The batch code on my box is 31071 and is printed on the box and Waxer figure, if that helps anyone identify which boxes have the black brow painted!
The batch code on my boxes are 30831, and they have the black brow painted on as well
The fact that they added the brow lines has made me go from "I'm gunna wait for a sale" to "I miiiight pick it up soon". The price man... these multipacks have gone up in price by a whole extra figure and we still got 4. lol It's funny too how they still have that same big/small helmet problem the ARC trooper mold had. Great vid man!!
It’s a nice change! But it’s so odd to me when I’ve seen dozens of well made Val and Andor’s, but somehow TBS and TVC clones have consistent errors, mold problems, and inconsistent design choices.
Either way, I’d love to see your take on these when you get them!
What if i told you the paint on the bottom leg armor is STILL inaccurate because it's painted differently from the ROTS 212th clones.
@@RustbeltCollector the black series clones seem to be improving more and more with each release while tvc keeps going down and up without stop

That helmet issues seems more and more common, but hopefully they can address it in future clone releases!
Very cool. I was able to get a box with and without the black brow line. Fun little variant.
Got this on outlet from pulse and has the black brows. Can't beat that.
Just looked over at my troopers when you mentioned the brow lines. Mine don't have them... and now I can't help but notice how weird they look with all my other clones. I ordered them about 2 minutes after they dropped for anyone interested.
I love this new mold too.
I got the one without the black brow painted but I don't mind to be fair as for my collection it makes my 212th look a little more unique plus I only paid the figure pack price but got free delivery from Hasbro pulse
I’m happy they gave them the brow lines, when I buy a set for myself I hope I get an updated set. Maybe someday I’ll also try to track down one without the brow line, it would be an interesting variation to have.
It certainly will be interesting to see which becomes more rare in the future!
@@RustbeltCollector I’m going to predict it will be the brow less version. But I could be wrong, so far I haven’t seen any go up for sale yet (minus the copies that went up on eBay from Asia a few months ago)
@@RustbeltCollector if there was any plus to having the brow less versions it would be 2012 phase 2 Cody finally has troops that somewhat match him.
This weekend I picked up an andor clone from Walmart and it had the small helmet issue however to me it looks even smaller than these do. I cant even squeeze it past the eyebrows, contacted customer support and hope to hear from them in the next few days. They really need to start sending out replacement’s.
I love this pack but man I wish I'd gotten the updated versions with the black brow. If it goes down in price I might pick another one up and maybe the versions without the brow will become more rare and desirable

They revealed a new clone 4 pack in the pipeline today. It basically included everything I expected from it (1 501st, 1 332nd, and 2 shinies). I wish they could have made a more unique pack, but I guess this is them trying to make up for their mistake of putting out the 501st and 332nd on clone wars cards just before they had the new mold ready. Hopefully we get another one down the line.
I really want to get this 4-Pack. Hope to Hasbro to create a 501st Army Builder 4-Pack too... :)
my first copy of the vintage collection umbra arc trooper had a small helmet and it was very tight, while my vintage collection fives was big and not tight to remove.
It’s a very odd issue. Maybe an issue with the mold machine or something with the plastic....hard to say. The paint is seemingly still aligned.
I would try make visors bit bigger more wide like old ones with knife and cut under cheek little by little till it feels how it should work
It’s a nice pack but would’ve liked a 212th medic instead of Waxer.
A medic would have been awesome!
I received mine yesterday they did not have the Brow Line. I would of preferred that they had a Captain Cody Figure included.
I definitely agree that the paint choice is silly. The idea of "realistic" versions of animated characters doesn't really fit when we already have realistic designs for them. I really hope they move past this trend.
Should they ever do a pack of 442nd Troopers, it will be a shame if they just have green versions of the same designs as these.
I sometimes wonder if it’s all because of what references they are provided by lucasfilm.
I’d love a peek behind the curtain to know who is behind the final designs and what the logic is behind choices like animated/realistic.
I don't think we've seen a realistic Waxer.
@@TylertheCC1010fan we haven’t, but there are some pretty easy ways to adapt designs. Especially if they cross-referenced ROTS 212th patterns. There are whole groups of fans dedicated to adapting CW designs into realistic designs, perhaps one day one of them will work for hasbro!

Yeah the 501st troopers had the shrunken helmets on a few copies too. Must be a production error rather than a change.
Not that anyone asked, but it’s just fascinating, I waited till last week to order a couple packs of these, both came WITHOUT the brow line! Curious!
My 212th pack doesn’t have the line which is fine for me. But ALL of their visors are shifted down
That’s the worst!! Maybe check with hasbro to see if they will offer a replacement!

I have the same issue with the small helmets. I’ve contacted Hasbro Pulse customer service, but I am yet to hear back. Hopefully I can get two replacement helmets when I hear back.

@@RustbeltCollector It looks like Hasbro will only offer a refund/return, or they are willing to give a free complimentary item to make amends for the fault in the figures. I am choosing a refund/return, and I will wait to get another when it goes on sale.

Unbelievable. I just got my set yesterday and they don't have the black line above their visor. Now I have to buy a Waxer with the correction on ebay.
I really dislike the off white colors they're using. It clashes badly with my customs. And another thing I dislike is that the knee pads and elbow pads should have a gap sculpted between them and the upper arm and shin armor like the antenna mold, VC 15, and AT-TE sculpts. As is, they don't look like separate pieces as elbow and knee pads should.

I was not impressed with the helmet fit on all 4. Waxers is too big, the others too small. Chins stick out.
Also the chin popping out at the bottom of the helmet is so whack. Having a helmet/ head swap would have been much more ideal
