Amen! I recently have come to understand this myself.
For the longest time I've been wanting to get approval from people and always forgetting what God has spoken about my life and who I am, I've had to let go of being thirsty for man's approval and be thirsty for God's approval, God's like 👍 God's double tab and man it is refreshing to hear this word because wow I'm running to the father.

God is good, and despite me having low faith at times and battling through my own problems like we all do, God always continues to come through for me even when I feel as though I don't deserve it. Even though I don't wanna go through my struggles and I want everyday to be peaches and cream it's not always gonna be like that and that's something I have to work on with His help along with my other flaws. Without God I wouldn't have gotten out of the dark area I was in a couple of years ago. And as much as I worry about my future and lose patience, I just have to trust in God that He's gonna steer me in the right direction, as hard as it is to let it all go and let God I have too. And I love him for always just being there through my good and bad. ♡ I'm on my own journey and I can't wait to see what God has in store for me.
