“If you’re watching this video, it’s because I didn’t make it” that old man was about to spend his last bit of life playing golf. He’s at that point where he doesn’t even care about death. God bless this man.
Elias Rammah I teared up at that one , i hope they're all doing well 😟
Elias Rammah that’s what happens.
Elias Rammah it was very sad :(
That man is just someone I want to hang out with
Grave Bodybag sadly :( I guess when the time comes people just don’t fear death and don’t even care anymore.
i overslept the hawaii missile warning and when I woke up, my mom was like, "oh there was a missile threat"
honestly, if it did happen, then sleeping would be the best thing I could've done
LMFAOO you avoided the scare of a lifetime

wouldnt your mum wake you up? dafuq seems a little sus
That’s also what happened to me. I lived on a military base too, so I definitely would’ve been gone for good
Tornado: *literally ripping this guys house apart*
Guy: aww man
this is one of the rare comments that makes me laugh
He's too calm , I think he paid the tornado to destroy his house for the insurance money
Not again! I hate it when that happens!
Am impressed by how level-headed he is. He sounds like he could be watching his favorite football team blow their lead in the fourth quarter for the third week running. Definitely not pleased about it, but not the mindless panic many people would experience (and they'd be justified) when seeing a tornado headed straight for them.
so we back in the mine
I know this video is like, 2 or 3 years old, but as a daycare employee, many places look shoddy on the outside because they spend what little money they can spare on making the rooms safe & nurturing for the kids. Ive worked at plenty of places that look odd on the outside but are perfectly normal inside. I feel bad for the people who work there having to put up with that bs from redditors
I dont believe the so called "mail carrier" who always encountered "nap time, no matter what time of day I showed up."
Mail carriers are generally very habitual in their day to day routines. They run the same routes day in and day out, and they generally run them the same way, which usually has them making deliveries to the same location at approximately the same time every day. My mail generally shows up between 1 and 1:15 every day, occasionally as late as 1:30. But I've never received mail before 1, and never after 2.
I feel like that comment was made by somebody who has bought into the conspiracy theory and really WANTS the daycare to be something else besides a daycare, so they tried to pretend to be a mail carrier and made up a story about always being naptime without actually understanding how mall carriers actually opperate. They tried too hard and gave themselves away by adding too much detail.
If I remember correctly they had to close down because people continued to go there and break their windows and such to the point where the children, parents and workers became scared.
The redditor is the most shameful species of human.
Literally this. The daycare I went to was in a bad neighborhood and looked suspicious as hell on the outside; On the inside everything was clean and nicely furnished, there were lots of activities and plenty of staff, food, and daily schedules for different mini events. Art classes with fun assignments, TV time or movie day during lunch, a gym area, functional and clean bathrooms. When you live in a lower income neighborhood, you're not going to spend good money making the outside of the establishment look pretty when there are kids to take care of. I only have fond memories there.
Yeah I've seen some worse looking daycares in my area
"If you're watching this video it means I didn't make it."

That is from the November 17, 2013 Washington, Illinois (Tazewell County) EF-4 tornado that ravaged parts of central Illinois. I grew up not far from there in Woodford Co. (Germantown Hills), and I was quite familiar with Washington.
Home insurance doesn't exist in the States?
@@4manicegrillz It does; It also covers tornadoes. It's still a heart breaking thing to experience; yea the house can be rebuilt, but you lost pictures, art your kid drew, photo albums, home movies... Those things are near impossible to replace.
i was friends with a native hawaiian when the missle warning went off. she and her husband simply didnt panic, but woke up their two kids and watched cartoons with them. it was very sobering for me. she said that she cried afterwards, once she learned it was a drill. her kids were 3 and 7 at the time. that video of the man golfing reminds me of that. she was willing to die surrounded by her loved ones.
Got me tearing up over here😭
this is actually the cutest thing i've ever read

@@Tensho_C i’m glad you can use common sense and reading comprehension to connect two events but please don’t compare a fictional movie to my friend’s real life thing. She thought she was going to die.

How old are you to consider this a punk rock way to die? Im 32 and my brother is 43. Both HAF and been golfing since we were kids.. in my mind all i can think is.. how da fuck does punk rock and golf + a missile equal such things.. also ive had 3 irish coffees already and its 1130am
When the missile scare happened, my uncle, who lives in Hawaii, called my dad and said goodbye to him. My whole family was depressed and super upset and scared. I’m so glad it wasn’t real.
Oof
I just got an ad for a VPN right after the part with the face in the camera. The ad begins with a: "Someone's watching?" *turns on VPN or smth* "Now they're not."
Jesus...
Big brother wants to give you the illusion of security why don't you take them up on that offer :)?
*M A R K E T I N G*
Damn man. I can imagine your shookness
Lol
The face in the camera was plastic. When they claimed the time stamp was wrong that was a hint.
The daycare is probably a normal daycare. One person says kids never go in. Someone else posts pics of kids going in. The mail carrier says it's always nap time when they deliver, no matter what time it is. The mail comes at roughly the same time every day. Ours comes at about noon. The last place I lived it was about 3pm every day. Someone calls the place weird and suddenly a bunch of stalkers are flooding the area.
The Hawaii scare was too real, although it reminded me of Local 58 a bit.
Grew up in the Midwest so the tornado was too much, they needed to GTFO before that ceiling came down.

The only thing that truly scares me about tornadoes is that pets go missing and are never found..
while that is not the only thing, the disappearance of family pets is so sad to me and it’s terrible knowing that some people forget their beloved cat or dog when racing down to the basement.
The last tornado we had was serious shit.
I have 10 cats, 2 mice and a rat. My boyfriend was yelling at me to get to the basement, but I refused to leave all of them and hunkered down in the bathroom tub with all of my pets with me in the bathroom. There was not enough time to grab each pet and get to the basement, so I made the best choice I could. I hate thinking about pets in emergency situations so boo to the original comment. 😐
@@bellakrueger8040 when an earthquake happened, a small one, i was quick to get out of the house and one of my dogs and cat were spooked and got out their own way. but my shih tzu. she panicked and just went underneath a chair and in my rush, i kept running outside even though i knew she was in my room. i turned back as i was leaving and she was too far into my room for me to feel safe running back in.
i feel awful about my cowardice to this day. but i was scared of running back in and getting caught in a strong aftershock.
it's awful living with that guilt, even though nothing happened and my shih tzu is fine. i cant imagine the pain if something had actually happened to my pets.
edit: i also want to add that as i was running, i was calling my shih tzu and when i ran out i had assumed she was following me. it was when i turned around that i realized she wasnt and she was hiding beneath a chair. i wanted to say fuck it and run back but i was scared.

Gotta love internet "investigators" crossing boundaries and acting like it's okay to creep around a daycare and take pictures because they want there to be some great mystery and they think they're special enough to be the one that breaks the story
My grandparents lived through a tornado that when it happened was the widest tornado to ever occur in the U.S., at 2.5 miles wide. It was absolutely insane because according to my grandmother the sirens went off for maybe 30 seconds before they cut out. She didn’t even have time to grab her glasses off the nightstand by her bed. She, my grandfather, and my uncle all ran down the stairs and toward the basement, but didn’t make it. The tornado went right over their house while they were in the kitchen. A piece of their drywall folded over them like a little lean-to. The rest of their house was literally GONE. Like roof, walls, everything. The only thing standing was the kitchen they were in. Under the lean-to structure that had formed around them was their gas oven, and on top of the oven was a little timer in the shape of a rooster, still sitting there untouched. It wasn’t glued or fastened down, you could easily pick it up, weighed less than half a pound at the most. Absolutely insane. My grandmother said it sounded like 20 trains were all around her blaring their horns, and she could hear her house being torn to shreds around her. It was the loudest sound she’d ever heard, and it was incredibly sobering to slowly step out of the debris and see your entire house gone. My uncle had a katana in his room (from doing martial arts) and it was found stuck in the wall of someone’s garage down the street. Tornados are so terrifying.
The daycare isn't creepy, the grown adult people peeping through the windows and taking pictures of children entering the daycare are
The daycare looks abnormal af otherwise you're right.
I can’t blame people especially if you never saw kids leaving or coming

You’d be the type to let somebody commit some kind of terrible crime because you think the world is sunshine and rainbows.
I was in the Washington, IL tornado featured in the video. It was unlike anything. In my dad's home, it came thru our backyard & even sawed trees down as if a chainsaw was taken to it. It blew the glass in & I was screaming, "Oh my G-d!" But the thrill inspired me to become a storm chaser. I'm surprised only one person passed; a man got sucked away as he tried to reach his basement too late. November 17th 2013 changed us here forever. Stay safe everyone!! The thrill is great for some but it's no joke.
Ok but I am legit concerned about Autumn
Ikr, I’m not seeing any comments about whoever Autumn is and if they’re okay. Legit one of the most scariest thing
What is Autumn?
shark ddu du ddu du Near the end of the tornado video (around the 7:30 mark) the man filming asks “Where’s Autumn?” and his wife replies that she hasn’t seen her or something to that effect. Then the conversation is just over and the video ends without ever addressing it again. Who is Autumn? Are they ok? I just feel like their wellbeing in the aftermath of a gODDAMN TORNADO warrants a little more than the almost nonexistent concern the husband expresses.

I was working as a kayak guide on Maui when the missile scare happened. I was out on the water guiding a tour when it all went down and by the time I landed back at the beach, people were laughing about it already. I did however hear a story of a man rushing to pick up his daughters from elementary/high school. Apparently he broke down sobbing at an intersection because he'd have to go right or left to get either of them and knew he'd probably not have time to get both.

Far too many comments for me to find out if this has been said before: that tornado video is from November 2013 when a very random/unexpected EF4 tornado wiped out a significant portion of the town of Washington, IL (near Peoria). At the tornado video, it wasn't the wife crying or the storm literally ripping their house apart that scared me, it was that one second when the man asked "where's autumn?" That sent chills up my spine, I know the man didn't react which means Autumn was there whoever Autumn was, but still imagining it like they lost a kid or a pet terrified me
Towards the end, the wife says “stay there autumn” and the husband says “give me the dog” so we can assume autumn is safe
I'm hiding down here because I'm scared of that face on the security camera. Edit: due to confusion, I will publicly say here that the face was taken off of this video due to reasons I do not know.
Lego Yoda thank you Finally someone else who was scared. I’m watching this at 1:00 in the morning and am 10/10 scared
Ethan it’s spooky. I think the first volume is the scariest of the nine.

Me too
In the tornado video, the guy said “Where’s autumn?” So I hope the autumn pet/kid survived
They did
Xandawesome They did??? I heard that it was a pet dog and that it died.
Stephanie Hogan I haven't seen the clip in a while and haven't got to that part of the video yet but I think it was their kid. Who was in the closet with the mother possibly but the mother came out with the guy and then he asked where she was. Idk. (I'll edit this comment once I get there if needed lol
I thought it was "Where's Otto?" Like their son. And all I could think was "Oh God they have children."
I want to clear up the "Tornado House" video. It's not "Destroyed" per se. Term Destroyed indicates that something is beyond extraordinary repair. They are the LUCKIEST COUPLE i have seen with their house. If they planned it right and took caution their house can be repaired.
House being destoryed means there isn't a single wall standing and the sun or moon (if it's day or night) is shining directly down at you. I know not many people are asking this, but i wanted to add the idea that it's not destoryed.
I have lived through May 3rd, 1999. I saw one half of my city completely leveled by a EF5 (worst fact: The tornado was so strong that if it was possible, the scale could be up'd one to a EF6 and that tornado would fit the bill.)

My Great great grandfather died playing golf. He was in his late 90s, he teed up on one of the holes, drove the ball, and fell over dead of a heart attack. He died doing what he loved.

I will say that I typically love your videos & have watched them all. On top of just morbid curiosity, hearing/seeing things like this gets me to put things in perspective. Helps me to be more conscious of and grateful for things I tend to take for granted, and helps me look at my "major problems" as compared to other people's REAL major problems. I could've spent half the day distraught... consumed and eaten-up with grief because I got a speeding ticket and was terrified of what that would do to my future insurance premiums. Pulling my hair out, unable to concentrate, can't hold a conversation with my wife or kids because my mind is so laser-focused on the financial implications of a speeding ticket. And then I see a case where a man was dropped into a vat of boiling water and was enduring have dead skin SCRAPED off of his body. Or a Mom that's sitting at home, powerless, having just had a child kidnapped and held for ransom. And she doesn't know if she'll ever see her child again. Or a scuba diver that's trapped in a cave and is quickly running out of oxygen. And then I turn my attention back to the speeding ticket sitting on the table in front of me. And I just have to laugh at myself. Laugh at myself and say, "God, thank you so much for this life where a speeding ticket & increased insurance premium constitutes a MAJOR, "catastrophic" problem. And a wave of gratitude just washes over me.
That being said, THAT was seriously the best footage you could find of the about-to-be-missile-victims? A guy saying, "uhh, well, I just parred the last hole. I love you. Bye." ??? Surely not.
yeah, helps to keep the problems we face in perspective.
I could feel my stomach twist when the picture of the man in the camera came up

The scariest part of tornadoes to me is how fast they are. In less than a minute it went from looking super far into the distance to destroying their house and being long gone
The man who played golf instead of seeking shelter made my day
"I love ya'll but... Imma play golf."
"I just got over the third hole, there's no turning back now."

When our house burned down christmas day 2020, my mother responded the same way. It was awful. I never want to experience anything like that ever again.
this is the shit I think about living in the Midwest 😔 their house could have been in a lot worse shape but it’s still so damn horrifying to see an entire wall of your house missing and have your whole life essentially overturned

My man didn't give a fuck
my dad and stepmom were in hawaii when this happened and, while all us kids were terrified momentarily, they were pretty chill about it-they and everyone on their tour bus was like, “well, not much we can do i guess.... let’s get to brunch”

my grandfather was visiting hawaii during the false alarm as well... and he told us that he got his coffee, and sat on the back porch and just waited.
i found that both really sad but also, really admirable. because i wouldn’t want my last moments to be panic and horror. i would rather calmly enjoy my coffee in hawaii too.
I was in Hawaii when this broadcast was sent. My husband is in the army and we had slept in following a field problem he had just returned from. I didn't get the notification, but my husband did. He immediately threw himself out of bed, pulled me into a hug, shoved my shoes into my hands, handed me the leash to my dog, and told me to hide in the stairwell of our building and to not come out until he came back.
I've never seen him so stoic...so scared. My friends and neighbors were pulling open manhole covers and trying to shove their children inside.
the idea of redditors hanging around a daycare to investigate what its doing but just coming off as creepers is easily the funniest thing I've heard in weeks. Holy fucking shit

In the tornado clip, when he asked "Where's Autumn?" I think my heart stopped

I was stationed in Hawaii when we got that missile alert. Just got off duty, sleepy as all Hell, got to my room, my roommate flew off his rack showed me the alert, I was very annoyed...got dressed saw my fellow Marines, most of who were hungover from the night before, crack open some cold ones, started blasting some heavy metal and started partying again. It was a thing of beauty, bummed a cigarette off a buddy, grabbed a beer and just leaned on the balcony railing waiting for the inevitable. Surrounded by my bois.
Suffice to say, nothing happened, but we were too drunk to care, we laughed it off and kept drinking.
Lovely

If anyone is wondering about the family in the tornado video Josie and her father are doing alright Josie was actually the daughter not the wife. The town recovered only 2 people died in that tornado it took out half our town. Our town is in a pretty well off area and the homes had just been built people from all over the country came to help. I grew up with Josie seeing this video today still hits me with great sadness. There are people in the comments making jokes about how Josie and her dad reacted you don't know them personally you don't know the situation our town was in. Please if you can be more respectful to those of natural disasters. Josie and the other families may have recovered but there are those who aren't so lucky. My family was lucky enough to be outside of town we saw the tornado. From where we were it looked like it was just in the fields and it was a small tornado, but the truth was It was an F4-F5!! one of the biggest tornados you can get! If it hadn't been for our regular monthly checks of our warning systems and the fact that people around here take their lives and the warnings VERY seriously more people could have AND SHOULD have died. It is something very stressful families can go through if it weren't for surrounding towns and amazing people from all over the country donating what little they could I don't think we could have recovered as quickly as we did. I'm happy to report that Josie has been attending collage she is very happy and her father is doing well! If I may add one more thing if in the future anyone is reading this and there is a disaster or war efforts going on please donate at least $1 to whatever cause you're able to donate to! Spread love not hate! Thank you.
Ignore the imbecile trolls. I know this was years ago already but I hope you all found peace and prosperity!
God Bless you and the rest of the town. Hope all is well for yall!

when the hawaii missile scare happened, my mum’s friend and her husband were on their honeymoon to hawaii and i walked into my mum’s room to wonder why she was crying. her friend called her frantic that she thought they were all going to die. we all sat there waiting for a response or an update of when this nightmare would be over. she gave her goodbyes as she cried over the phone. i live in california and watching this happen from such a distance was terrifying. couldn’t have been more relieved that it was a false alarm.
