He isn't replaced and it a different love between siblings and your children you can platonically love more than one person so CC isn't being replaced.
He wasn’t replaced, Mike just had a kid, and he loves his child more than anything in the world. Also, if CC did come back, Mike would probably show his love even more. For some people it’s just straight up difficult to show love, even to loved ones. And it looks like he’s gotten over it now :’)
