from any company that's not skater owned and operated, but the skate world has gone and grown up behind my back and now that "core skater/skate-shop" way of life kinda doesn't work any more. I really like the look of most New Balances skate shoes, but can't really find any "worth while" reviews to watch.
If you have wide feet like I do you’ll probably have to get a whole size up. I got the all black busenitz and the gray and blue ones in size 13 and I love them. Very comfortable. They have so many different colors so I would recommend them to anyone.
im starting to like this guy

I know adidas is a corporate company. but there shoes are actually really good compared to nike.
right
Also they aren't as cooperate, they're cooperate yes but not as much as Nike
+Edward Soto they're JUST as corporate lmao
Come on this is clear hypocrisy
+O.G JJ Exactly dude and it's not even big companies they single out the most successful ones that's why they hate on nike not adidas they hate on zumiez but not active ride shop( I actually hate zumiez) and it's hypocrisy at its finest
Picked these up yesterday. Definitely give ‘em a 10 out of 10. They felt amazing out the box and they are true to size!
Are they generous? TTS for wide footer?
I have no interest in buying them but i really want to see you review koston 3's
Same.
I have 3 pairs....you're missing out bro
Yaa let's broke christian's wallet

Yes !!!!!
I am usually a size 10 US.
In the Busenitz Pro I’m a 9.5 US.

+Zane Costello nononono es koston 3! not the k4, those sucked no need for confirmation. although the k4 was hella ahead of the toe cap game!!!!

I have a pair of these and can't wait to skate them. Still skating the busenitz lights
Do the Vans Gilbert Crockett pro model next.
Great video. Do they run true to size or should I go half a size up?
That last crooked grind though 👌🏾

Lasted me barely 2 weeks and already have a huge hole in the side
really depends on how aggressive you skate and how abrasive your tape is
