That was a lot of snow. Love the views you have on the way and there. Good neighbors are a must when you are in the situation you have at the cabin. Nice view at the cabin and the trails you went on there. Thanks for sharing.

Wow Mike your property is just beautiful! Thanks for taking us along for the walk. Excited to see how the new batteries hold up, I use similar camera LM2 and have considered changing to those batteries. You have bear down there... I would lock the cameras up in the metal cases they make for them. I use to leave mine out like you have yours and I had a 2 legged predator walk of with them.... now I lag bolt them into the tree with those headLOC screws you like so much. Hope that deters them. Again thanks for sharing your paradise.

@@davidmorse8432 thanks for that information! I knew someone country had covered that song.
A LOT of people have covered the song! Dolly,Loretta and Bill Monroe and others call it "In the Pines" and start the song at that line.

Good afternoon from Upstate South Carolina. You might need a snowmobile in WV. Gorgeous landscape and setting. The deer know it's not hunting season. Have a productive day.

Beautiful Mike. Hunting in snow. I was 22 years old, working construction. In great shape. Went w co-worker, Shelby Dellinger. Just above Marion NC mountains. He grew up there and knew the land well. Lots of snow. We went in a good way, and then we turned to make a big u. Halfway back, we spotted a big buck and several doe. We split and got still. I was so tired, sitting on a log, i fell asleep. A few minutes passed, and i looked up to see a doe fifteen feet from me. I just remained still till it went on by. Walking in snow, knee high is hard no matter ones condition. I was glad we didn't see that buck again. Getting it out was planned w his cousin. He was to bring his four-wheeler and haul it out, but i didn't think he'd be able to because of the snow. Did you see Hannah Barron's channel a week ago? Her dad, Jeff, climbed up in a friends tree stand, turned and took one step, and the top strap broke, sending him to the ground head first, about 18 to 20 feet. Broke 3 vertebrae in his neck and two on his spine. His phone was in his truck. He managed to walk back to his truck and drove home. Hannah posted from the hospital. His head and face still had blood covering him. No lifeline. I think he was wearing a harness, but he didn't have time to hook up. Enjoyed this video Mike, thanks.👍🚜❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

That area always gets whiteouts there. I’m originally from Pittsburgh (Blawnox) and moved to WV about 16 years ago. I love it down here. I love watching your videos and now especially the ones with the new cabin. Looking forward to seeing more! 👍

Mike it plays with the mind when you think that the cabin is farther south and has more snow ,it reminds me of the first load I delivered to Denver,Co. 100 + on I 70 and when you see the city with the mountains behind them and snow on the top , on another thought when you are saw milling this winter you might want to saw extra to build a storage shed for the cabin to put the patio pieces and fire pit and misc. you need to secure when not there.

I was wondering, why deer were hanging around a pine plantation, in the dead of winter. Being there is no usable forage, in a pine lot...
That sure is a magical place, with the snow. SO pretty.

Lovely shots from the drone in the video. Most of which that show plenty of light streaming through the pines. Most solar panels don’t need direct sunlight, just light. I would definitely say buying a solar panel and at least trying it on one of your cameras and bet that you won’t need to charge it. Angle it right and the snow should just slip off or the wind will do the job.

Very nice video today Mike. The solar panels do surprising well on my cameras. Even in the woods where they don't get much if any direct sunlight I never need to recharge the battery packs. The charge indicator drops to about half for much of the winter but in the summer they stay fully charged.

Just watched "The Merkles" Thrift store adventure, i liked it. All the Morgan family produce good videos. Waiting for Eva and Off the Leash with Melissa also. Thank you guys for bringing us along. :) Drone footage was absolutely beautiful. Weird, but when i watch the West Virginia videos, its like a sense of awe, and a Norman Rockwell painting, of peace and old fashion living, like it was many years ago. :)

Good morning Mike. , Thank you for this content my wife and I love watching your videos first thing in the morning after I watch the weather I check your channel for new videos I don' t sleep much from my chronic pain issues. In the mornings I'm up early I've had multiple spine surgeries I fell about 16 ft out of a tree and broke my spine about 14 15 years ago I still do a lot I am disabled but I I can cut and split little bit of wood I work out my shop a lot We just were building this house where 98% done we're living in it but it took us 5 years We have built houses and garages I do electrical things for people all the time I retired from Ford motor company for 30 years Had to take early retirement but my interests are exactly what you and your wife's are My wife and I we own the cabin down at the lake We bought rebuilt completely was going to build new but decided to just rebuild it We sold it this summer as it's hard to take care of but I love to go down there about 2 hours away real similar set up to yours and I would run down there in the week and mow and things when my wife is at work and then we would go on vacations and weekends and but the grandkids got older and they don't like to go boating and stuff as much so now I have a boat but I just fish and my hunting days I still hunt we live on the national wildlife refuge but I can't walk very far so I have to hunt in little areas and I haven't even deer hunting for a couple years other than take my grandsons out and taught them but we really enjoy your show I just came across it one day and I'm really glad. my wife and I both watch you She gets aggravated because in the mornings before she leaves for work a lot of times I'll be trying to back up and show her things on your video but this morning the snow you had we've had a lot of snow and right now we have a lot of ice out now here in East Central Kansas we live on a National wildlife refuge yesterday you could hardly get out of the house and walk especially with me I'm on blood thinners and things so I was afraid to go out other I hope you don't mind I enjoy watching you do the things that I've done my whole life and struggle to do now it just running equipment etc I still think I can and do sometimes for some of the people that can't do it theirselves and need help I can run equipment but getting down doing the digging and and the physical work is very hard on me but my grandson's help me a lotI know that's sad but that's the way it is because you really bring me a lot of enjoyment cuz I love to do the things that you're doing and that's what my wife and I have always done as a side note she loves your bronco She wants a bronco we just we bought a new F-150 this year same tires on as your bronco Great truck it's the off-road it I should have brought the tremmor package but I love that truck a the work I know that you have to put alot of effort to do this but there's a lot of people really enjoy You guys. I still split and cut our wood but only in short periods several times a day without this wood heat my pain levels are crazy in the winter time and keeps me moving around
    Glad I found your Channel...

The video near the beginning was Breathtaking! The technology that is available today (drones, video HD, effects, editing, etc.) could have only been accomplished by a professional movie studio 30 years ago. Even at that, YOUR choices of sound, framing, videography, and editing were over the top. It reminds me of some of Ryan Knorr videos.

When you put in the connecting hallway why not reuse the soon to be deleted window in the side of the new hallway?

Your tread design has a lot of sipes - very good for most snow. Typiically best thing for snow driving is inertia/momentum. When stuck always try backwards 1st
Turn assist ?? too much snow to try.... traction loss. Use gas pedal to spin around but it takes a little timing
lesser 4x4 lets you by. U need to learn/practice snow 4-wheeling esp w/bronco which should be highly capable. I do like the fact u drive safely within your comfort zone!
    Great cabin set UP!!

Try the solar option for the flex, youd be surprise how much sun it will pickup. you dont need full sun and a little a day is all you need to keep it charged. Saves you a load of cash in battiers too !!

I started watching Mike from his first video on . I dont really comment on videos. But I find it odd that folks have the need to say nasty things or hint that they are trying to find out where they live or the cabin. Just enjoy the videos. My mother always told me if i have nothing nice to say,say nothing at all. I am 60 now and I have tried to use her advice.
