- I used BLOCKBENCH on my PHONE and here is what I discovered.. You gave me the challenge to use Blockbench on my Phone to create an animated model for Minecraft. Did I enjoy it? Here's what happened..
The webb application for Blockbench can be installed on your phone and tablet devices. Using the webb app on your android phone is super cool and comes with all blockbench features ready to be used. I started out animating a leg to get an idea of how the program would handle it, and it delivered!
Then I created a 3D model of a minecraft villager knight, which I textured using a stylus pen with my phone. The walk animation was very easy to do at first, but then I ran into the biggest issue with the Blockbench webb application when you use it on a tablet or phone device.

In this video I use a software known as "Blockbench". Blockbench is a 3D modeling software for Minecraft and Voxel Graphics. The goal was to simulate a lower efficiency setup. If I had some BT devices, the phone would probs be solid on the go!
Whenever I try to make a addon for bedrock using the entity wizard, it FORCES ME to export when I haven’t even made the custom model
I didn't even know it was possible to use blockbench on your phone and after using it a little bit I feel like I will be using it a lot when I'm outdoors. 👍👍
As an addict, even I do - while I'm not a fan of the flow via a phone device as opposed to the PC workflow 😊

Will probably be in a future video, as it's a lot of extra work to create (you bake the geometry into the character rig, for several viewports, and apply/remove/hide it upon equip cases)

If there's a tutorial on how to make add-ons on mobile I only use add-ons maker and import my models and my custom animations there
Many have asked for one, and I don't know when I'll be able to sit down and make that happend. Mainly since it's so many steps to cover for an addon 🤔

As long as you zip the rp and bp together and rename that .zip to .mcaddon you should in theory be able to open it

Particle systems are called from a resource pack - you'd have to link that to the keyframe. I have yet to figure that part out (very rarely ever open Blockbench outside of my PC).
Sounds must be .ogg files :)

When downloading from your mobile device with the intentions of uploading it on PC what file type does it need to be set as ?
There's an issue with any android device, as it saves the models as a .txt format or similar. Altough it's fully functional if the file format is renamed to bbmodel 🤷
If you're talking about Minecraft files, it depends soley on how your mobile device handles files.

For me I'm new to block bench and I don't really carry my laptop around everywhere, and since I'm new the mobile ui is EXTRA confusing. I couldn't figure out how to reorganize my layers I tried fr everything, everytime I moved my hand (I'm used to my phone being locked in portrait) my screen always rotates to landscape and to my knowledge there's no way to fix it. Also whenever I try to edit the scaling of things by .25 by typing, the ui either says "copied to clipboard" or it highlights the numbers and then pops up a big ol ui that reads "copy, paste" and then the other option. Mobile blockbench is fr the absolute worst for beginners I cannot express my distain for it. I cant speak for experts but as for me it's seriously ridiculously bad.
Neither I am a fan of the mobile variant, unless you operate a bluetooth keyboard! :)
I always block out my colors in blockbench but then export the texture to my iPad to add details and variations in color

The only thing that makes me almost dissemble my phone which is very hard to import json and textures into blockbench. It’s sometimes working but sometimes not

yeah blockbench mobile is a little bit wiered (but i dont know other blockbench versions than that), personally i avoided the snapping related thing with an external keyboard, it make everything easier but less portable ..

How do you export the entity to Minecraft on my phone? Do you have a video?
My son has made several models on Blockbench with the entity wizard on my old android phone. Some of them he's been able to get into the game, but they don't look any different than the mob that he used to start his model with. I don't know what we're doing wrong. Does he need to actually change some of the code in the json files that download to his phone when he exports the mcaddon folder? I've spent hours looking at videos and trying to help him...but I'm clueless.
On the phone, he does need to go and open the exported package in post and save his files to it... PC would allow you to bake files into a preexisting pack.
I refrain heavily from using phones for implementation, but he is neither first or last with this query - so I can only conclude for now that the most likely issue is that the model itself, and its animations are never saved into the pack and overwritten the vanilla files (that generate automatically with the Entity Wizard - for you to edit later).
So, the most likely scenario is that the model, texture and animation files are not exported into the pack, and then you need to zip the pack up again and rename to .mcaddon for it to install to Minecraft.. :/

Are you rotating from an angle where you don't see the circle for that rotational plane?
I Use it On Mobile To just make simple models where I don't need to animate complex animations.
For Complex things I always prefer PC.
We can Just Conclude it's just Possible to use it on mobile but not preferred
Edit: And yes for some reason it dosen't rename my bbmodel to text file

And I can add the model and everything to MC, but when I do the animations, it just says "unsaved".

Display, java models, is located in one of the bottom menues (last i checked) on android devices.
I put it on my home page it bit awkward some times i find bit weard moving groop of cubes thay move in the rotation direction only happens 2-out of 10 animating bit off bit like it any ways trying to make toothles/night fury(full tail)

And when i do so, it still wont work.

Yes, the .zip allows you to edit files on phone devices, but... you gotta convert it back to mcaddon when done ^^

How to use No.3?!?!
Instructions are sorta there as a tool for when you share .jsons with a dev so they know what to do.
You can benchmark info such as: shoot something here, then at this timer play audio file in ambience, etc.

It would be made by writing functions you call for using the animations, or via commandblocks that you can use to trigger an animation with
